Abstract

Many children at the elementary school level have played online games together. The reason why children play this online game as an amusement ride is to relieve boredom. The purpose of this study is to find out the reason why children in Teluk Rhu Village, North Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency, prefer the Free Fire online game and to find out the social interaction of children during the game. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 10 children consisting of 7 girls and 3 boys. The instruments used are interviews and observations. The results of this study state that the reason why children choose the Free Fire online game is that it is easy to access the game and the menu displayed is also not complicated. Then the social interaction of children in the category is very good, namely 69.37% while good is 30.63%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of portfolio assessment in science learning at MIN 5 Aceh Tamiang. This research is descriptive qualitative. The methods used for data collection include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data reduction, data presentation, and data verification are theoretical techniques used in data analysis by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicate that the teaching and learning process using portfolios has been going well because it is in accordance with the rules that apply in madrasas and teachers have used K13 but at the time of portfolio assessment, there is still one indicator (observation sheet) that has not been implemented properly this is because the teacher does not understand how to make an observation sheet in ecosystem material

Abstract

This article aims to determine the response of parents and traders to the harmful of additives contained in children's snacks and the efforts made to overcome them. The method used is descriptive qualitative with research subjects as many as 30 parents and 7 traders who are in the TPQ environment of the Great Mosque of Darul Falah Langsa, Aceh. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that parents understand about the harmful that will be faced by children if they consume snacks that contain additives in snacks. However, parents cannot fully control their children's activities outside the home and often get stomachaches and allergies. Efforts are being made to reduce pocket money and provide understanding to their children. According to merchant, the ingredients added to snacks are dyes, flavourings, sweeteners, and preservatives and understand the impact of giving these additives. The addition of these additives does not follow the established rules, but is in accordance with the wishes of the merchant. Thus, excessive use of additives can be disastrous for children, and both parents and traders are aware of the impacts caused by excessive use of these additives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of think pair share learning strategy assisted by index card match on student learning outcomes in the 2023/2024 academic year at SD Negeri 058295 Benteng Sari. This research is a quasi experiment research with one group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in class V of SD Negeri 058295 Benteng Sari in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 school year with a total of 30 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using essay questions to measure student learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out by statistical analysis of paired sample t-tests. Based on the results of the study obtained a significance value of 0.001. The value is smaller than 0.05 so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference in the think pair share learning strategy assisted by learning media index card match on student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 058295 Benteng Sari. So it can be concluded that the think pair share learning strategy assisted by index card match media can significantly improve student learning outcomes. Thus, this strategy can be applied in elementary schools to improve students' understanding and academic achievement.
