Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V pada materi luas gabungan bangun datar melalui penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) berbasis Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Taggart, dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 17 siswa kelas V UPT SDN 060937 Medan Johor. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 42,35 pada pra-siklus menjadi 63,97 pada siklus I, dan mencapai 81,325 pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa dan guru juga mengalami peningkatan dari kategori "kurang" dan "cukup" menjadi "cukup" dan "baik". Pendekatan CRT berbasis ICT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, mempermudah pemahaman konsep matematika melalui kontekstualisasi budaya lokal, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan media sosial dengan perilaku agresif pada siswa. Adapun metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional kuantitatif yang terdiri dari dua variabel X (Penggunaan Media Sosial) dan variabel Y (Perilaku Agresif). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Botumoito Kabupaten Boalemo yang berjumlah 445 siswa. Sedangkan pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling berjumlah 45 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial dengan perilaku agresif pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Botumoito Kabupaten Boalemo, yang diperoleh nilai korelasi (r) sebesar 0,429. Hasil ini berdasarkan perhitungan model persamaan regresi yang telah dilakukan diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar = 0,184 x 100% =18,4%. Maka hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial sangat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku agresif pada siswa. Maka demikian, semakin tinggi tingkat penggunaan media sosial maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat perilaku agresif pada siswa. Sebaliknya, jika semakin rendah tingkat penggunaan media sosial maka semakin rendah pula tingkat perilaku agresif pada siswa. Namun perlu dipahami bahwa penggunaan media sosial yang dapat memberikan pengaruh pada perilaku agresif siswa adalah penggunaan media sosial yang bersifat negatif.

Abstract

Sabun cuci piring yang banyak digunakan dan beredar di pasaran tidak sedikit menggunakan zat kimia aktif yang bisa dikatakan tidak ramah terhadap kulit manusia sehingga menyebabkan kulit terasa kering, gatal-gatal dan terkelupas. Namun, ada zat aktif lain yang bisa digunakan dalam pembuatan sabun pencuci secara alami, yaitu ekstrak sereh wangi dari tanaman sereh wangi. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan ekstrak serai wangi dalam pembuatan sabun cuci piring dianggap sangat efektif, tidak hanya untuk memberikan aroma, tetapi juga untuk memberikan efek antibakteri. Sebagaimana peneliti telah melakukan observasi awal ke lokasi yayasan, peneliti mendapatkan bahwa anak-anak berbagi peralatan makan yang sama. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya potensi tinggi terhadap penyebaran kuman dan bakteri, terutama melalui peralatan makan yang digunakan bersama tanpa adanya jaminan kebersihan yang optimal. Oleh karena itu keterampilan pemanfaatan ekstrak daun serai untuk pembuatan sabun cuci piring khususnya pada warga di Yayasan Al-Kahfi Medan Amplas akan sangat membantu menghemat biaya pembelian sabun dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan bahan alami untuk produk cuci piring.

Abstract

The lack of strong cooperative character among students at SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor is due to their insufficient development of teamwork skills during collaborative tasks in the learning environment. Thus, it is essential for teachers to implement creative teaching methods. This research aims to enhance the cooperative character of students using the Problem Based Learning approach within the Pancasila Education subject for fifth graders at SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor. The study is structured as Classroom Action Research (PTK) including a preliminary phase, followed by two cycles. Data collection methods comprised observations, interviews, surveys, and documentation, which were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The participants were 26 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor. The outcomes of this research reveal a positive development in the students' cooperative character through the Problem Based Learning methodology, with learning achievements rising from 53% in the first cycle to 84% in the second cycle, indicating an improvement of 31%. These results support the conclusion that the Problem Based Learning framework can foster increased mutual cooperation among students.

Abstract

Munculnya konflik antar budaya disebabkan oleh kurangnya kompetensi multikultural oleh individu untuk menghormati keberadaan orang lain yang berbeda budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran berdasarkan pengalaman dan pelatihan penyadaran untuk mengingatkan kompetensi multikultural siswa BKPI. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe eksperimen sejati yang menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 siswa yang memiliki kompetensi multikultural dalam kategori rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kompetensi multikultural. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Wilcoxon signed-rank test untuk mengukur skor siswa sebelum dan sesudah perawatan diberikan. Uji Mann-Whitney U digunakan untuk mengukur perbandingan model yang lebih efektif digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of stress coping and emotion regulation on student academic stress. This study is an expos facto study with a sample of semester IV Islamic counseling guidance students of UIN Raden Intan Lampung, as many as 150 students, samples taken by the purposive method. The instruments used in this study were stress coping scale, emotion regulation scale, and academic stress scale, which had been developed based on indicators and had been validated. The analysis used in this study is the multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that stress coping and emotional regulation have a significant effect on student academic stress.

Abstract

Strengthening the Pancasila student profile is the latest issue in the world of education in Indonesia. All projects and learning methods used aim to shape the character of Pancasila students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance using the traditional bilu-bilu game to strengthen the profile of students of Pancasila at SD N 60 Kota Timur. This research is a single case experimental design study with A-B design and involves four respondents using a random sampling method. The instruments used in this study were the Pancasila student profile scale and observation guidelines. The analysis technique used is clinical and statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the profile of Pancasila students through traditional bilu-bilulu games at baseline A1, intervention, and baseline A2. Schools can adapt classic games in guidance and counselling services or in the learning process to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. This study combines group guidance stages with traditional games, allowing students to gain meaningful experiences in each guidance session. The results of this study can be used as a reference for schools to develop group guidance service programs using local wisdom.

Abstract

Academic hardiness is crucial for students as it aids in coping with stress, improving academic performance, and fostering mental resilience.  This study aimed to describe the level of academic hardiness among Gorontalo State University students as a basis for formulating programs by the Academic Services Unit.  This descriptive study involved 136 students who were recruited using simple random sampling technique.  Data were collected using an academic hardiness scale with a reliability level of 0.880.  Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency and central tendency calculations through IBM SPSS 22.  The research result showed  M=93.96 and SD=13.494. It also demonstrated that 92 students fell into the high category, 42 students into the moderate category, and 2 students into the low category.  The results of this research provide a foundation for identifying students potentially in need of additional support in terms of academic hardiness and planning suitable interventions to be carried out by the Academic Services Unit at Gorontalo State University.

Abstract

Prevention of drug abuse in students is an effort that needs to be done by the school to minimize the illicit circulation of drugs in the school environment. The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the implications of the implementation of peer counselors on the prevention of drug abuse in students. This study used a correlation research design with two variables, namely peer counselors and drug abuse prevention. Using accidental sampling techniques, a total of 250 peer counselors from 5 high schools were obtained, then data were collected using peer counselor implementation questionnaires and drug abuse prevention questionnaires after which they were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient. The results showed a positive and significant relationship with an rxy value of 0.745 with a rtable value obtained of 0.273. This shows that the rxy value is more than the rtable value, so there is a positive and significant influence from some of the implementation of anti-drug peer counselors on the variable of prevention of anthroba abuse in students with the level of influence between some independent and some dependent, in the high category (0.61 to 0.80). The information indicates that the presence of peer counselors spread across high schools in Bone Bolango Regency plays an important role in preventing drug abuse in students.

Abstract

Services have a vital role in helping students face various challenges. However, conventional services often encounter obstacles, especially with the increasing number of students requiring guidance. This research aims to enhance the quality of guidance and counseling services through the implementation of Android-based information technology for student data collection. This study employs the ADDIE development model. The analysis phase is carried out through expert testing. The developed application is designed with consideration for data security, user privacy, as well as ease of access and service flexibility. Evaluation is conducted through feasibility tests by experts in guidance and counseling, media, and information technology, along with trials involving end-users. The research results indicate that the Android-based data collection system received high ratings in feasibility, accuracy, ease of use, and usability. The implementation of this system enables administrative efficiency, more measurable student progress monitoring, and the provision of more personalized and responsive services.
