Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of lifestyle of students of the Economic Education study program in the influence of social media use. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, with the research subjects being students of Economics Education, while the object of the research is the lifestyle of students in the influence of social media use. The informants of this research were 3rd (three) semester economics education students. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research conducted on economic education students at UIN Suska Riau, the students' lifestyle in terms of the influence of social media use is categorized as high with a percentage of 68.8%. These results also show that through 3 (three) lifestyle indicators, namely activities, interests and opinions, the lifestyle of Economic Education students is considered positive because in general students agree with the positive sub-indicators and disagree with the negative sub-indicators. So the conclusion is that Economics Education students have a good lifestyle and are not exposed to negative things on the social media they use.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan Penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis dan menggambarkan kesulitan dalam penyelesaian soal matematika ekonomi, dilihat dari perspektif koneksi matematis pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Adapun subjek yang diambil adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi, semester 2 di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Suska Riau, berjumlah 104 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan wawancara. Tes terdiri dari 4 soal uraian yang bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat kemampuan koneksi matematis mahasiswa. Wawancara dilakukan dengan 6 mahasiswa, masing-masing 2 mahasiswa dengan kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah, menggunakan pedoman wawancara terstruktur untuk menemukan kesulitan yang dihadapi berdasarkan jawaban mereka pada tes tertulis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode Milles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hasil yang diperoleh yaitu mahasiswa yang memiliki Koneksi matematika tinggi, cenderung tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal. Mahasiswa dengan kategori koneksi matematis sedang cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam penerapan prinsip dan penyelesaian masalah verbal. Mahasiswa dengan kemampuan koneksi matematis rendah cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep, menerapkan prinsip, dan menyelesaikan masalah verbal. AbstractThe objective of this research is to analyze and describe the difficulties in solving economic mathematics problems from the perspective of mathematical connections among students of the Economics Education Study Program. This study is a qualitative descriptive research using a case study approach. The subjects taken are 104 second-semester students of the Economics Education Study Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Suska Riau. Data were collected through tests and interviews. The test consists of 4 essay questions aimed at assessing the students' level of mathematical connection ability. Interviews were conducted with 6 students, comprising 2 students with high, medium, and low mathematical connection abilities, respectively, using structured interview guidelines to identify the difficulties faced based on their answers to the written test. The data obtained were analyzed using the Milles and Huberman method, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or data verification. From the conducted research, the results obtained indicate that students with high mathematical connection abilities tend not to experience difficulties in solving problems. Students with medium mathematical connection abilities tend to experience difficulties in the application of principles and solving verbal problems. Students with low mathematical connection abilities tend to have difficulties in understanding concepts, applying principles, and solving verbal problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kesiapan Belajar Terhadap Kemandirian Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Moro Kabupaten Karimun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Moro Kabupaten Karimun Sebanyak 135 Siswa. Sedangkan penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus slovin, yang diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 101 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data adalah regresi linier sederhana dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Dari Hasil Penelitian diketahui bahwa tingkat kesiapan belajar siswa tergolong baik dengan persentase sebesar 74,24% sedangkan kemandirian belajar siswa tergolongan baik dengan persentase sebesar 77,27%. Hasil Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa sebesar 61,3% yang berarti semakin tinggi tingkat kesiapan belajar siswa maka kemandirian belajar siswa akan semakin baik dan sebaliknya semakin rendah tingkat kesiapan belajar siswa maka kemandirian belajar siswa juga akan semakin rendah dan sisanya sebesar 38,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Peneliti mempunyai keyakinan yang sangat kuat bahwa variabel Sikap Keuangan dan Pengetahuan Keuangan merupakan faktor yang paling mempengaruhi Perilaku Keuangan agar masyarakat terhindar dari kemiskinan, ketidakstabilan keuangan dan sejenisnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatori yang dikumpulkan menggunakan metode kuisioner digital terhadap 100 orang yang berpenghasilan 1-3 juta, 100 orang yang berpenghasilan 4-10 juta, dan 100 orang yang mempunyai pendapatan di atas 10 juta. . Data ini disebut juga data primer. Data ini dianalisis menggunakan alat analisis smart PLS 4.0.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is the second type of metabolic disease characterized by increased blood sugar levels due to abnormalities in insulin production. The quite high mortality caused by diabetes mellitus is most often experienced by adults and does not cover children and teenagers. This is due to increased body weight or obesity due to an unbalanced diet. Apart from that, less activity and less exercise causes an increase in blood sugar levels. In general, this disease is often ignored and is not a disease that sufferers experience. In fact, without realizing it, his health condition began to be disturbed for quite a long time, coupled with the condition of blood glucose levels above the normal average which is a characteristic of diabetes mellitus.  Hyperglycemia can be caused by a lack of knowledge regarding how to manage diabetes mellitus. Apart from that, information about diabetes mellitus education can also be a cause of hyperglycemia. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge of diabetes mellitus sufferers about the disease process, prevention, complications and management of diabetes mellitus. Socialization activities regarding the processing of curly meatballs for diabetes mellitus patients were carried out at the Benteng Hilir Housing Complex with a total of 22 respondents. The counseling method is carried out by conducting health checks on family members who have sufferers in the family and conducting socialization on the processing of making curly meatball food for diabetes sufferers.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan Mendeley kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Proses penyelesaian masalah dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 100 peserta. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa para peserta sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan penggunaan Mendeley ini dan berharap adanya tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan teknik penulisan tugas akhir lanjut dengan Mendeley. Diperkirakan, kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi ini dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam menulis situs, mencari referensi online, dan menyusun daftar pustaka dengan benar, cepat, dan otomatis, baik dalam penulisan makalah maupun tugas akhir. Dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley, yang terlihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest melalui Google Forms. Abstract

This paper explores the changing environment of research trends and problems in accounting information through a thorough bibliometric analysis. With the aid of sophisticated visualization tools such as Vosviewer and the databases Scopus and Web of Science, we examine a selected dataset of academic papers from 1963 to 2023. Within the domain, our analysis reveals topic clusters, keyword occurrences, collaborative networks, and influential works. Interdisciplinarity is highlighted by collaborative networks, which highlight the increasing convergence of accounting, finance, economics, and technology. Citation analysis identifies important works that have influenced the subject and provides insights into long-lasting contributions. Thematic clusters offer academics a way to navigate a variety of study frontiers, from the complex relationships between accounting standards and the capital market to the revolutionary impact of technology. The continuous emphasis on accounting information systems is highlighted by keyword occurrence analysis, which also reveals new themes like big data and the internet. The amalgamation of these discoveries functions as a guide for academics, professionals, and decision-makers, directing forthcoming research projects towards domains of importance, novelty, and cross-disciplinary investigation.

Abstract

English as a global language is taught to the students as the subjects in primary schools to universities. Alongside with that circumstances, students also could learn from informal places, like English course or Online Platform, that create various opportunities for students to learn English. Kampung Inggris PALI is one of the informal place to learn English at PALI, that can infiltrate the Language Teaching at the informal classroom direcly and to formal classroom indirectly with the output of the concept is the more motivated student to learn to speak English, that not too many formal and informal institution can offer. Students’ speaking achievement at Kampung Inggris PALI were analyzed by using some techniques: observation, interview, and document analysis. The qualitative method was used in this research. The results indicate that the students in Kampung Inggris PALI have strong motivation in speaking English although they still have lack in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, fluency and English Understanding

Abstract

Speaking ability is an important skill that must be possessed by students, especially in the field of tourism. This study aims to explore the effect of role play and learning motivation on the speaking ability of first-year students of the Rooms Division at Palembang Tourism Polytechnic. This research method used a factorial design with a population of first-year students of the Hospitality Department. The research sample consisted of 32 participants, consisting of 16 people in the Experiment Group and 16 people in the Control Group. Data were collected through questionnaires and two measurement instruments, then analyzed using Two-Way Analysis of Variance. The results showed that there was a significant effect of role play on students' speaking ability, both those with high and low learning motivation. In addition, conventional teaching techniques also had a significant effect on students' speaking ability, depending on their level of learning motivation. The use of role play proved to be more effective than the conventional teaching technique in improving students' speaking ability. This finding shows that there is an interaction between role play and learning motivation that affects students' speaking ability. Therefore, this finding emphasizes the importance of applying innovative methods and high motivation in the learning process to improve students' speaking ability.  The implications of this study suggest that educators prioritize interactive and motivational teaching strategies to improve speaking skills, which are crucial for career readiness in the tourism industry. In addition, role play can be a key component in the curriculum that aims to improve communication skills at various levels of student motivation.

Abstract

Abstract Company value is a very important aspect and is of concern to external parties such as investors, stakeholders, government officials, partners, and so on. As the value of the company increases, the company's image will become better amidst the elements that the researcher mentioned earlier. There are a number of factors that can influence company value, including Mode Costs which researchers can influence. In contrast to previous research, this research uses the Good Corporate Governance variable as a moderating variable which researchers believe can strengthen the influence of the Cost of Capital variable on Company Value. This research is a quantitative research with an explantory approach. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained through questionnaires from 250 employees in the fields of finance, HRD, HR and managers throughout Bank Danamon throughout Indonesia.
