Abstract

Masjid sebagai pusat spiritual umat Islam memiliki peran yang strategis. Namun, masih banyak masjid komunitas yang menghadapi kendala dalam tata kelola manajemen, terutama karena keterbatasan kapasitas sumber daya manusia pengurusnya. Hal ini juga terjadi pada Masjid Nurul Huda Dasan Baru, Lombok Timur, di mana sistem manajemen masih bersifat tradisional, dokumentasi kegiatan kurang teratur, dan keterlibatan remaja masjid belum terfasilitasi secara optimal. Kondisi ini menunjukkan urgensi penguatan kapasitas pengurus dengan pendekatan baru yang lebih profesional, partisipatif, dan berbasis nilai kemanusiaan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan manajerial pengurus Masjid Nurul Huda melalui pelatihan berbasis humanity capital, terutama pada pengelolaan data administrasi berbantuan teknologi dan mengelola keuangan masjid secara transparan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatoris-transformasional melalui tahapan pendahuluan (need assessment), pelaksanaan (pelatihan dan simulasi), serta evaluasi (refleksi dan coaching). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen pengurus. Peserta pelatihan mampu menyusun rencana strategis program masjid, membangun sistem dokumentasi kegiatan, serta memperkuat transparansi laporan keuangan. Evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan peserta yang tinggi dan adanya perubahan perilaku dalam komunikasi serta kepemimpinan berbasis nilai empati dan pelayanan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a translation-based learning strategy for Al-Qur’an and Hadith in improving students’ comprehension at MTs Mu’min Ma’sum. The background of this research stems from the issue that learning activities are still primarily focused on memorization, causing students to struggle with understanding the meaning of Qur’anic verses and hadiths in depth. The translation strategy was selected because it enables students to recognize the meaning of vocabulary, sentence structure, and the contextual messages contained within, thereby making the learning process more meaningful. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interviews, documentation, and data triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The implementation of the strategy includes word analysis, understanding the context of verses, group discussions, noting essential meanings, and summarizing lesson content. The results show that the translation strategy enhances students’ active engagement in the learning process, strengthens their ability to explain verse meanings, and helps them connect the messages of the Qur’an and Hadith with their daily learning experiences. Although some students still require assistance during the adaptation period of the Merdeka Curriculum, overall, this strategy is considered relevant, flexible, and effective in improving students’ comprehension and the quality of Al-Qur’an and Hadith learning in the madrasah. Abstract

This study examines the application of cognitive theory in teaching Arabic at SMP-IT Al-Fajar Mataram. The main problem lies in the effectiveness of cognitive theory and the accompanying challenges within the context of language instruction. The study aims to identify the forms of cognitive theory implementation and the obstacles faced by both teachers and students. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of cognitive theory aligns with educational goals focused on meaning comprehension, knowledge construction, and active student engagement. However, its implementation still encounters several challenges, including variations in students’ cognitive abilities, limited time, lack of instructional media, low motivation, and difficulties in conducting higher-order thinking-based assessments. Therefore, the success of this theory’s implementation largely depends on the teacher’s creativity and the support of a collaborative learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the use of AI chatbots and students' enthusiasm for writing Arabic theses at UMMAT and UIN Mataram, as well as to compare the level of enthusiasm between students from the two institutions. The research employed a quantitative correlational and comparative approach, using a questionnaire as the primary instrument. Data were analysed using the product-moment correlation formula and an independent-samples t-test. The findings show a highly significant relationship between the use of AI chatbots and students' enthusiasm for writing Arabic theses at both universities. Linear regression analysis indicates a positive contribution, with a significance value of 0.000 and a beta coefficient of 0.912, suggesting that higher use of AI is associated with higher levels of enthusiasm. The t-test results reveal a significant difference between the two institutions (sig. 0.001), with UIN Mataram students demonstrating greater enthusiasm than those at UMMAT. These differences, while not part of the measured variables, may be interpreted as being influenced by contextual factors such as academic environment, facilities, institutional policies, and academic culture. In conclusion, the use of AI chatbots has a strong positive association with students' enthusiasm for thesis writing, and enthusiasm levels differ significantly between institutions, with contextual interpretations provided for the observed patterns.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Qur’anic verses for multicultural values using Toshihiko Izutsu’s semantic approach and to present pedagogical illustrations, informed by student reflections, that show how semantic awareness may emerge in Arabic language learning contexts. The study adopts a conceptual–qualitative research design that emphasizes textual interpretation and pedagogical reflection rather than the empirical evaluation of instructional effectiveness. Conceptual semantic analysis based on Izutsu’s framework is applied to selected Qur’anic verses through four interrelated layers of meaning: basic meaning, relational meaning, historical meaning, and worldview (Weltanschauung). The analysis demonstrates that multicultural values, such as diversity, justice, dialogue, social cooperation, and recognition of religious plurality, are constructed through relational networks of meaning linking key concepts, syntactic structures, and discourse patterns. Pedagogical illustrations drawn from reflective student accounts suggest that semantic-oriented engagement with Qur’anic texts can foster contextual, relational, and ethical awareness in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) di SDN 33 Kota Bima dan dampaknya terhadap nilai-nilai akhlak siswa. Model PBL dirancang untuk mendorong siswa aktif mencari solusi dari masalah nyata, serta mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan empati. Pendidikan akhlak merupakan bagian penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa. Meskipun penanaman nilai akhlak belum optimal dengan metode sebelumnya, sekolah ini berusaha meningkatkan pembelajaran akhlak melalui PBL yang mengaitkan materi akademik dengan pengalaman nyata siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. yang bertujuan untuk memahami proses penerapan PBL dan dampaknya terhadap nilai-nilai akhlak siswa secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang diintegrasikan pada beberapa mata pelajaran yang berfokus pada pemecahan masalah nyata, sekolah ini berhasil meningkatkan nilai-nilai akhlak siswa. Disamping memahami materi akademik, siswa juga dapat menginternalisasi nilai-nilai akhlak secara nyata dan kontekstual. Siswa belajar berpikir kritis, bekerja sama, dan mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai moral seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kesantunan, dan kepedulian secara praktis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa, meskipun menghadapi tantangan, penerapan Problem-Based Learning (PBL) menunjukkan hasil yang positif dalam meningkatkan nilai-nilai akhlak siswa. Pembelajaran lebih relevan dan menarik bagi siswa. Keberhasilan PBL memerlukan dukungan berkelanjutan dari guru dan sekolah untuk mengatasi berbagai kendala serta memastikan semua siswa dapat berpartisipasi secara optimal

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Teppoe, Kecamatan Poleang Timur, Kabupaten Bombana, fokus pada dua hal utama, yaitu pendidikan tentang pengelolaan limbah padi dan pemetaan administrasi desa menggunakan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) dengan melibatkan ibu-ibu PKK sebagai mitra dalam proses pengolahan limbah jerami padi menjadi kompos serta perangkat desa dalam kegiatan pemetaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan membuat kompos berhasil mengubah cara pengelolaan limbah yang sebelumnya dibakar menjadi pupuk organik yang bermanfaat bagi pertanian. Proses fermentasi membutuhkan waktu sekitar 2–3 minggu dan menggunakan EM4 sebagai bahan aktif untuk mempercepat pengomposan. Selain itu, pemetaan administrasi desa dengan menggunakan teknologi geospasial menghasilkan peta digital dan cetak yang akurat, meliputi batas wilayah dusun, fasilitas umum, lahan pertanian yang produktif, serta area penampungan limbah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan aspek lingkungan dan teknologi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola sumber daya desa. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya mendorong penggunaan limbah pertanian secara berkelanjutan, tetapi juga memperkuat manajemen desa menuju transformasi desa yang mandiri dan berbasis teknologi.
