Abstract

This research aims at measuring the contribution of personality, work motivation toward organi-zational commitment and performance among academic staff of a private higher education institution at Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar (Unmas Denpasar). This research uses observational analytic approach, the sampling technique used is saturated sampling by taking all the population as the research sample which is 140 respondents. The analysis technique is using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of the research shows that the personality of the acade-mic staff at Unmas Denpasar does not affect the organizational commitment. The high level of motivation might improve organizational commitment, in addition, personality score and high motivation may im-prove performance of the academic staff at Unmas Denpasar. Nevertheless, organizational commitment of the academic staff does not influence performance. The test of indirect influence shows that the va-riable of organization commitment does not mediate the effect of personality and motivation toward performance.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) play an important role and an asset that must be owned by the organization. This is because HR plays an active role in the process of running an organization to achieve goals. Therefore, optimizing the contribution of employees to the company's mission is very important to maintain effective performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the relationship between servant leadership and work motivation variables with organizational commitment and employee performance at PT. Telkom Access Denpasar. The sample in this study were all permanent employees who worked at several 45 respondents. By using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with the help of the Smart-PLS v.3 programs, the results show that the better the implementation of servant leadership can increase employee commitment to the organization. In addition, it was found that employees who are motivated at work will increase their commitment to the organization. The application of servant leadership is not able to, directly and indirectly, determine employee performance. Other results, increasing employee motivation will improve employee performance, either directly or indirectly through the mediation of organizational commitment. Meanwhile, employee commitment was found to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Untuk mendapatkan karyawan yang berperilaku baik terhadap perusahaan, manajemen perusahaan harus memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Kinerja karyawan, diantaranya adalah karakteristik individu dankepuasan kerja.. Demikian juga dengan perusahaan PT BPR Suar Artha Dharma Kabupaten Badung dalam usaha meningkatkan kinerjanya telah memperhatikan kedua variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jumlah responden sebagai popu;asi sebanyak 47 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yakni sampel jenuh sehigga seluruh sampelnya berjumlah 47 orang dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda, determinasi dan uji f serta uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa Karakteristik Individu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Ini artinya semakin baik karakteristik individu maka kinerja karyawan semakin meningkat demikian sebaliknya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Ini artinya semakin tinggi Kepuasan Kerja, maka Kinerja Karyawan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Sumber Daya Manusia merupakan salah satu dari beberapa unsur yang digunakan oleh organisasi dalam menjalankan kegiatannya. Keberhasilan suatu perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuannya tidak hanya bergantung kepada sarana dan prasarana yang ada tetapi juga bergantung pada kinerja karyawannya. Etos kerja merupakan seperangkat perilaku kerja positif yang berakar pada kerjasama yang kental, keyakinan yang fundamental, disertai komitmen yang total pada paradigma kerja yang integral. Kinerja karyawan dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan juga dipengaruhi oleh stres kerja karena faktor stres kerja memegang peranan yang amat penting dalam pelaksanaan tugas sehari-hari para karyawan. Stres Kerja merupakan suatu kondisi ketegangan yang mempengaruhi emosi, proses berfikir dan kondisi seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh etos kerja dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada LPD Desa Adat Seminyak Kuta Badung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda serta uji instrumen (validitas dan reliabilitas), uji asumsi klasik (normalitas, multikolinieritas dan heteroskedastisitas). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa variabel etos kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada LPD Desa Adat Seminyak. Variabel stres kerja berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada LPD Desa Adat Seminyak

Abstract

Performance is a concept that shows the relationship between work performance and the time unit needed to produce certain products and services from a workforce. The success of employee performance will directly shape the success of the organization. This study aims to test and obtain empirical evidence of the effect of human resource development, work discipline and work climate on employee performance at The Housing Office of Residential Area and Land of Denpasar City. The population of this research is 92 peoples. Sampling in this study using a saturated sampling technique (total sampling) where the entire population is a sample. This research was conducted at The Housing Office of Residential Area and Land of Denpasar City . The data was collected through a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is the instrument test, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. The results showed that human resource development, work discipline and work climate had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at The Housing Office of Residential Area and Land of Denpasar City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career development, work discipline, and organizational commitment on employee performance. This research was conducted at Manggis District Office of Karangasem Regency.This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of career development, work discipline, and organizational commitment on employee performance at Manggis District Office of Karangasem Regency. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and the sampling method used was the census method. Testing the research hypothesis using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The results showed that (1) career development partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (2) work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (3) organizational commitment partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of these studies, leaders need to make policies concerning the improvement of career development, work discipline, and organizational commitment to optimize employee performance.

Abstract

KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma is currently experiencing problems with increasing employee turnover rates, where in the last five years the employee turnover rate of KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma has exceeded the tolerable standard. The high employee turnover rate will certainly lead to a decrease in the performance of KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma in serving customers considering that the outgoing employees are senior and experienced employees who can be relied on in their work. The high level of employee turnover at KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma may be due to the low organizational commitment of employees, work motivation has not been maximized and compensation is still considered not in accordance with the workload carried out by employees. This study aims to examine and obtain empirical evidence of the effect of organizational commitment, work motivation, and compensation on employee turnover intention at KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma in Pengotan Village, Bangli. The population used in this study were all employees at KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma in Pengotan Village, Bangli as many as 46 people. The method of determining the sample uses a saturated sample technique, so that the entire population is used as a sample taken using a random sampling technique. The analytical tools used are multiple linear regression analysis, analysis of determination, and t test. The results of this study indicate that organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention at KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention at KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma. And compensation has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention at KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma. It is recommended to KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma to hold activities that make employees excited and happy at work such as holding joint recreation for all employees of KSU Swadana Giri Kusuma.

Abstract

Performance is a real behavior that is generated by each employee as a performance achievement that is generated according to their role in the company. Good performance is influenced by several factors such as leadership, communication, organizational culture. This study aims to examine the influence of leadership, communication, organizational culture on employee performance at the Department of Industry and Trade, Gianyar Regency, located on Jl. Erlangga Civik Center Gianyar. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. The sample used in this study were 35 employees at the Industry and Trade Service of Gianyar Regency. This study uses multiple linear analysis methods, Classical Assumption Test, F test, T test with analysis tools, namely SPSS version 25 For Windows. The results showed that leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, communication has a positive effect on employee performance and organizational culture has a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Employee performance in general is a manifestation of work performed by employees which is usually used as a basis or reference for evaluating employees within an organization. This study aims to test and obtain empirical evidence of the influence of the work climate, competence and individual characteristics on employee performance at the UPTD Regional Tax and Retribution Services of Bali Province in Denpasar City. The population in this study were 79 employees. The sample in this study was 79 people, namely the entire population representing the sample. This research was conducted at the UPTD of Bali Provincial Tax and Retribution Services in Denpasar City. The results showed that the work climate, competence and individual characteristics had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires. The analysis technique used is instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis, multiple correlation analysis, determination analysis and hypothesis testing (t test). The results showed that the work climate, competence and individual characteristics had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the UPTD Regional Tax and Retribution Services for the Province of Bali in Denpasar City. Future research can develop this by using other variables which theoretically have an influence on performance.

Abstract

Demi terwujudnya visi dan misi, instansi berupaya meningkatkan kinerja pegawai agar dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada masyarakat. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan adalah beban kerja, komunikasi dan kemampuan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara beban kerja, komunikasi dan kemampuan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Gianyar. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 pegawai di Bidang Kesehatan Hewan dan Kesehatan Masyarakat Veteriner pada Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Gianyar. Dalam penelitian ini pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode sampling jenuh yaitu sampel yang menggunakan seluruh anggota populasi untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel beban kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, variabel komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan kemampuan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Gianyar.
