Abstract

Madrasah that is integrated with the dynamics of pesantren in the demand to maintain Islamic values while meeting the National Education Standards in order to maintain the title of superior accreditation. This condition requires targeted quality management as a strategic step so that the quality of education remains guaranteed systemically and sustainably. This study applied a qualitative approach with a single case study plan. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document reviews involving madrasah heads, deputy madrasah heads, educators, students, and pesantren managers. The data analysis process refers to the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings of the study show that the desire for superior accreditation is formed through the integration between the formal mutual guarantee system and the pesantren culture that gives birth to a sustainable mutual culture. The integration between academic governance and the internalization of religious values is a key factor in maintaining consistency between institutional elements. Theoretically, this study offers an integrative model that combines the SPMI structural approach and the cultural TQM approach in the context of pesantren-based madrasas. Practically, the results of this study provide an operational framework for madrasah leaders and pesantren managers in harmonizing quality planning, cultural discipline-based supervision, and evaluation that includes academic aspects and character building. The integration between the formal madrasah system and the culture of pesantren is the main determinant in maintaining quality consistency and maintaining superior accreditation in an adaptive and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the revitalization of religious culture as a strategy for character building among students at MA Mambaul Ulum Paiton in facing the challenges of the Society 5.0 era. The focus of the research is directed at how religious values are internalized within school life, the role of educational actors in this process, and its impact on shaping students’ attitudes and behavior. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving the principal, teachers, homeroom teachers, and students as the main informants. The data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the revitalization of religious culture plays a significant role in shaping students’ character through the integration of religious values into learning activities and daily school life. Religious culture functions not merely as a normative symbol but develops into a value system that fosters students’ discipline, responsibility, and moral awareness. The success of this process is supported by the exemplary conduct of school actors, consistency in habituation practices, and adaptation to technological developments without abandoning religious values. These findings imply that strengthening students’ character in the Society 5.0 era requires a holistic approach that integrates religious culture with social and technological dynamics. This study is expected to serve as a reference for educational institutions in designing contextual and sustainable character-building strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of personalized marketing in education and its impact on emotional engagement and student loyalty. The study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid, an Islamic boarding school-based institution that emphasizes personalized services, effective communication, and a relevant curriculum. The study used a qualitative case study approach, with teachers, students, and parents as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and then analyzed thematically with triangulation to ensure validity. The results show that personalization, which tailors interactions, academic guidance, and extracurricular services to individual student characteristics, can create meaningful learning experiences, increase attention, foster feelings of appreciation, and strengthen emotional engagement. This approach also encourages students' social engagement in the school community and reduces the risk of disengagement. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating personalized interactions with Islamic boarding school culture to build stable, supportive, and sustainable educational relationships, as well as to strengthen the relationships among students, teachers, and the institution. This study contributes to the development of the concept of personalized marketing in the educational context, particularly in Islamic boarding schools, by highlighting the design, implementation, and significance of personalization strategies to increase student loyalty and retention.
