Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles and learning motivation on students' learning outcomes in the Business Services subject at SMK Negeri Mojoagung. The study was motivated by variations in learning outcomes, some students performing well while others struggled, allegedly linked to lecture-dominated teaching, limited use of learning media, and insufficient accommodation of students' diverse learning styles. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory type and an ex post facto design. The population consisted of Grade X MPLB students, with a sample of 104 students determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring VAK learning styles and learning motivation, and documentation of end-of-semester scores measuring learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. Results showed VAK learning styles positively and significantly influenced learning outcomes (t = 5.923, p = 0.000). Learning motivation also had a positive and significant influence (t = 7.067, p = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced learning outcomes (F = 49.007, p = 0.000). The coefficient of determination of 0.493 indicated both variables explained 49.3 percent of the variation in learning outcomes, while 50.7 percent was explained by other factors. This study supports Cognitive Learning Theory, emphasizing the role of students' internal factors in learning. Teachers need to accommodate students' learning styles and enhance learning motivation to improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to develop a website-based interactive learning media, named CommuLearn, on the Organizational Information and Communication System element for Grade X Office Management students at SMK Adhikawacana, and to analyze user acceptance through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Method: This Research and Development (R&D) study employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The media, accessible via both smartphones and laptops, was trialed on 36 students of Grade X Office Management 2. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and a TAM-based questionnaire, then analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. Results: The media was declared highly feasible, with material-expert and media-expert validation scores of 100% each (Very Feasible category). User acceptance reached an average of 78.69% (Accepted category), comprising Perceived Ease of Use (78.75%), Perceived Usefulness (77.92%), Attitude Toward Use (80.93%), Behavioral Intention to Use (81.67%), and Actual System Use (74.44%). Behavioral Intention to Use recorded the highest score, whereas Actual System Use recorded the lowest. Novelty: This study integrates website-based learning media development with a TAM-based acceptance analysis on the Organizational Information and Communication System element at the vocational level, a combination that remains scarcely examined. The findings confirm that the media is feasible and well accepted, making it suitable as a supporting medium in the learning process.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has encouraged higher education institutions to implement digital learning systems through e-learning. Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) utilizes Sinau Digital as its online learning platform to support teaching and learning activities. However, the level of student acceptance and actual use of Sinau Digital still needs to be evaluated to identify the factors influencing its successful implementation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Sinau Digital e-learning among students of the Office Administration Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study employed a quantitative research approach using a survey method. The population consisted of 1,149 students from the Office Administration Education Study Program enrolled in 2022–2025. A total of 297 respondents were selected using the Slovin formula with a random sampling technique. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach by evaluating both the measurement model and the structural model. The findings indicate that Perceived Ease of Use has a positive and significant effect on Perceived Usefulness (T = 0.849; p < 0.001). Furthermore, Perceived Ease of Use has a positive and significant effect on Intention to Use (T = 0.900; p < 0.001), while Intention to Use significantly influences Usage Behavior (T = 0.786; p < 0.001). However, Perceived Usefulness does not have a significant effect on Intention to Use (T = 0.000; p = 0.998). These findings suggest that perceived ease of use is the primary factor driving students' intention to use the Sinau Digital platform, whereas perceived usefulness does not directly increase their intention to use it. Therefore, improving the platform's usability, navigation, and overall user experience is essential to enhance the acceptance and sustainable use of e-learning at Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

Abstract

Abstrak: Riset ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa E-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi persuratan untuk membantu proses pembelajaran di SMKN Mojoagung kelas X OTKP. Riset ini menggunakan R&D dengan model 4D yaitu Define, Design, Develop, tetapi tidak sampai Disseminate karena..keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Terdapat 20 responden yaitu siswa kelas X OTKP 3. Produk dari riset pengembangan ini diuji oleh ahli materi, media, dan bahasa. Dari hasil validasi diketahui bahwa kelayakan materi dari validasi ahli materi sebesar 90 persen, validasi ahli grafis 96,3 persen, dan validasi ahli bahasa 80 persen. Dari hasil validasi ketiga validator tersebut diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 88,7 persen dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil respons siswa memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 78,8 persen dengan kategori positif di mana dapat dinyatakan bahwa E-modul ini dapat digunakan untuk menunjang pembelajaran materi persuratan. Abstract: This research aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) E-modules on correspondence materials to assist the learning process at SMKN Mojoagung class X OTKP. This research uses R&D with a 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, but did not reach Disseminate due to time and cost limitations. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative. Twenty respondents, namely students of class X OTKP 3, participated in the study. The product of this research was validated by materials, media, and language experts. The results reveal that the feasibility of the product from the materials expert was 90 percent; from graphic expert was 96.3 percent; and from linguist expert was 80 percent. From these results, it obtains an average of 88.7 percent with a very decent category. The results of student responses obtain an average of 78.8 percent with a positive category. So, it is concluded that this E-module can be used to support learning correspondence materials.

Abstract

Digital archive management is an increasingly essential competence for lecturers and teachers amid the rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, yet educators’ literacy and practical skills in designing AI-based digital archive instructional media remain limited. This Community Service (PKM) activity aimed to conduct a Workshop on Designing AI-Based Digital Archive Instructional Media and to evaluate its effectiveness on participants’ understanding and perception. The activity was held on 2–3 July 2026 and attended by 38 lecturers/teachers from 32 institutions. Evaluation used a one-group pretest-posttest design accompanied by a 10-item perception questionnaire (1–4 scale), analyzed using paired difference tests, effect size, N-Gain, and Cronbach’s Alpha reliability. Results showed a significant increase in understanding scores from a mean of 79.74 to 90.79 (p < .001; Cohen’s d = 0.99; N-Gain = 0.52, medium category). The perception instrument showed high reliability (α = .868) with a composite satisfaction score of 91.71 out of 100, although no significant correlation was found between perception and the magnitude of understanding gains. The activity proved effective both cognitively and affectively and may serve as a sustainable training model for educators integrating AI into digital archive management.
