Abstract

This research was about three attitude models on the use of QR Code in EFL independent learning at Cordova elementary school. The design of this study was qualitative phenomenology. This study use semi-structured interview from four selected students to collect the data. Participants were selected using purposive sampling with the criteria that had been prepared by the researcher. This research aimed to find out three attitude models based on Spooncer (1992) theory, the occurred of students feeling, beliefs, and behaviours. First, the students feelings there were two main points advantages and attractiveness. Advantages regards to ease and learning media. Attractiveness regards to interesting and fun. Secondly, the students beliefs there were two main points improve ability and preferences. Improve ability regards to soft skill and hard skill. Preferences regards to agreements of students. Last, the students behave there were one main point about experiences of students. The Experiences regards to problems of media, problems of tools, and personality problems. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers will try to implement digital-based learning in schools and facilitate students with the internet and media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perbandingan protokol routing dinamis Routing Information Protocol (RIP) dan Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) dalam mendukung akses kelas virtual berbasis Local Area Network (LAN). Studi kasus dilakukan pada akses kelas virtual berbasis Moodle di SMK PGRI 11 Ciledug, Kota Tangerang. Evaluasi kinerja kedua protokol dilakukan menggunakan parameter Quality of Service (QoS) seperti throughput, delay, packet loss, dan jitter, serta waktu konvergensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa protokol OSPF lebih unggul dibandingkan RIP, khususnya dalam hal waktu konvergensi yang lebih cepat dan nilai QoS yang lebih baik. Protokol OSPF menghasilkan throughput lebih tinggi, delay lebih rendah, serta tingkat packet loss dan jitter yang lebih kecil dibandingkan RIP. Dengan demikian, OSPF lebih efektif digunakan untuk mendukung akses kelas virtual yang membutuhkan stabilitas dan kecepatan dalam pengiriman data. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk penerapan OSPF pada lingkungan jaringan pendidikan berbasis LAN.

Abstract

This aiming For know influence method discussion and differentiated strategies to ability speak student in Indonesian language learning at Sendawar State High School. Background study This leave from low participation active and ability speak student in activity learning, which is suspected influenced by the approach lack of learning varied and not consider difference characteristics students. The method used in study This is quantitative with approach experiment quasi -experimental design, involving two classes as group experiments and controls . Instruments study in the form of test ability talk and sheet observation activity students. Research results show that implementation method combined discussion with a differentiated strategy give influence positive and significant to improvement ability speak students. Findings This show that approach adaptive and participatory learning capable increase skills communication oral student in a way effective in context Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

Poverty is a very complexity problem, that causes by intern factor (individual, family, or community) and extern factor (social, politic, law and economic condition). Because of that, government must to concern to ward off it by means of (poverty reduction strategy paper-PRSP). PRSP considered that poverty as a multidimention problems, it means tackling of poverty act through all aspect. To arrange PRSP, researcher use descriptive method with analysis-descriptive design. It give sketch the relationship of phenomenons poverty in Kediri residence. From the result, can make inspection, arrange point of view and mission, policy and strategy to ward off of poverty.

Abstract

This paper discusses the control design of corn fodder. The problem with corn fodder is that temperature and humidity and inappropriate lighting can trigger the growth of mold. The ultraviolet light illumination control system method uses a fuzzy logic method to control ultraviolet light illumination. So, it affects temperature and humidity, as well as growth of corn fodder. The results of the comparison of the Mamdani fuzzy control system using Matlab and Arduino applications to control corn fodder illumination obtained defuzification values (0.5, 2.5, 6.5). The implementation of the Mamdani fuzzy logic control system affects the light, temperature and humidity, as well as the height and weight of the corn fodder with a definition error of 0.5%. Lighting 5 hours/day on a full spectrum grow light (380nm-730nm) with a light intensity of 2053lux, for 14 days produces a temperature of 27˚C and humidity of 93%, fodder height reaches 28cm with a total weight of 124 grams. Meanwhile, the grow light spectrum (450nm-460nm) with a light intensity of 1462.5 lux produces a temperature of 28˚C and humidity of 85%, the height of the fodder reaches 26.5cm with a total weight of 120 grams. Optimum lighting results were obtained in 5 hours of light with a full spectrum grow light lamp with a light intensity of 2053lux, for 14 days resulting in a temperature of 27˚C and humidity of 93%, the height of the fodder reached 28cm with a total weight of 124 grams. The contribution of fodder research is used as a technological reference for farmers in maintaining national food security.

Abstract

Medicinal plants were contextual to study during Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The purpose of this study was to measure Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of medicinal plants and analyze the relevance of science learning during new normal COVID-19. The research method used descriptive quantitative with survey techniques carried out in 2019 and 2020. The instrument used12 items test question with a sample 104 vocational students. The results showed that the students' LOTS scores were higher (2.32) than students’ HOTS (1.69).Analysis showed that the topic of medicinal plants and the relevant environment during the new normal period of COVID-19. The conclusion from this study that the LOTS score was higher than HOTS and knowledge of medicinal plants became relevant during the new normal COVID-19.

Abstract

Wastewater management played a crucial role in maintaining environmental cleanliness and health, where water pumps held a vital position. However, manually operated pump systems were often inefficient and posed potential health risks if failures occurred. This research aimed to design and create a miniature plant simulator for wastewater pumps utilizing a relay contactor control panel. This miniature plant was specifically designed to automatically simulate the operation of a wastewater pump system, offering a solution to replace the often inefficient manual methods. The research process commenced with identifying the main components required, such as a three-phase induction motor, contactors, thermal overload relays, and associated sensors. Subsequently, the design and construction of both the simulator and its control panel were meticulously carried out. Implementation involved comprehensive testing of each component's functionality and the overall system's integrity, including individual component testing and evaluation under simulated system failure conditions like overload and no flow. The research results clearly demonstrated that the built miniature plant simulator functioned effectively as expected. The automatic control system employing relay contactors proved efficient and safe in operating the water pump, capable of managing various water levels and detecting abnormal conditions such as overload and no flow. This miniature plant could serve not only as a valuable learning tool but also as a promising prototype for the development of larger and more complex wastewater pump control systems in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja perusahaan menggunakan metode Economic Value Added (EVA), Return On Asset (ROA) terhadap return saham pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2021-2023. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2021-2023. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria yang tekah di tentukan, maka diperoleh 14 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria sampel dengan 3 tahun peneleitian, sehingga diperoleh total data sampel yaitu sebanyak 42. Alat pengolahan data dalam penelitia ini menggunakan E Views 12, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EVA dan ROA secara parsial dan simultan tidak berpengaruh terhadap return saham.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry's contribution to East Java's economy is high. Still, the trend continues to decline, while the contribution of the trade, hotel, and restaurant sectors is increasing. This indicates that there has been a shift in the economic structure from industry to trade. This research uses a quantitative approach based on the classification carried out by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and the World Bank. The results of secondary data from Central BPS and East Java Province BPS show that East Java Province is categorized as a semi-industrial area. East Java's industrial development is experiencing a decline from the "semi- industrialization” stage to the "towards industrialization” stage. This is an early indication of a decline in industrialization or deindustrialization in East Java. If the stages of industrialization in East Java have decreased, but not for commodity industrialization (the ratio of the manufacturing industry's contribution to the commodity sector). The value of commodity industrialization continues to increase. The commodity sector includes agriculture, mining, industry, construction, electricity, gas & drinking water.

Abstract

This study investigates the types and pragmatic functions of deixis in One Direction’s song “Night Changes.”Using a qualitative analysis content method, the research applies Levinson’s (1983) typology of person, time, place, discourse, and social deixis. The data were collected from the official lyrics and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s (1994) model of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. A total of 39 deictic expressions were identified, consisting of person deixis (22 instances), time deixis (8), place deixis (4), discourse deixis (3), and social deixis (2). The findings show that person deixis is the most frequent, highlighting the narrative perspective and interpersonal involvement between the singer and the listener, while social deixis is the least frequent, reflecting the informal tone of the lyrics. This study demonstrates how deixis constructs narrative flow and emotional engagement in pop lyrics, with practical use in EFL classrooms and translation studies.
