Abstract

The study aimed to improve the learning outcome of Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) through the Discussion Method on Qurban and Aqiqah (Sacrifice and Aqiqah) material in Class X at MAN 2 Bandung. The research method utilized Classroom Action Research. The findings revealed that the teacher's activity scored 78 out of a maximum of 100, categorized as good, yet not optimal due to the predefined indicator score of 80. Similarly, students' activities scored 75, considered good but also below the preset indicator of 80. Test results showed an improvement in learning outcomes, with 80% of students achieving mastery. However, further improvement is needed as the minimum mastery percentage is not yet reached. The reflection highlighted the need for improvement in classroom management and student engagement. The study suggests providing incentives for cooperative group work and addressing classroom disruptions to enhance learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi pengembangan membaca peserta didik dalam kegiatan literasi membaca sekaligus mengukur tingkat kelancaran membaca yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif yaitu dengan observasi secara langsung di kelas dan melakukan wawancara terhadap kepala madrasah. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik, guru kelas, dan kepala madrasah MI Matlul Athfal. Hasilpenelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang belum bisa membaca dengan benar, minat membaca pada diri peserta didik juga masih kurang, hal tersebut membuat kurang lancarnya membaca pada diri peserta didik. Hal ini dapat diatasi dengan mengembangkan minat membaca peserta didik dengan kegiatan literasi. Efektifitas penerapan kegiatan literasi untuk mengembangkan minat membaca pada peserta didik dapat dilihat ketika proses kegiatanpembelajaran berlangsung

Abstract

Low Qur'an reading skills can be caused by several factors, such as lack of teacher competence, limited learning time, ineffective learning methods, and an unsupportive family environment. This study aims to determine the Qur'an reading skills of fifth grade students of MI Al-Misbah, Bandung Regency using the Al Baghdadi method. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, each cycle consisting of two actions with four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection with a mix method approach, namely qualitative and quantitative. Data were collected through observation, reading tests, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase after applying the Al Baghdadi learning method, in cycle I, the classical completion rate of students reached 42% with a sufficient category. However, in cycle II, the classical completion rate increased to 81% with a very good category. It can be concluded that the use of the Al Baghdadi learning method is effective in improving the Qur'an reading skills of fifth grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah.

Abstract

The difference in priorities for sports education between religious universities and general universities with dedicated sports faculties is a natural occurrence. This is evidenced by the limited credit hours allocated to sports courses and the distinct characteristics of students at the outset, who tend to dislike sports, citing reasons such as fatigue and boredom. This study aims to examine the impact of sports game creation assignments on the creativity of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education program. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of the study are 100 students enrolled in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga for the academic year 2023–2024. Data collection techniques include surveys and interviews. The findings reveal that approximately 80% of students became more enthusiastic, confident, challenged, creative, and quicker at making risky decisions. However, not all students experienced the same outcomes, as other factors influencing the learning process may have hindered their creativity. These factors could be explored in future research.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini guna meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) menggunakan strategi firing line. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung dengan dua siklus, dimana pada masing-masing siklus meliputi beberapa langkah, diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini yang dijadikan sebagai subjek yaitu siswa kelas V-B MI Plus Darul Hufadz Jatinangor yang berjumlah 38 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yakni strategi firing line dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI), hal tersebut terlihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa serta persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada tahap pra siklus sebesar 36,53 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 0%, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 71,37 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 63,16%, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 81,79 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 84,21%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membentuk solusi baru untuk memecahkan permasalahan dalam aktivitas pembelajaran terutama pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI).

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pembinaan prestasi olahraga bola voli dengan pendekatan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode gabungan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian antara lain pelatih, pengurus dan atlet Ikatan Volleyball Mahasiswa UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pemberian angket kepada pelatih, pengurus dan atlet. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut sudut pandang pengurus dan pelatih diketahui nilai tertinggi yaitu kategori sangat setuju sebesar 70,8% yang artinya pengkategorian baik. Sudut pandang atlet diketahui nilai tertinggi yaitu kategori sangat setuju sebesar 63,7% yang artinya pengkategorian baik. Sudut pandang sarana dan prasarana diketahui nilai tertinggi yaitu kategori sangat setuju sebesar 53,6% yang artinya pengkategorian cukup. Sudut pandang organisasi diketahui nilai tertinggi yaitu kategori sangat setuju sebesar 67,0% yang artinya pengkategorian baik. Sudut lingkungan diketahui nilai tertinggi yaitu kategori sangat setuju sebesar 62,9% yang artinya pengkategorian baik. Sudut pandang manajemen diketahui nilai tertinggi yaitu kategori sangat setuju sebesar 46,8% yang artinya pengkategorian cukup. Sudut pandang pendanaan diketahui nilai tertinggi yaitu kategori sangat setuju sebesar 34,3% yang artinya pengkategorian cukup. Pembinaan prestasi Ikatan Volleyball Mahasiswa UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung berada dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

This research describes the influence of the editing method on Arabic speaking skills in fifth grade elementary school. Low speaking skills are caused by several factors, one of which is the application of less effective learning methods. Students' speaking skills can be improved by improving learning methods. There are many interactive learning methods that can be applied, researchers apply the edutainment method as a form of treatment in the experimental class and the jigsaw method as a comparison method in the control class. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used were tests and documentation. This research was carried out over four meetings. The population in this study were all students at SD IT Bina Insan Qur'ani. The sample in this study was class V-A with a total of 23 students, and class V-B with a total of 22 students. The results of the research show that there is a difference in the average value of improvement in Arabic speaking skills for students who use the edutainment method and students who use the jigsaw method.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive development of an interactive Pop-Up Book designed as an educational tool for Indonesian narrative texts, specifically tailored for fourth-grade students at the Islamic Elementary School of Bahrul Ihsan in Bandung City. Employing a rigorous Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the study utilized the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to ensure a systematic and empirical approach. Data was gathered through a variety of methods, including interviews with classroom teachers, validation questionnaires from media and material experts, and direct feedback from both the fourth-grade teacher and students following the media's implementation. The results indicate that the learning medium possesses high validity and practicality. Validation from experts was highly positive, with media experts assigning a remarkable rating of 99% and material experts rating it at 93%, both categorized as "Very Feasible." Similarly, evaluations from the implementing teacher and students were highly encouraging, with scores of 81% and 93% respectively, also classifying the medium as "Very Feasible." Therefore, this study demonstrates that the Pop-Up Book is an effective and engaging tool for enhancing student interest and promoting active learning. It successfully addresses the limitations of traditional, monotonous textbooks and aligns seamlessly with the pedagogical characteristics of Phase B students within the Merdeka Curriculum. This research makes a significant, evidence-based contribution to the advancement of innovative educational media for Indonesian language instruction.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a problem regarding the low speaking skills of students in the learning process in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MIN 2 Bandung City. The objectives are (1) to find out students' speaking skills before applying the Game Based Learning learning model  in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MI Negeri 2 Bandung City, (2) to find out the process of applying the Game Based Learning learning model  in improving students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MI Negeri 2 Bandung City in each cycle and (3) to find out speaking skills students after applying the Game Based Learning  learning model in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MI Negeri 2 Bandung City at the end of the cycle. Using  the Mixed Method approach, the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method is carried out in two cycles. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in speaking skills in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, classical completeness only reached 52% with an average of 62.59. After the action was taken, the results increased with classical completeness of 67% with an average score of 72.04 in cycle 1. Then it increased again in cycle 2 with classical completeness reaching 85% with an average score of 77.41. Thus, it can be concluded that the Game Based Learning learning model  can improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects in grades IV-C MIN 2 Bandung City. Keywords: Game Based Learning Model, Speaking Skills

Abstract

This research began with observations in Class IV in the History of Islamic Culture subject, where it was found that the teacher's voice was difficult to hear, the teacher often left the classroom to chat and often played with gadgets during the lesson. This causes students to lose motivation. This research aims to determine teachers' teaching styles and students' learning motivation and the relationship between the two. Teaching style indicators include voice variations, the concentration of attention, silence, gaze contact, body movements, teaching positions, behavior, and habits. Indicators of learning motivation include the desire to succeed, encouragement in learning, hopes and aspirations, appreciation for learning, interesting activities, and a conducive learning environment. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant relationship between teaching style and learning motivation. The research method uses a quantitative approach with correlation techniques, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Questionnaires were distributed to 61 respondents in Class IV-A and IV-B. Data analysis techniques include normality, homogeneity, linearity, and correlation tests, with validity and reliability tested first. The research results show that the data is normally distributed, homogeneous, and linear. The teacher's teaching style and student learning motivation are both in the perfect category. The relationship between teacher teaching style and student learning motivation shows a positive result of 0.333, although in the low category
