Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning through the use of Quizizz-based digital media at SMAN 1 Tanah Luas. The background of this study is based on the low level of involvement and understanding of some students in the PAI learning process, which is caused by the use of learning methods that are still conventional and less varied. This condition has an impact on low student learning motivation and less than optimal achievement of learning objectives. Along with the development of technology and the characteristics of students in the digital era, learning innovations are needed that are able to provide a more interesting, interactive learning atmosphere, and are in accordance with student needs. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design to measure the effect of using Quizizz-based digital media on student understanding. The research subjects were grade X students of SMAN 1 Tanah Luas who were selected as the research sample. Data collection techniques were carried out through pretests and posttests to measure improvements in student learning outcomes, and supported by observation and documentation to obtain a comprehensive picture of the learning process. Quizizz media was used as a means of evaluation and reinforcement of Islamic Religious Education material, by presenting interactive questions that encourage active student participation in the learning process. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student understanding after the implementation of Quizizz-based digital media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This was demonstrated by an increase in the average value of student learning outcomes as well as increased student enthusiasm and activeness during the learning process. The use of Quizizz not only helped students better understand Islamic Religious Education material but also created a fun and healthy competitive learning atmosphere. Thus, Quizizz-based digital media has proven effective in improving student understanding and presenting Islamic Religious Education learning that is more engaging, interactive, and relevant to the characteristics of learners in the digital era.

Abstract

Viral culture and student a qualitative study of behavior of Nurdin Hamzah University student following trends on TikTok. This research examines the viral cultural phenomenon on the TikTok platform and how it influences the behavior of Nurdin Hamzah University students. Using a qualitative approach and the framework of Agenda Setting Theory, this study aims to understand the motivations, perceptions, and impacts of student participation in the viral TikTok trend on their self-identity and social interactions as students. The results of this research show that TikTok plays a significant role in shaping social norms and behavior as Nurdin Hamzah University students, who consider participation in viral trends as part of their current identity and the need for social belonging. These findings underline the importance of attention from the campus and related stakeholders to the impact of social media, especially the current TikTok application, on the social behavior and character and culture formation of students, especially at Nurdin Hamzah University.   Budaya viral dan mahasiswa studi kualitatif tentang perilaku mahasiswa Universitas Nurdin Hamzah mengikuti trend TikTok. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang fenomena budaya viral di platform TikTok dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku mahasiswa Universitas Nurdin Hamzah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kerangka Teori Agenda Setting, studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami motivasi, persepsi, dan dampak partisipasi mahasiswa dalam tren viral TikTok terhadap identitas diri dan interaksi sosial mereka sebagai mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TikTok berperan signifikan dalam membentuk norma sosial dan perilaku sebagai mahasiswa Universitas Nurdin Hamzah, yang menganggap partisipasi dalam tren viral sebagai bagian dari identitas kekinian dan kebutuhan akan social belonging. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya perhatian dari pihak kampus dan pemangku kepentingan terkait terhadap dampak media sosial terutama pada aplikasi TikTok saat ini dalam perilaku sosial dan pembentukan karakter serta budaya mahasiswa terutama di Universitas Nurdin Hamzah.

Abstract

Stres akademik telah menjadi fenomena yang mengakar di kalangan mahasiswa, berdampak signifikan pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan pencapaian akademik. Dalam konteks ini, resiliensi berperan sebagai faktor protektif yang memungkinkan individu untuk beradaptasi dan bangkit dari tekanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh mindfulness (kesadaran penuh) terhadap tingkat resiliensi pada mahasiswa yang mengalami stres akademik. Penelitian kuantitatif eksplanatif ini melibatkan 250 mahasiswa dari berbagai universitas di Indonesia yang teridentifikasi mengalami tingkat stres akademik sedang hingga tinggi berdasarkan skala *Perceived Stress Scale-10 (PSS-10)*. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan dua instrumen utama: Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) untuk mengukur mindfulness dan *Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-25)* untuk mengukur resiliensi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mindfulness memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi (β = 0.673, p < 0.001), menjelaskan 45.3% varians dalam skor resiliensi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa praktik mindfulness, seperti kemampuan untuk mengamati pengalaman internal tanpa menghakimi dan tidak bereaksi berlebihan, dapat menjadi fondasi dalam membangun ketahanan psikologis. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya integrasi pelatihan mindfulness ke dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling kampus sebagai intervensi berbasis bukti untuk meningkatkan resiliensi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan akademik yang penuh tekanan.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has influenced various aspects of education, including Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools. One of the challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools is adapting teaching methods to the characteristics of students in the digital age without losing traditional values. This educational service activity aims to utilize educational social media based on podcasts to support Fiqh learning, particularly thaharah material, in Islamic boarding schools. The method used is a participatory educational service approach with an implementative model that actively involves students and educators in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and interviews, which are analyzed descriptively. The results of the activity show that the use of podcasts contributes positively to improving students' understanding of Fiqh thaharah and increasing their involvement in the learning process. Thus, educational podcasts can be an effective supporting medium for Fiqh learning in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively describe and analyze the design and implementation strategies for integrating the Salafiyah Dayah curriculum and Formal Diniyah Education (PDF) at Dayah Babussalam Al Hanafiyah. In line with the demands of formal recognition and globalization, traditional educational institutions such as dayah are faced with the challenge of adapting without sacrificing their Islamic identity. Dayah Babussalam Al Hanafiyah has taken a strategic policy by implementing the PDF program since 2015 to integrate the epistemology of tafaqquh fiddin with national curriculum standards. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with the dayah leadership, the head of the PDF, the teaching staff, and students, as well as a curriculum documentation study. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the curriculum integration design strategy was implemented through a collaborative planning and strategic alignment approach involving various stakeholders to formulate a bi-disciplinary curriculum. The integration model implemented encompasses four main pathways: interdisciplinary-substantive (linking science with theological concepts), structural-organizational (implementing a dual schedule system), technological-convergent (using digital media), and affective through the hidden curriculum (internalizing values ​​through daily worship traditions). The implementation of this strategy is supported by visionary leadership that combines Salafiyah values ​​with modern management based on the principles of shura, amanah, and itqan. Furthermore, the effectiveness of this integration has been proven to have a significant impact on improving the holistic competence of students. Based on the competency dimension, students showed improvements in aspects of motivation and self-concept through pride in religious-academic identity, mastery of dual knowledge (yellow books and science), and 21st-century skills including critical thinking, communication, and collaboration through mubahatsah forums. In terms of character, this integration strengthens discipline and social leadership based on Islamic values. This study concludes that the integration model at Dayah Babussalam Al Hanafiyah reflects the evolution from a mono-disciplinary system to a multi-lens educational framework that is adaptive to changing times while remaining firmly grounded in tradition. These findings contribute to the development of a practical model (best practice) for integrative curriculum management in Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effectiveness of creative gymnastics through video on the gross motor development of 5-6 year old children at Syamtalira Bayu State Kindergarten. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of creative gymnastics through video media on the development of gross motor skills of 5-6 year old children. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The sample in this study amounted to 18 children aged 5-6 years and the informants in this study were three class teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that creative gymnastics through video proved effective in supporting the gross motor development of 5-6 year old children. Children showed high enthusiasm in participating in the activities, were able to imitate most of the gymnastics movements shown, and experienced a gradual increase in coordination, balance, agility, and large muscle strength. It also increased children's focus and participation, and made it easier for them to understand the movements through repetition.
