Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana siswa belajar matematika dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan manajemen diri mereka. Salah satu komponen penting yang memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa adalah manajemen diri, yang mencakup pengaturan waktu, motivasi diri, pengelolaan stres dan emosi, dan pengendalian diri. Dalam penelitian Ex Post Facto ini, pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan. Sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari 25 siswa kelas VII A Pondok Pesantren Darus Shalihin Labuhanbatu dipilih menggunakan metode cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner yang terdiri dari 20 item untuk mengukur tingkat manajemen diri siswa dan nilai rapor semester ganjil mereka. Hasil dari regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi penelitian berada di bawah tingkat signifikansi (0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,005) dan nilai t-hitung lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan t-tabel (4,594 lebih besar dari 1,713). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen diri memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

The aiim of this reseairch is to see the influence of self-mainaigement aibilities on students' maithemaitics leairning aichievement. This reseairch is quaisi experiment conducted ait SMP Negeri 2 Raintaiu Utairai FY 2024/2025. This type of reseairch is ex post faicto reseairch. Baised on the results of the daitai ainailysis aind discussion of reseaircher, it is concluded thait the level of self-mainaigement aibility of claiss VII students ait SMP Negeri 2 Raintaiu Utairai is in the high caitegory with ain aiveraige score of 3.67. Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine how students' self-management affects their learning outcomes in mathematics. Time management, self-control, self-motivation, prioritization, and self-reflection are all components of self-management. This research methodology combines a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis. Thirty-four pupils from class VIII3 SMPN 1 Pangkatan made up the research sample. Students used the Cluster Random Sampling technique to determine this. A questionnaire with 30 items to gauge students' self-management and test scores to determine their learning. The outcomes were used to collect data for this study. The data for this study was processed using the SPSS 22.0 program, with paired sample t-tests. The test results show a significant difference between the two variables (t-value = -16.33, significance level = 0.000). With a significance level of 0.000 (less than 0.05). The null hypothesis (H₀) that there is no difference between the two variables is rejected as the significance value is less than 0.05. This implies that there is an impact or relationship between self-management skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of classroom management on the learning outcomes of mathematics in algebra form material. The question is whether there is an influence of classroom management on the results of mathematics learning in algebra form material? This research method uses a descriptive approach with a quantitative method by knowing the value of the influence of classroom management on students' mathematics learning outcomes in algebra form material. Data was obtained using a questionnaire. The written questionnaire instrument consists of 10 questions on the influence of classroom management and 10 questions on the results of students' mathematics learning in algebra form material. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that the value of the influence of classroom management on students' mathematics learning outcomes in the form of material algebra obtained an average percentage of scores of 88.34% and 84.83% in the category of excellent. Meanwhile, the maximum value of the influence of classroom management on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students is 91.72% and 91.37% in the very good category. This shows that the value of the influence of classroom management has a strong relationship with the results of students' mathematics learning in algebra form material.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of the implementation of classroom management with the Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic learning model (VAK) on the results of students' mathematics learning on the material system of linear equations of two variables (SPLDV) in SMPN 2 Rantau Selatan. This study used a quasi-experimental type of research with a pretest-posttest control group design. Data were collected through closed questionnaires and test questions in the form of pre-test and post-test each of which totaled 5 questions for each test—data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the study show that the application of classroom management and the VAK learning model individually and together has a positive and significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The contribution of classroom management and the VAK learning model explains about 73.6% of the variation in student mathematics learning outcomes, according to the coefficient of determination (Adj R2 ) of 0.736. While the rest is influenced by other variables that are not examined by the researcher. This study concludes that classroom management using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning models affects students' mathematics learning outcomes, especially in the context of SPLDV. The implications of these findings guide educational practitioners in improving the effectiveness of mathematics learning in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self-management on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is classified as a quantitative ex post facto type. The instrument used is a self-management questionnaire consisting of 20 statements, as well as odd semester report card data as an indicator to measure students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of simple linear regression indicate that there is an influence of self-management on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of regional education policies to improve the understanding of the Qur'an in public elementary schools in South Labuhanbatu Regency. This policy is based on Regional Regulation No. 10 of 2015 concerning Improving Understanding of the Holy Book. The study used a naturalistic qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation study techniques. The results show that the Qur'an-based education policy is implemented through several main strategies: teacher recruitment based on religious competency, intensive training, the preparation of a standard syllabus, annual work contracts, and the implementation of Qur'an learning outside of main school hours. The success of this program is supported by the synergy between the local government, the Education Office, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, schools, and the community. The analysis shows that this policy is aligned with the principles of strategic management, transformational leadership, and systems theory, despite limitations in funding and teacher capacity. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of regional education policies as a model for improving Qur'an literacy in public elementary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh kemampuan mengelola diri terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara T.A 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan di atas maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tingkat kemampuan mengelola diri siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata nilai 3,67. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan mengelola diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara dengan nilai korelasi (r = 0,450) yang berada pada nilai r = 0,40 – 0,60 yang berarti memiliki Tingkat hubungan yang sedang. Kata kunci: Kemampuan mengelola diri, Prestasi belajar matematika

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of YouTube on student learning activeness and performance in class VIII MTS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Ulumahuam students. This activity was carried out offline. The research subjects were MTS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Ulumahuam students and the sample used amounted to 50 students where 25 participants for the experimental class and 25 participants for the control class. The instrument used is a questionnaire of student activeness and learning performance using YouTube as media and documentation. The analysis techniques used are Normality, Homogeneity, and Hypothesis tests. Based on the results of the research conducted, there is an effect of YouTube on the activeness and performance of student learning with a learning model using YouTube seen from the average value of the questionnaire of student learning activeness and performance, namely with a significant value of 0.000. For hypothesis testing using one-way anova test with significant results of 0.000

Abstract

Gamification-based learning has been increasingly applied as an instructional strategy to enhance students’ engagement in mathematics learning. This study aimed to describe students’ learning motivation and learning quality after the implementation of gamification-based educational games in junior high school mathematics learning. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed involving seventh-grade students at MTs Amalianur Pematang Seleng. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire and mathematics learning tasks integrated into gamification platforms, namely Quizizz and Kahoot. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean scores, score distribution, and categorical interpretation. The results indicate that students’ learning motivation tends to fall within the high category, characterized by increased enthusiasm, active participation, and positive attitudes toward mathematics learning. In addition, students’ learning quality also demonstrates a positive tendency, as reflected in their ability to understand and solve mathematical problems presented through gamified learning activities. Overall, the findings suggest that gamification-based educational games can serve as a supportive instructional approach to foster students’ motivation and learning quality in mathematics classrooms. However, the results are limited to descriptive interpretation and do not imply causal relationships.   Keywords: Gamification, Learning Motivation, Learning Quality, Mathematics
