Abstract

Access and facilities for children with Down syndrome are still very limited, especially in border areas far from urban areas. The remote geographical location becomes an obstacle for parents in utilizing health and educational facilities for children with Down syndrome. This qualitative descriptive research aims to determine the obstacles faced by families in dealing with children with Down syndrome in border areas. Participants in this study were 6 parents of children with Down syndrome who were selected using the purposive sampling method. This research was conducted in one of the Indonesia-Malaysia border areas in West Kalimantan. The research results revealed three (3) themes of parental barriers in dealing with Down syndrome children, such as 1) Family barriers in getting special education for children, 2) Barriers in handling children, and 3) Limited information. Therefore, regional and central government support is very necessary in providing adequate education and health facilities for people with disabilities at the border

Abstract

Abstract: Parents in Purwoasri village have a tendency to choose Islamic boarding schools as a continuation of their children's schools because they are considered capable of producing a generation with a religious character. At Islamic boarding schools, students will study various branches of knowledge through the Yellow Book, the process of understanding which requires learning the science of Nahwu. This research-based community service uses the Empowerment-Based Research Approach which aims to increase children's understanding of nahwu science at the Bustanul Ulum mosque, Sambileren Hamlet, Purwoasri Village, Gumukmas District through the application of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method. The success of accompanying activities in the learning process of nahwu science through the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method includes increasing students' understanding of the basic concepts of nahwu science, increasing the ability to apply Arabic grammar rules in forming sentences, as well as increasing skills in analyzing and parsing Arabic sentence structures. The use of this method provides an interactive and interesting learning atmosphere for students, thereby motivating them to learn. The follow-up that can be taken is by expanding the use of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method in learning nahwu science at various levels of education and integrating it into the formal curriculum. Furthermore, further service activities can be carried out in the form of training for teachers so that they can implement the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method effectively in learning. Keywords: Al-Miftah lil Ulum Method , Mentoring, Nahwu Scienceg, Abstrak: Para Orang tua di desa Purwoasri memiliki kecenderungan memilih pesantren sebagai kelanjutan sekolah putra-putrinya karena dianggap mampu mencetak generasi yang berkarakter agamis. Di Pesantren, para santri akan mempelajari berbagai cabang ilmu melalui kitab kuning yang proses pemahamannya memerlukan pembelajaran ilmu nahwu. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis riset ini menggunakan Pendekatan Empowerment-Based Research (Pemberdayaan Berbasis Riset) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ilmu nahwu anak-anak di masjid Bustanul Ulum Dusun Sambileren Desa Purwoasri Kecamatan Gumukmas melalui penerapan metode Al-Miftah lil Ulum. Keberhasilan kegiatan pendampingan proses pembelajaran ilmu nahwu melalui metode Al-Miftah lil Ulum meliputi peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep dasar ilmu nahwu, peningkatan kemampuan menerapkan aturan-aturan tata bahasa Arab dalam pembentukan kalimat, serta peningkatan keterampilan dalam menganalisis dan mengurai struktur kalimat Arab. Penggunaan metode ini memberikan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik bagi siswa, sehingga memotivasi mereka untuk belajar. Tindak lanjut yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan memperluas penggunaan metode Al-Miftah lil Ulum dalam pembelajaran ilmu nahwu di berbagai tingkatan pendidikan dan mengintegrasikannya ke dalam kurikulum formal. Selanjtnya dapat dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian lanjutan berupa pelatihan untuk guru-guru agar dapat mengimplementasikan metode Al-Miftah lil Ulum secara efektif dalam pembelajaran. Abstract

With this research, it is hoped that empirical evidence will be obtained regarding the influence of Sensory Experience, Emotional Experience, Social Experience on Customer Satisfaction in the service of female ojol drivers in Prigen. Respondents in this study were online-based transportation customers who used the services of 40 female ojol examiners. Purposive Sampling method was used for sampling, namely respondents with the criteria of having purchased using female motorcycle taxi services at least 1 time and the Convinience Sampling method were respondents who were asked to fill out a questionnaire based on the ease of being found and the time allowance they had. It can be concluded in this study that Sensory Experience, Emotional Experience and Social Experience have a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction in the service of female ojol drivers in Prigen. The variable that has the dominant influence is the Social Experience variable.

Abstract

Model Kooperatif adalah model pembelajaran yang menggunakan kelompok kecil yang berjumlah empat sampai enam orang siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa di SDN Gading. Hasil belajar kognitif yang digunakan pada skripsi ini adalah C2, C3,C4,C5 dan C6. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas model kooperatif learning tipe jigsaw. Subjek peneltian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN Gading yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus yang tiap siklus berjumlah satu kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus dilakukan tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data ini meliputi wawancara dengan guru kelas 5 SDN Gading dan lembar observasi keterlaksaan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Hasil belajar kognitif ini dikatakan berhasil tuntas jika nilai tiap siswa telah mencapai 70 %. Dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran model kooperatif learning ini dapat dikatakan berhasil jika telah mencapai 85 %. Rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada siklus1 mencapai 68 % dan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 85 %. Berdasarkan data tersebut Model Pembelajaran Kooperative Tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi tema 7 sub tema 1 di kelas 5 SDN Gading.

Abstract

Learning Social Sciences is a multidisciplinary knowledge where one object of discussion can be seen from many social science perspectives. Observation in outdoor learning activities functions as a way to bring real situations to students. Indirectly as a real example of the social sciences being studied, applying essentialism which "says will beat direct touch". This observation includes the Penataran Temple, Karanganyar Coffee Plantation or De Karanganjar Koffieplantage and Bung Karno's Tomb. Interviews were conducted face to face, direct observation by touching and immortalized in the form of photographs which produced qualitative data. Observational data is processed using social science concepts so that it becomes the theme of integrated Social Science learning

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of global mortality, with deaths from this disease projected to rise to 23.3 million by 2030. Along with the increasing prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, non-invasive methods for measuring blood glucose and cholesterol levels using optical sensors consisting of Near-Infrared (NIR) LEDs and photodiodes have been developed and become a critical aspect of monitoring the health conditions of CVD patients. This study aims to identify the optimal placement of the sensor and the ideal part of the finger to ensure maximum and accurate voltage readings by the photodiode. Data collection was conducted using a transmission measurement mode with 180º variations in sensor placement both vertically and horizontally. In the vertical position, the NIR-LED and photodiode were placed opposite each other above and below the finger, while in the horizontal position, they were placed opposite each other on the left and right sides of the finger. Five subjects participated in the characterization process. The test results showed that the vertical sensor placement yielded an average voltage reading of 0.1543V, higher than the horizontal placement, which recorded an average of 0.0702V. Voltage readings for different parts of the finger—thumb, index finger, middle finger, ring finger, and pinky finger—were recorded as 0.1543V, 0.2889V, 0.2223V, 0.2201V, and 0.2139V, respectively. Thus, it can be concluded from this study that vertical sensor placement on the index finger provides the maximum voltage reading. These findings serve as a reference for determining the optimal sensor position to enhance the accuracy of non-invasive blood glucose and cholesterol measurement devices.

Abstract

Dalam suatu pembelajaran penting juga untuk mengetahui model penbelajaran yang akan digunakan supaya tujuan dari pembelajaran tersebut tercapai. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengimplementasian model Discovery Learning pada hasil belajar sains peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain yang mengacu pada model Kurt Lewin dimana dirancang dengan menggunakan 2 siklus yang memuat dari tahapan perencanaan, tahapan pelaksanaan, tahapan observasi dan tahapan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Pamekasan dengan subjek penelitian adalah kelas X-C dengan total peserta didik 36 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat secara signifikan dari pra-siklus hingga siklus kedua. Pada pra-siklus, nilai siswa rata-rata 73,06 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar 77,78%, kemudian pada siklus pertama nilai siswa rata-rata 76,25 namun ada 16,67% siswa yang belum tuntas, lalu Pada siklus kedua, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam nilai siswa, dengan rata-rata 86,47 dan semua siswa (seratus persen) mencapai KKM secara tuntas. Dari data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning benar-benar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman sains siswa tentang konsep dan keterampilan dalam siklus kedua. Mereka juga lebih aktif mengikuti proses pembelajaran, yang menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini memberikan dampak positif pada peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Keberhasilan penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning ini juga sangat bergantung pada peran aktif guru dan siswa.

Abstract

. Santripreneur memiliki makna santri yang mempunyai usaha sendiri, santri yang berani membuka kegiatan produktif yang mandiri. Atau seorang santri yang berani mengambil risiko untuk menjalankan usaha sendiri dengan memanfaatkan peluang-peluang untuk menciptakan usaha baru atau dengan pendekatan yang inovatif sehingga usaha yang dikelola berkembang menjadi besar dan mandiri dalam menghadapi tantangan-tantangan persaingan. Di Indonesia, bayam dapat tumbuh sepanjang tahun tumbuh di daerah panas dan dingin, tetapi tumbuh lebih subur di dataran rendah pada lahan terbuka yang udaranya gak panas. Keripik bayam merupakan cemilan yang tergolong baru. Anak – anak yang sulit mengkonsumsi sayuran, cemilan ini menjadi alternatif bagi orang tua dalam membantu memenuhi nutrisi pada anak. Dengan adanya inovasi bisnis ini dapat memotivasi wirausahawan baru atau pemula untuk bisa memanfaatkan sumber daya alam seperti tanaman bayam dengan ide inovasi yang berbeda. Abstract

Tarpaulin ponds are the right fish farming container for tilapia enlargement because of its various advantages such as ease of moving, friendliness to soil construction, suitability to the characteristics of tilapia, ease of cleaning the pond and harvesting fish. This community service activity aims to provide education to business groups through cognitive aspects about tilapia enlargement cultivation in tarpaulin ponds in the community in Labuhan Hamlet, Tigaras Village. This community service includes field visits (surveys), counseling, training, evaluation, and monitoring after counseling and training. So far, the target community group in Labuhan Hamlet has been able to design, build their own ponds, and be able to cultivate tilapia using tarpaulin ponds. Furthermore, the results of evaluation and monitoring show that the people of Labuhan Hamlet do not face significant obstacles in cultivating fish in tarpaulin ponds. Some of them even tried to design and build their own tarpaulin ponds independently. This is a strong indication of the openness and acceptance of the Labuhan Hamlet community towards the application of fish farming technology that is still relatively new to the Labuhan Hamlet community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social media in increasing the number of new students at the Private Madrasah Aliyah (MAS) Aisyiyah Medan. Social media is considered an effective tool in promoting educational institutions, given its increasingly important role in everyday life, especially for the younger generation. This study uses a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis to measure the relationship between social media use and the number of new student registrants. The results of the study indicate that social media has a significant positive effect on increasing the number of new students at MAS Aisyiyah Medan. The t-test and F-test prove that the use of social media overall has a significant impact on attracting prospective students, with a regression coefficient of 0.418 and a significance value of 0.000 indicating a strong influence. In addition, the majority of students who registered were 14 years old, with 56% of them being female students. These findings indicate that social media is an effective marketing tool to reach a wider and more diverse audience. This study contributes to the development of social media-based educational marketing strategies in Indonesia, especially for private educational institutions.
