<![CDATA[Panjang Island is one of the islands which is located about 60 KM from the City Center of Batam, Riau Islands. As an area that is not easy to access, various obstacles arise including health problems, especially healthy reproductive health. Reproductive health is defined as a healthy condition in terms of the reproductive system, functions and processes which includes mental, social and cultural health. The main problems of reproductive health in a region include the lack of information on reproductive health and the problem of shifting sexual behavior, especially in adolescents. Data from a study shows that knowledge of reproductive health, especially adolescents, tends to be lacking, namely 57.58% for male adolescents and 62.85% for female adolescents. Teenagers on an island still use limited health information sources and have limited access to regular health checks.]]>

<![CDATA[Kateterisasi jantung merupakan prosedur diagnostik dan intervensi minimal invasif yang digunakan untuk menilai dan menangani berbagai kondisi kardiovaskular, termasuk pada anak. Pelaksanaan perawatan pasca-prosedur di rumah sangat penting untuk mencegah komplikasi, khususnya infeksi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan caregiver mengenai perawatan anak pasca kateterisasi jantung melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Metode kegiatan berupa edukasi langsung kepada caregiver pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit X Batam. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman orang tua dalam melakukan perawatan di rumah, yang diharapkan dapat menurunkan risiko infeksi dan komplikasi lainnya.]]>

<![CDATA[Dedak padi merupakan limbah hasil dari proses penggilingan padi dan penyosohan beras yang dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak. Kandungan selulosa yang cukup tinggi menjadikan dedak padi berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi produk bernilai tambah, seperti bioplastik, bioetanol, dan biobriket. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi kepada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Bougenville di Prabumulih Barat sebagai upaya awal dalam mengenalkan diversifikasi pemanfaatan limbah dedak padi. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, peserta menunjukkan respon positif, yang ditunjukkan melalui antusiasme dalam diskusi serta keterlibatan aktif pada sesi tanya jawab. Hasil evaluasi juga memperlihatkan terjadinya proses transfer pengetahuan antara tim pelaksana dan peserta, sehingga diharapkan dapat mendorong peningkatan wawasan dan keterampilan masyarakat untuk mengolah limbah pertanian menjadi hasil olahan yang memiliki fungsi praktis dan potensi keuntungan.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Blended Learning on the motivation to learn mathematics in class XII TBSM SMK Negeri 1 Angkola Timur. This type of research is an experiment by giving treatment to the research sample group and then given a post-test, as a data collection tool the instrument is a student's mathematics learning motivation questionnaire. The sample in this study consisted of 2 classes of 30 students in class XI TBSM-1 as the experimental class and class XI TBSM-2 as the control class. The results of the questionnaire on students' motivation to learn mathematics obtained an average score of students on the subject of relations and functions of 83.53 and a standard deviation of 10.644 in the experimental class or those given treatment. While in the control class obtained an average value of 76.93 with a standard deviation of 8.925. And after the t-test was carried out on the post-test data of the experimental and control classes, which was used to see whether there was an effect of Blended Learning on the motivation to learn mathematics in class XI TBSM students of SMK Negeri 1 Angkola Timur, it was found that the t-count = 2.602 and t- table = 2.042 for the significance level = 0.05. This shows that the value of t-count > t-table is 2.602 > 2.042 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.]]>

<![CDATA[The neonatal period (0-28 days) experiences enormous changes from life in the womb and undergoes organ maturation in every system. The results of 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) were the Neonatal Mortality Rate (AKN) of 15 per 1,000 live births. The phenomenon found at Awal Bros Batam Hospital was the number of births 208, in infants who underwent intravenous therapy, infants were not given measures to reduce pain such as using a pacifier. Objective To determine the effect of using a pacifier on the pain of giving intravenous therapy to neonates at Awal Bros Hospital Batam. The research design used a pre-experimental design using one group and pre-test post-test design. The sample of this study was 20 babies who were treated at Awal Bros Batam Hospital and received intravenous therapy and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results revealed a significant difference, which (p-value 0.000 ≤0.05) indicates a significant difference between the average pain scale before and after the intervention. Increasing information and motivation for nurses regarding the effect of using a pacifier on the pain of giving intravenous therapy to neonates at Awal Bros Hospital, Batam.]]>

<![CDATA[Pulmonary TB in children is an infection caused by the germ Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Pulmonary TB is transmitted from human to other human through the air when a BTA positive pulmonary TB sufferer talks, sneezes or coughs and indirectly the sufferer emits phlegm splashes in the air and there are ±3000 phlegm splashes containing germs. This research was conducted to determine the factors associated with the incidence of pulmonary TB in children at the Embung Fatimah Regional Hospital Polyclinic. The research method is descriptive with a cross sectional design. The sample consisted of 34 pediatric TB patients at the Embung Fatimah Regional Hospital Polyclinic using a sampling technique, namely total sampling. Data were processed using the chi square test. The results of this study show that there is no significant relationship between BCG immunization status and the incidence of pulmonary TB in children (P value of 0.450 > 0.05), there is a significant relationship between contact with TB sufferers and the incidence of TB in children (P value of 0.021 > 0.05), and there is a significant relationship between family smoking status and TB sufferers and the incidence of TB in children (P value of 0.014 > 0.05). It is hoped that the role of nurses can overcome the problem of childhood TB through health promotion and increasing immunization coverage for children in the community.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of the Riau University KKN program is to increase knowledge and attitudes in the education sector and environmental cleanliness among the aged in Parit I/II Village. The special target in the Riau University KKN program is children who will become the nation's successors. Providing prepared materials to be delivered to children and then creating a reading corner to increase awareness of the importance of reading culture. Building a waste bank is also an important activity to raise awareness of the importance of disposing of waste in its proper place. Apart from that, supporting activities were also carried out in the form of a torchlight parade to welcome the Hijriah New Year and also an STQ competition to select qori candidates to advance to the sub-district level and finally, in celebrating Independence Day, a competition was also held on August 17 to increase social values in the community.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang digunakan oleh orlenalycious dalam memberikan informasi kepada konsumennya mengenai produk yang di tawarkan oleh orlenalycious sehingga meningkatkan minat beli konsumennya dan orlenalycious juga ingin konsumennya selalu mengingat orlenalycious dari video yang telah di buat pada TikTok orlenalycious. Penelitian ini nenggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data, peneliti melakukan observasi pada akun TikTok orlenalycious serta peneliti juga melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber yang mengetahui mengenai TikTok orlenalycious. Hasil penelitian ini adalah media sosial TikTok yang saat ini sangat ramai digunakan dimanfaatkan oleh orlenalycious untuk memasarkan produknya dengan membuat video yang menarik di TikTok. Dengan menggunakan TikTok untuk memasarkan produknya terbilang sangat efektif sehingga membuat banyak konsumennya memiliki keinginan untuk terus membeli produk orlenalycious. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian, Orlenalycious telah memanfaatkan komunikasi pemasaran dengan baik dan orlenalycious menggunakan TikTok untuk memperlihatkan other side of orlena sehingga nantinya konsumennya selalu mengingat orlenalycious dan selalu membeli produk yang di tawarkan oleh orlenalycious.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the impact of long-term hijab use on women's hair health. Hair is considered an important part of one's appearance and is often seen as an indicator of physical well-being. The research began after a proposal seminar and was conducted at the Department of Beauty and Cosmetology at Padang State University.Based on existing literature, the use of the hijab can affect hair condition because it covers the head continuously, which may restrict air circulation and increase moisture on the scalp area. Previous studies have shown that women who wear the hijab for more than eight hours a day are at risk of experiencing hair problems such as hair loss, dandruff, and split ends. However, this research also notes that proper hair care can reduce these negative effects, so women who take good care of their hair tend to have healthier hair even while wearing the hijab.The focus of this study is on the general impact of hijab use on hair health, without considering the different hair types of the respondents. The results from observations and interviews emphasize the importance of selecting appropriate hair products to minimize the negative effects of hijab use, supporting the findings of previous studies.]]>

<![CDATA[Intravenous access on a patient requires skilled skills. These skills must be based on knowledge of anatomy and the level of difficulty that will be faced in the process of the action. Using the DIVA scale is a way that can be used to assess whether the installation has a high level of difficulty or not.The application of the DIVA Scale at the Awal Bros Group Hospital was carried out to provide education and reference for all nurses in doing this to detect the level of difficulty before access is installed.Application of scale DIVA is useful for reducing the number of attempts required to install intravenous access. The training was carried out on January 19 2024, which was attended by 136 nurses from 9 hospitals.]]>
