Abstract

In today's digital era, higher education faces new challenges and opportunities, especially in terms of integrating technology in the teaching and learning process. The digital-based learning evaluation course is one form of adaptation to this change. This course is designed to equip students with skills in evaluating and managing learning that utilizes digital technology. Student satisfaction is an important indicator in assessing the effectiveness of this course. This study aims to determine student satisfaction with learning for the Digital-Based Learning Evaluation course in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program. This research was conducted using a survey method through giving a questionnaire with a total of 100 respondents who took this course. The questionnaire was given through google form with a total of 18 statements. The data were analyzed descriptively by presenting the acquisition of each aspect of satisfaction. The results show that student satisfaction is in a very high category, namely in the aspect of learning planning at 89.88%, the aspect of teaching ability of lecturers at 90.33% and the use of technology in learning at 86.37%. Thus, the learning process of the Digital-Based Learning Evaluation course has a significant effect on student satisfaction both in terms of lecturer planning and the form of technology used.

Abstract

ABSTRACTStudied (IPAS) learning based on field observations. The aim of this study is to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in IPAS instruction using the Cooperative Learning model of the Picture and Picture type in class V of SDN 01 2x11 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency. The results of this study indicate that the teaching module for Cycle I achieved an average score of 87.5% (B), which increased to 95.83% (SB) in Cycle II. The implementation of learning from the teacher's perspective in Cycle I yielded an average score of 81.94% (B), which increased to 94.44% (SB) in Cycle II. The implementation of learning from the student's perspective in Cycle I resulted in an average score of 79.16% (C), which increased to 94.44% (SB) in Cycle II. The attitude assessment in Cycle I showed 7 outstanding students, with 4 exhibiting positive attitudes and 3 exhibiting negative attitudes. In Cycle II, 3 students demonstrated outstanding positive attitudes. The learning outcomes for students in Cycle I averaged 76.57% with a qualification of Poor (K), which increased to 89.58% with a qualification of Good (B) in Cycle II. It can be concluded that the Picture and Picture type of Cooperative Learning model can improve students' learning outcomes in IPAS lessons in class V at SDN 01 2x11 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Picture and Picture di kelas V SDN 01 2x11 Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 87,5% (B), meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 95,83% (SB). Hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran aspek guru siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 81,94% (B), meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 94,44% (SB). Hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran aspek peserta didik siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 79,16% (C), meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 94,44% (SB). Hasil penilaian sikap siklus I diperoleh 7 peserta didik yang menonjol yaitu 4 orang yang menonjol bersikap positif dan 3 orang bersikap negatif, kemudian pada siklus II diperoleh 3 orang yang menonjol nersikap positif. Hasil belajar peserta didik siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 76,57% dengan kualifikasi Kurang (K), meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 89,58% dengan kualifikasi Baik (B). dapat disimpulkan bahwa, model Cooperative Learning tipe Picture and Picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 01 2x11 Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

Abstract

Elementary School. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Implementation was carried out with a limited trial. The subjects of the limited trial were fourth-grade students of SDN 48 Payakumbuh. The validity of the media was tested by material experts, language experts, and media experts with percentage results of 82%, 100%, and 86%, respectively, all of which are included in the "very valid" category. The practicality of the media based on teacher responses reached 90% and from students 94.27%, which indicates that this media is "very practical". The activeness after using Scratch with a percentage of 90.31% with the "very active" category is higher than the percentage before using Scratch even though the intent is the same. Meanwhile, in mastery of understanding the concept of multiplication, the media was tested through summative assessment results with an average score of 93.33%, included in the "very good" category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the developed Scratch media is valid, practical, and increases the activeness and understanding of multiplication concepts. It is also valid for use in mathematics learning in fourth-grade elementary school

Abstract

This study was conducted in response to the low.learning outcomes of fifth-grade students on.the topic of perimeter and area of quadrilaterals at SDN 20 Berok Gunung Pangilun, caused by teacher-centered instruction and the limited use of effective learning models and media, which reduced student engagement and understanding. To address this issue, the Problem.Based Learning (PBL) model was implemented to promote active participation and develop students’ problem-solving skills, supported by Baamboozle as an interactive game-based learning medium to create a more engaging classroom environment. The purpose.of this study was to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes through the.application of the PBL model assisted by Baamboozle. This research employed Classroom.Action Research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative.approaches conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages, involving 27 students. The results showed consistent improvement, with lesson planning (RPPM) increasing from 85% in cycle.I meeting 1 to 90% in meeting.2 and remaining stable at 90% in cycle II. Teacher.performance improved.from 87,5% to 89,28% and reached 96,42% in cycle II, while student activity increased from 85% to 89,28% and reached 96,42%. Students’ learning outcomes also improved, achieving an average score of 85,04 with.a mastery.level of 85,19% in cycle.II, indicating that the implementation of PBL assisted by Baamboozle effectively enhances learning quality and.outcomes.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the Problem-Based Learning model supported by Canva-based animated videos on fourth-grade students’ learning outcomes in plane geometry. Methodology: This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the nonequivalent control group design. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, consisting of fourth-grade students from State Elementary School 15 Simarasok as the experimental group 27 students and State Elementary School 03 Sungai Angek as the control group 27 students. The research instrument was a multiple-choice objective test. Main Findings: The analysis results showed that the mean score of the experimental group was 72.86, while the control group scored 60.03. The hypothesis test using an independent samples t-test indicated a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05 and a t-value greater than the t-table (2.850 > 2.00665). Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model supported by Canva-based animated videos has a significant effect on fourth-grade students’ learning outcomes in plane geometry. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this study lies in the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model combined with Canva-based animated videos in teaching plane geometry. This approach promotes contextual, interactive, and visual learning to address the abstract nature of the material, thereby improving students’ engagement, conceptual understanding, and learning outcomes at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study addresses the low science achievement of third-grade students at SDN 21 Bandar Buat, which is associated with a largely teacher-centered instructional approach, limited student engagement, and the inadequate use of observation and experimental activities in the learning process. These conditions result in students being passive, less confident in asking questions, and struggling to understand concepts independently, which in turn leads to unsatisfactory learning outcomes and insufficient development of critical thinking skills. Moreover, classroom practices have not been fully aligned with the expectations of the Independent Curriculum. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the improvement of student learning outcomes on the topic of changes in the states of matter through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model in a third-grade classroom. This study employs a Classroom Action Research design, integrating both qualitative and quantitative approaches, and is conducted in two cycles. The first cycle consists of two meetings, while the second cycle includes one meeting, following stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research instruments include observation sheets for lesson planning (RPPM), teacher and student activities, as well as assessment rubrics covering attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The participants consist of one teacher and 24 students. The results reveal consistent improvements in all observed aspects, including lesson planning, teacher and student activities, and overall learning outcomes, confirming the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to identify various challenges in teaching Citizenship Education (PKn) in elementary schools and propose solutions to overcome common obstacles in the learning process. The study employs a literature review approach, analyzing various sources such as scholarly articles, journals, and relevant documents. Data collection methods include literature review, listening techniques, and note-taking. The findings indicate several issues in PKn learning at the elementary level, including: (1) teachers’ limited understanding of appropriate learning models aligned with 21st-century education demands, (2) insufficient use of instructional media tailored to students’ characteristics, (3) inadequate supporting facilities such as books and other learning resources, and (4) student learning difficulties influenced by both internal and external factors. This study concludes that implementing innovative learning models, integrating technology into the teaching and learning process, and adopting more flexible and interactive strategies are essential to enhancing the effectiveness of PKn instruction in elementary schools. Moreover, effective communication between teachers, students, and schools plays a crucial role in improving learning quality.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze literature related to solutions for dealing with Human Rights (HAM) violations in the school environment through the implementation of the Human Rights Friendly School (SR-HAM) model. The method used in writing this article is literature study. A Human Rights Friendly School is a school concept that integrates human rights values ​​as a core principle in school management and organization, where human rights values ​​are at the center of the learning process and student experience and are present in all aspects of school life. The SR-HAM concept approach combined with Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational concept is expected to be able to provide effective solutions in dealing with various human rights problems in schools. Although the concept of Human Rights Friendly Schools initiated by Amnesty International and Ki Hadjar Dewantara conceptually supports the achievement of national education goals, its implementation needs to be carried out correctly and appropriately in order to provide the best results.
