Abstract

The problem in this research is the low activity and learning outcomes of students in PPKn content. This research aims to determine the activities of educators, as well as increasing the activities and learning outcomes of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 4 meetings in class IV of SDN Mawar 2 Banjarmasin in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instrument uses observation sheets and evaluation tests for student learning outcomes. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive analysis techniques and is explained using tables, graphs and interpretation with percentages. Based on the findings of this research, educator activity increased at each meeting until it reached a score of 28 at meeting 4 which met the "Very Good" criteria. At each meeting, student activity increased until it reached 96% with the criteria "Very Active" at meeting 4. And student learning outcomes increased at each meeting until it reached 100%. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the Problem Based Learning, Group Investigation, and Picture and Picture models can improve students' activities and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan masih konvensional, siswa tidak terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran, sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi dan berakibat pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis PTK. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui observasi aktivitas siswa dan angket motivasi belajar. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa pada pertemuan setiap pertemuan selalu mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase capaian aktivitas siswa yang awalnya pada pertemuan I memperoleh 42,85% terus mengalami peningkatan hingga pada pertemuan IV mampu mencapai 85,71%. Motivasi belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan di setiap pertemuannya, hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentasi capaian pertemuan I memperoleh 42,85% terus mengalami peningkatan hingga pada pertemuan IV mencapai 85,71%. Demikian pula dengan hasil belajar siswa, yang awalnya ketuntasan klasikal hasil hanya memperoleh 28,57% berhasil mencapai 100% di pertemuan IV. Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Give The Instruction dapat meningkatkan aktivitas, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa. Model ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai permasalahan yaitu rendahnya aktivitas, keterampilan kolaborasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada muatan IPS. Upaya dalam mengatasi permasalahan itu yakni memakai model BANGKIT dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas pendidik, menganalisis peningkatan aktivitas, keterampilan kolaborasi, dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini memakai Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilakukan dalam empat kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas V. Diperolehnya data kualitatif yaitu dari observasi aktivitas pendidik, aktivitas peserta didik dan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik serta data kuantitatif dari hasil belajar peserta didik dengan tes evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan peningkatan yang signifikan sehingga pada pertemuan keempat aktivitas pendidik mencapai skor 31 yang kriterianya “Sangat Baik”. Aktivitas peserta didik dicapai ketuntasan klasikal 86% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik dicapai ketuntasan klasikal 82% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 91% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diberikan kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model BANGKIT bisa meningkatkannya aktivitas, keterampilan kolaborasi, dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

The Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) is an organization involving the community that plays a role in managing tourism in a region. This research focuses on the role of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in managing the Panjaratan River Cruise tour located in Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan. This Panjaratan River Cruise tour faces challenges in terms of management carried out by Pokdarwis. The reason for conducting this research is because there has been no specific study of the role of Pokdarwis in managing the Panjaratan River Cruise tour. This tour is an ecotourism destination that has a rich ecosystem and endemic animals, especially the proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus), which is the main attraction of this area. Therefore, this study aims to describe the role of Pokdarwis in managing the Panjaratan River Cruise tour in Tanah Laut Regency. This research method uses a qualitative research method to describe the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) Role in Managing Panjaratan River Tours in Panjaratan Village, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan . The subjects in this study were the local community in the tourist area, especially Pokdarwis members who manage the area, as well as visitors . Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used data reduction based on research objectives, data presentation based on descriptions, and data conclusions based on drawing conclusions. Data validity testing was carried out using triangulation techniques. The results of the study showed that the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) plays a role in the management of the Panjaratan River Cruise Tourism in Panjaratan Village, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan, which shows that Pokdarwis plays an active role in planning, implementing, promoting, and empowering local communities. The conclusion is that the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) has a strategic role in the management of the Panjaratan River Cruise Tourism. Pokdarwis is able to improve the quality of management, community participation, and support the sustainability and development of local tourism potential in a sustainable manner

Abstract

The SRA (Sekolah Ramah Anak- Child-Friendly School) Program has been implemented in Indonesia for more than a decade as a national child protection–based education program in Indonesia. This study aims to examine how the SRA program is implemented in supporting students’ well-being. Used qualitative methods, data were collected from several high schools that have officially met the SRA standards through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The participants included school principals, teachers, and students who were directly involved in the implementation of the SRA program. The findings suggest that the implementation of the SRA program in SRA-standardized schools is shaped by everyday practices that emphasize awareness, trust, and teacher role modeling. Student awareness is developed through the application of positive discipline and the involvement of students in community-based activities and social projects, which encourage responsibility and empathy. Trust among school members is fostered by creating safe spaces for students, establishing whistleblowing systems for case reporting, and applying humane and non-punitive approaches in handling student-related issues without public shaming. Furthermore, teachers are perceived as central figures in SRA implementation by maintaining close relationships with students, demonstrating discipline, and modeling positive norms and behaviors in daily school life. These practices collectively contribute to the creation of a supportive school climate that enables students to feel safe, respected, and emotionally comfortable, thereby supporting student well-being within the SRA program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the activities of rubber farmers and the obstacles they face in the tapping process. The research location was in Maruta Anjir Serapat Village, East Kapuas District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the main activities of farmers include tapping rubber at night, collecting sap, processing, and selling to local collectors. These activities are the main source of income for farmers. However, they face several obstacles such as unpredictable weather, especially during the rainy season, which disrupts the tapping process and reduces sap yield. In addition, fluctuating rubber prices cause farmers' incomes to be unstable. Damaged road infrastructure also hinders access to plantations and distribution of produce. Nevertheless, farmers remain persistent in their rubber farming activities. This study concludes that support from various parties, especially the government, is urgently needed. Recommended forms of support include road repairs, subsidies for fertilizers and production tools, guidance, and improved market access to enhance farmers' productivity and welfare in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Mandau Syrup is a traditional beverage product unique to Banjarmasin that is still produced today using traditional methods in Kelayan A. This business is interesting to study because it has managed to maintain its existence amid the rapid development of the modern beverage industry, which is dominated by manufactured products. This study focuses on how production factors are utilized in the Mandau Syrup business in Kelayan A, Banjarmasin. This study aims to analyze the role of production factors, including raw materials, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship in the production of Mandau syrup. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through direct observation, in-depth interviews with owners and workers, and documentation. The results show that Mandau syrup production is supported by easily obtainable raw materials such as sugar, food coloring, and flavorings from traditional markets; a workforce of four people relying on work experience; business capital of thirty million rupiah from personal funds without assistance from other parties; and entrepreneurship that emphasizes product quality consistency. These findings indicate that simple management of production factors remains effective in maintaining the sustainability of a business from generation to generation.

Abstract

The use of agricultural technology, especially in Gunung Tinggi Village, Batulicin District, is inseparable from agricultural activities and community cooperation . Social studies learning materials can be taken from real life in the community environment, the use of agricultural technology in materials about humans, places, and the environment so that the use of agricultural technology can be used as a source of social studies learning. This study aims to describe the use of technology in agricultural activities in Gunung Tinggi Village, Batulicin District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. This research method uses a qualitative research method to describe the Utilization of Technology in Agricultural Activities in Gunung Tinggi Village, Batulicin District, Tanah Bumbu Regency as a Learning Resource for Social Studies. The subjects in this study are the utilization of technology in agricultural activities, the head of agricultural management, agricultural administrators and members, the head and secretary of the BPP of Tanah Bumbu Regency. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction based on research objectives, data presentation based on descriptions, and data conclusions based on drawing conclusions. Data validity testing is carried out using triangulation techniques. The results of the study obtained that the use of agricultural technology in Gunung Tinggi Village, Batulicin District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, namely Preparation of agricultural wetlands, Preparation of seeds or planting, Fertilization, Maintenance of rice plants, Pest and disease control, and Post-harvest. The conclusion is that agricultural activities in Gunung Tinggi Village have utilized various agricultural technologies, both traditional technologies that have been modernized and modern technologies, such as the use of agricultural tools, land processing systems, and the use of other agricultural support facilities. This technology plays a role in increasing the efficiency and productivity of agricultural products for the local community.
