Abstract

Education plays an important role in the formation of individual character and abilities, especially in children at the elementary school level. This study explores the effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on the motivation to learn Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in grade 5 students at SDN Genukwatu IV Ngoro Jombang. Flipped Classroom changes the traditional learning paradigm by moving the delivery of material to home through videos or reading materials, while concept mastery activities are carried out in class. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-post experimental design, comparing the experimental group that implemented Flipped Classroom with the control group that used conventional methods. Data were collected through a valid and reliable learning motivation questionnaire. The results are expected to provide insight into the effectiveness of this model in improving student learning motivation, as well as its implications for the application of innovation in education, especially in rural areas that face unique challenges in learning. This study aims to improve the quality of education at the elementary level by understanding the effect of learning models on student motivation.

Abstract

There are many problems that occur in English education, one of which is that learning is still centered on teachers and textbooks. Students are accustomed to learning using the lecture method. Learning like this and without media can create a less active classroom atmosphere, as indicated by a less conducive classroom atmosphere, some students are busy chatting when the teacher explains in front of the class. The purpose of this research is to find out how flashcard media influences vocabulary mastery in the English subject Where Is My Pencil for class IV at SD Negeri Rejoagung 3. This research is a quantitative research with the type of Pre-Experimental Design research in the form of OneGroup Pre-test-Post -test. The population was all fourth grade students at SD Negeri Rejoagung 3. The sample taken in this research consisted of one class totaling 18 students. The method used in this research is test questions. The test is a written test in the form of multiple choices. The results of this research produced conclusions namely: (1) the ability to understand material about Where Is My Pencil in class IV students at SD Negeri Rejoagung 3 before using flashcard media was generally categorized as moderate with the average score obtained being 46.67. (2) Meanwhile, after using flashcard media, it was generally categorized as capable with the average score obtained being 66.11. (3) the influence of learning English with Where Is My Pencil material on fourth grade students at SD Negeri Rejoagung 3 shows that there is a significant influence of 0.000. The significant value shows 0.000 < 0.05 so that H₀ is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence in the use of flashcard media on the English vocabulary mastery of class IV students at SD Negeri Rejoagung 3.

Abstract

Today's learning activities are becoming increasingly complex, along with the progress of the times and changes in the education process in the modern era, it cannot be separated from its influence on the condition of student motivation and interest in learning activities. Elementary school students can foster good motivation and interest in learning through good and active learning activities. Motivation and interest in learning are the initial capital that students must have in learning. The purpose of fostering motivation and interest in learning is basically to improve students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. This study aims to analyze students' motivation and interest in learning in the discovery learning model in class III SDN Jombatan 3 Jombang. This research was conducted on mathematics learning material on fraction reduction. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The case study was conducted by in-depth exploration related to the condition of motivation and interest in learning of grade III students in discovery learning conducted within a certain period of time. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations and documentation related to the condition of students' motivation and interest in learning in the discovery learning model. The results of this study found that there are factors that influence the condition of students' motivation and interest in learning, among others; (1) external factors: the role of the teacher, learning model, learning environment. (2) Internal factors: student intelligence, student study habits, and student health.

Abstract

The importance of problem-solving skills for students because help them think, grasp, apply what they know, and develop other mathematical skills. Therefore, in learning mathematics, problem-solving skills should be a top priority. This model is used as an active and enjoyable learning model, but still a consistent learning objective. The purpose of this study is to provide an understanding of how learning models make a match affect students' ability to solve problems. This research is a quantitative study with design one group retest-posttest. The sample population of this initiative consisted of 20 V-grade students. Data analysis results showed that the average pretest before treatment was 62 and the average posttest after treatment was 82.65. Overall, the students' problem-solving skills improved on pretest and posttest issue, with an average presentation of 46%. Therefore, student's problem solving ability improved after application the "make a match" learning model.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of understanding regarding the musical scales of students at SDN Jatirejo Jombang. The aim of this research is to describe the development of media that can foster students' understanding and enthusiasm. This research uses the borg and gall development model. There are 10 stages in the development process that have been implemented in the research. The development phase will be implemented from January 22 to January 31. The media assessment was carried out by material experts, media experts, educators and fifth grade students at SDN Jatirejo Jombang. The results of media development research show that the percentage obtained from the material validator is 87.5% in the category of very valid and suitable for use without improvement, the value obtained from the media validator is 77.94% in the category of very valid and suitable for use without improvement. Furthermore, the results of the educator trial were 87.96% with the category very valid and suitable for use without improvement. The results of the field trial were carried out with 15 students with a percentage of 87.55% in the very interesting category. Based on the results of the overall data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of learning media is suitable for use as learning media.

Abstract

Sex education is very important to convey to people, including elementary school students. Sex education aims to provide information about the truth and understanding of everything related to sexuality, so that in the future when students grow up they can live a social life properly and correctly according to the knowledge they gained while at school. The urgency of sex education is given to elementary school children so that children can prevent and minimize the impact of sexual harassment which is currently rampant. This research is a literature review study with the topic of discussion, namely understanding elementary school students' sex education. Based on the results of the review, it provides unique findings regarding sex education in elementary schools. These findings provide an understanding that: 1) the level of parental education has an impact on the level of understanding of children's sexuality, 2) parents have a role in preventing sex that occurs in elementary school children, 3) communication between parents and children must be established in harmony as a form of development children's sexuality period, and 4) educational institutions must be aware that sex education needs to be provided when children are at primary school age with adapted material.

Abstract

Abstract: This community service is one of the education services to the community,which is one of the programs in the field of KKNT of UNHASY Tebuireng Jombangstudents in Kedungbogo Village, Ngusikan District, Jombang Regency. One of those isconducting a dance training at Raden Fatah. The results of the study were: there is a lackof understanding of the concept and the importance of cultural arts education inclassroom learning in terms of students’ character development into humanisticcharacters through creativity, sense, and intention. The method used in implementing thiscommunity service is as follows: a) partner Situation Analysis, b) literature study, c)preparation of material to be presented as a problem solution, d) testing the results, e)revision products, f) the training implementation, and g) Regular mentoring.Based onthose problems, it can be concluded that a) there must be an improvement in skills andcompetence of teachers related to the teaching and learning process in the schoolsenvironments, b) this training (community service) is expected to make teachersunderstand the concept and the importance of cultural arts education c) there must be adevelopment of students’ character to become humanistic character through creativity,taste, and initiative, displaying an attitude of appreciation for cultural arts, displayingcreativity through cultural arts, and increase the participation of cultural arts events at thelocal, regional and global levels.Keywords: Dance, Competency, Professional, Teacher, Raden FatahAbstrak: Pengabdian ini merupakan salah satu pengabdian perguruan tinggi kepadamasyarakat, yaitu salah satu program di bidang pendidikan KKNT mahasiswa UNHASYTebuireng Jombang di Desa Kedungbogo Kecamatan Ngusikan Kabupaten Jombang,diantaranya melaksanakan Pelatihan Tari di Raden Fatah. Hasil analisis yang ditemukanadalah: Kurang adanya pemahaman konsep dan pentingnya pendidikan seni budayapada pembelajaran di kelas sehingga kurang dalam hal pengembangan karakter pesertadidik menjadi manusia yang humanistis melalui olah cipta, rasa, dan karsa. Metodepelaksanaan PKM adalah sebagai berikut: a) Analisis Situasi Mitra, b) Pengkajianpustaka c) Penyusunan materi sebagai solusi masalah, d) Uji coba, e) Revisi produk, f)Pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan g) Pendampingan berkala. Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara yang sangat kaya akan keberagaman flora dan fauna. Flora yang terdiri dari tanaman yang berada di Indonesia sering dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai sesuatu yang berguna bagi kesehatan. Tanaman-tanaman tersebut dapat diolah menjadi obat tradisional berkhasiat. Di dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan sekolah dasar, pemanfaatan tanaman obat tradisional sangat relevan dilakukan dalam menunjang masyarakat sekolah untuk sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dengan mengkonsumsi obat-obatan tradisional. Di Desa Mejoyolosari, Kabupaten Jombang menjadi salah satu desa di kawasan tersebut yang terdapat potensi tanaman-tanaman herbal yang melimpah, namun dalam sisi pengolahannya kurang akan ilmu pengetahuan. Sehingga tujuan utama dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah membangun pola berpikir masyarakat sekolah dalam memberdayakan tanaman obat keluarga dalam menjaga pola hidup sehat. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari : 1) survei dan observasi, 2) sosialisasi, 3) penyuluhan, 4) penanaman, dan 5) pemanfaatan dan pengolahan. Adapun konkretisasi hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan tanaman obat keluarga sangat memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan secara teori dan praktik secara proporsional. Konklusi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah sumbangsih ilmu secara koheren tentang pengenalan dan pengelolaan tanaman obat keluarga sebagai upaya menciptakan sekolah peduli sehat dan peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan guru SDN Sooko 4 Mojokerto dalam menyusun asesmen pembelajaran mendalam yang sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Asesmen yang digunakan guru masih berfokus pada pengukuran kedapatan mengingat dan memahami, sehingga belum optimal mendorong keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (Higher Order Thinking Skills). Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang instrumen asesmen yang dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran mendalam. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berbasis praktik, meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, praktik penyusunan asesmen, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi hasil kerja peserta. Mitra pengabdian adalah 15 guru SDN Sooko 4 Mojokerto. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pemahaman guru dari 58,4 sebelum pelatihan menjadi 87,2 setelah pelatihan. Selain itu, guru dapat menghasilkan instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS dengan rubrik penilaian autentik yang lebih terukur. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik efektif meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan berimplikasi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

The use of diorama media is based on poor student learning outcomes in social studies subjects, namely test scores. The cause of the lack of student learning outcomes is that the media used by teachers are only pictures in books. Teachers should act as a driving force for learning and creative activities in developing learning media, as well as having confidence and skills in using learning media in an impressive way. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of diorema media on student learning outcomes. This research uses the approach used in this research using a quantitative approach, using experimental research. The data collection techniques used include tests and documentation, related to the condition of student learning outcomes in the learning model using diorema media. Results of this research found that 1. Based on the results of the descriptive test above, the mean value from the pretest of student learning outcomes before using diorema media was obtained with a score of 32.00. This shows that the learning outcomes of class V students in social studies subjects with a colonial theme are classified as low, 2. Based on the test results In the descriptive above, the mean value of the posttest on student learning outcomes after using diorema media was obtained with a value of 62.89. This shows that the learning outcomes of class V students in social studies subjects with a colonial theme are classified as moderate, 3. Based on the results of the sample t-test above, the value of sig. (2-tailed) from the preetest and posttest of 0.000 ˂ 0.05. This means that H0 is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of aroma media on student learning outcomes in social studies lessons with a colonial theme in class V at SDN Mojokembang 1 Jombang.
