Abstract

ACDP (Analytical and Capacity Development Partnership) data suggests that 10% of teachers did not attend school and 14% of those attending did not attend the class. This number indicates the teacher is not satisfied with their work. Teacher job satisfaction needs to be improved so that education can run better. Teachers who are satisfied at work will feel happy with their work, happy with the work environment and so on. Unsatisfied teachers can cause low performance and even increase the desire to move or stop working. Therefore, efforts need to be made to optimize teacher work satisfaction. Two ways that can be done to improve teacher job satisfaction are by giving appropriate rewards and increasing motivation.

Abstract

A good quality of educational institutions is very important nowadays. Currently, there are many educational institutions that are not qualified by considering from grade of national education. It is still low. In addition, there are some basics schools, high and university that have not been accredited or achieved grade C. The lack of education institutions will lead to rising unemployment and crime. In addition, the nation's competitiveness will also be low in facing global competition. To improve good quality of educational institutions, it needs to work high and state a commitment together. The existence of a good quality of educational institutions can be seen from the improvement of culture, structure, access, systems and relationship with stakeholders. Management of human resources in educational institutions is also a key quality of the educational institution.

Abstract

Based of afield observation, it indicated that the workmotivation teachers of the senior high school in sub districtRambah and Rambah Hilir Rokan Hulu Regency Riau Provinceis not optimal. Researcher suspected the interpersonalcommunication and work climate affects teachers workmotivation Senior High Schools in sub district Rambah andRambah Hilir Rokan Hulu Regency Riau Province, thereforeresearch must be done to test its truth.This research aimed to reveal the contribution ofinterpersonal communication and work climate toward teacherswork motivation senior high schools in sub District Rambahand Rambah Hilir Rokan Hulu Regency Riau Province. Thehypothesis tested in this study were: 1) interpersonalcommunication to contribute to teachers work motivation, 2)work climate to contribute to teachers work motivation, 3)interpersonal communication and work climate jointlycontribute to teachers work motivation.Research population were all teachers of senior highschools at Sub District Rambah and Rambah Hilir Rokan HuluRegency Riau Province totaling 124 teachers from whom 59teachers were selected as research sample by using stratifiedproportional random sampling technique.

Abstract

The baground of study is less parental involvement and student motivationat MTs Minaming Kecamatan Rambah. The problems of the reasearch are: 1)Students do not focus when the teacher explains the subject, 2) they do theirhomework together in the class, 3) there is assumption that parents ask theirchildren to study as well as they forget their responsibility, 4) there is thedifficulties to get helping from them about how to improve students' progress. Theaims of research is how students' perceptions about parents’ participation, to findout how students' motivation and to determine whether there is a relationshipstudents' perceptions about parental involvement and student motivation or not inMTs Menaming Kecamatan Rambah.

Abstract

The problem of the research are most students seldom read book , thestudents are passive in the class and they are not preparing the subject before class is begun. The purpose of the research are to know the way/strategy of biology students’ learning, to know the factors of students’ learning difficulties and to know the learning problem solving. This research is descriptive qualitative. The informan of research is biology’s students. Sample was taken by convenience sampling. Technique collecting data was done by observation, documentation and interview. Authenticity of data was done by trianggulation and analyzing data was done by analyzing all data, reducing data, presenting data, making data verification and conclusion

Abstract

The purposes of the research were to find out the contribution of achievement motivation and style management toward individual and colective lecturers’ job working. The main purpose of the research was to increase the lecturers’ job working at Education Faculty of Pasir Pengaraian University. Then the output of this research was expected to get in Licensed National Journal or Research Prosiding. The research was done by the quantitative Expost Facto formed. The population of the research was 36 lecturers and sample was chosen by using total sampling technique.The intruments used Linkert Scale with 5 alternative answers. The research spent time about 1 year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems in MTs Sejahtera Bersama RambahSamo about the difficulties of students' learning. The purpose of this study was to know how the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the students' learning. This research is quantitative research. Population in this research is class VIII totaling 19 people. Data collected by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis was done by using a percentage. The study says that learning disabilities are at high category with a percentage of 83.79% adversity. Difficulty learning from factors within the students are also in a high category with a percentage of 84.74%. The difficulties of students' learning from external factors also are at high category with a percentage of 82.70%. While the perceived barriers for students to learn such a lack of desire to learn, lack of encouragement from family, school climate and the lack of social control. It is advisable for students to be able to identify their learning difficulties and find solutions to difficulties. Teachers are also expected to help students identify the difficulties of students' learning.

Abstract

The puposes of this study was to provide an overview of the effectiveness of leadership in FKIP UPP. The effectiveness of leadership will be seen from the style in giving orders, force in giving the award, the style in taking decisions and style ofdelegating authority.This research was quantitative descriptive. The population of this study wasFKIP UPP Lecturers. Questionnaires were distributed to all lecturers and returned about 32 pieces. The sample was taken by total sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with Likert scale model. Data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis.The result of the research shows that generally, the leadership style in FKIP UPP was a democratic leadership style (48.89%). The styleof leadership in providing the order was the democratic style (57.03%). Leadership style in giving the award was laissez faire style (51.04%). Style of leadership in taking decision was the democratic style (46.87%). Leadership style in delegating authority was democratic style (43.75%).

Abstract

This study is motivated by the lack of reading material related to Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) in educational institutions. LMX studies in Indonesia are more dominant incorporates. The purpose of this study was to determine the study of LMX in educational institutions in Indonesia. This research is library research, the primary source of which is articles from journals. The article was taken from google scholar and eric.go.id search engines with the keywords Leader-Member Exchange. Deductive and inductive methods carried out data analysis. The results showed that LMX influenced OCB, innovative work behavior, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, work engagement, employee voice, and performance. Increasing teacher LMX can be done by increasing self-efficacy and organizational justice.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the decision making by the principal. The analysis is carried out on the stages of decision making, influencing variables and factors, so that decision making is better.  Effective decision making will make the school able to realize its vision and goals. This research uses the literature study method. The main source of research data is articles on school principals' decision-making obtained from Google Scholar. The technique of data collection is done by the method of documentation. The results showed that the principal has carried out the decision-making process by following six decision-making steps: problem identification, gathering information, developing alternative solutions, choosing the best alternative, implementing alternatives, and evaluating decisions. There are five variables that influence decision making by the principal. The five variables are self-efficacy, administration knowledge, management information system, emotional quotient and personality. Decision-making by the principal will be more effective by involving teachers and education staff.
