Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi dan numerasi anak-anak dengan disabilitas intelektual melalui pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) yang didukung teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI). Disabilitas intelektual sering dikaitkan dengan keterbatasan pada kecerdasan, interaksi sosial, dan pembelajaran akademik, namun anak-anak ini memiliki potensi unik yang memerlukan pendekatan khusus. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen di SLB ABC Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan pada siswa kelas 4-6 (usia 13-15 tahun). Sebanyak 25 siswa dengan disabilitas intelektual ringan menjadi responden, dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi literasi dan numerasi menggunakan media video berbasis AI yang menjelaskan langkah pembuatan sate buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan STEAM berbasis AI meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dan numerasi, terutama dalam kemampuan menghitung, memahami urutan, dan simbol numerik. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa. Pembelajaran berbasis STEAM dengan dukungan AI direkomendasikan sebagai metode efektif untuk pendidikan inklusif, khususnya bagi anak-anak dengan kebutuhan khusus, guna meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi miskonsepsi dalam pembelajaran materi bangun ruang pada matematika. Miskonsepsi merupakan pemahaman yang salah atau tidak tepat terhadap konsep-konsep matematika, yang sering kali menjadi hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kajian literatur ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai penelitian yang telah dilakukan terkait miskonsepsi pada bangun ruang, termasuk pada konsep volume, luas permukaan, dan sifat-sifat geometris lainnya. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi sering kali berasal dari pemahaman yang tidak tepat sejak awal, kurangnya visualisasi yang efektif, serta metode pengajaran yang kurang memadai. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, berbagai solusi telah diidentifikasi, seperti penggunaan model konkret, teknologi berbasis visualisasi, serta pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Dengan menerapkan solusi-solusi ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap bangun ruang dan mengurangi miskonsepsi yang ada. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran matematika yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Agriculture is a culture that is very close and attached to Indonesian society. Along with the times, the current cultural situation tends to be unknown to the younger generation. Ethnomathematics exists to bridge between culture and education. This community service aims to describe the ethnomathematical study of tree planting within the scope of reforestation and tree seedlings. This service uses training methods combined with literature studies that use the study of knowledge, ideas and findings contained in the literature so as to provide theoretical and scientific information related to implementation in learning which will later be collaborated with literacy and numeracy-based learning that can make a real contribution to social, economic growth and well-being for individuals and society. By having the skills to be able to apply the understanding of literacy and numeracy in the context of economics, engineering, science, social, and other fields, employment competitiveness and economic welfare will increase.

Abstract

Based on the background of the problem in this research, namely the low mathematical communication skills of class VIII students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School due to their lack of mathematical communication skills to learn and participate actively in mathematics lessons, the learning model applied so far seems monotonous which is still centered on teachers and mathematics learning in The Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School, especially in terms of building materials, has not implemented the Animaker learning model and media. The aims of this research are: 1) to determine the effect of the Inside Outside Circle type cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication abilities of class VIII students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School, 2) to determine the effectiveness of using Animaker media on the mathematical communication abilities of class VIII students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School. Based on the results of test calculations at a significance level of a - 5%, it is known that the t count is (19.716 > 2.032), then Ho is rejected and H is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Inside Outside Circle type cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills with the help of Animaker. Based on students' mathematical communication skills with the help of Animaker using a student response questionnaire, each student's average score and percentage were obtained in the "Very Good" category. The questionnaire was used to determine student responses to students' mathematical communication skills using the Inside Outside Circle learning model assisted by Animaker

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, khususnya keterampilan analisis, pada siswa masih rendah, yang disebabkan oleh kebiasaan guru dalam menyusun evaluasi yang hanya fokus pada kemampuan dasar. Soal-soal yang dirancang untuk menguji keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam mata pelajaran matematika masih sangat sedikit. Selain itu, soal evaluasi yang ada belum dirancang khusus untuk mengukur kemampuan tersebut dan jarang diterapkan kepada siswa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini bertujuan membuat soal yang mampu mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Soal-soal tersebut dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan perangkat lunak GeoGebra agar tampilannya lebih menarik dan jelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model Tessmer yang meliputi tahap awal (preliminary), evaluasi mandiri (self-evaluation), pembuatan prototipe yang terdiri dari tinjauan ahli, uji coba satu-satu, dan kelompok kecil, serta uji lapangan. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan tiga soal esai. Berdasarkan evaluasi para ahli dan uji lapangan, ketiga soal tersebut valid, reliabel dengan tingkat reliabilitas sedang, memiliki daya pembeda yang baik, tingkat kesulitan sedang, dan nilai kepraktisan yang cukup tinggi.

Abstract

Training and assistance in writing scientific journal articles for students of Al Azhar Medan Superior High School is carried out as an effort to improve students' academic literacy. This activity is based on the low ability of students to write scientific papers systematically, even though they have high academic potential. The method of implementing activities was carried out through face-to-face training for three days and online/offline assistance for two weeks. The activity was attended by 25 students of grade XI, and was evaluated using pre-test, post-test, observation, and assessment of writing results. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average score from 58.2 to 82.4, the number of students who were able to compile complete articles increased from 4 to 20 people, and eight articles were declared worthy of publication. In addition, 92% of students stated that this activity was very beneficial. This activity shows that participatory training approaches and systematic mentoring are effective in improving students' scientific literacy. The program also contributes to the formation of an academic culture and sustainable scientific writing skills at the high school level.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keeektifan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi matematis siswa melalui media yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 4D, dengan sampel kelas X-2 sebanyak 30 orang siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan nilai rata-rata total validasi media pembelajaran dan materi pembelajaran sebesar 3,61. Media pembelajaran berbasis pembelajaran matematika realistik telah memenuhi kriteria praktis yaitu pada uji coba I sebesar 86,4%. Media pembelajaran berbasis pembelajaran matematika realistik telah memenuhi kriteria efektif, dimana ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal telah tercapai yaitu sebesar 100% pada uji coba II, serta peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi matematis siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis pembelajaran matematika realistik pada materi statistika denhan rata-rata pencapaian kemampuan literasi numerasi matematis siswa pada uji coba I sebesar  69,5 dan pada uji coba II sebesar 88 terjadi peningkatan 18,5 point. Simpulan, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi matematis siswa melalui media yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kata Kunci : Canva, Media Literasi Numerasi Matematis, Media Interaktif, Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik.

Abstract

With the help of the Wordwall application and discovery learning, this project intends to create an e-module that will enhance students' comprehension of mathematical concepts related to circles. The validation results showed that the media experts received an average score of 4.64 in the valid category, the LKPD experts received an average score of 4.33 in the valid category, and the teaching module experts received an average score of 4.3 in the valid category. The evaluation of teacher responses to the e-module created during the trial is used to review the practicality analysis. Specifically, small-scale trials received an average score of 70.9% in the very practical category, while field-scale trials received an average score of 89.6%, placing them in the very practical category. Student responses on a small scale received an average score of 78.40% in the practical category, and field trials received an average score of 81.46% in the very practical category.The average post-test score for students' grasp of mathematical concepts in small-scale trials using discovery learning was 70.5, placing them in the effective category. On the field scale, the average post-test score was 83.8%, placing them in the very effective category, indicating a rise between small-scale and field trials.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model based on Malay culture with the assistance of the educational game Wordwall to improve junior high school students’ numeracy skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were 40 eighth-grade students of SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 8 Medan. The results showed that the developed MMP model based on Malay culture was valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ numeracy abilities. The model’s validity, obtained through validation by material experts, media experts, and cultural experts, reached an average of 96.6% (very valid category). The practicality of the model, assessed by teachers and students, achieved an average score of 88.6% (very practical category). The learning effectiveness was reflected in the improvement of students’ numeracy test results, with an N-Gain score of 0.86 (high category). The integration of Malay culture in mathematics learning provided a more meaningful context for students, while the use of Wordwall increased engagement and learning motivation. Therefore, this model is feasible to be implemented as an innovative learning alternative to improve students’ literacy and numeracy skills at the junior high school level.
