Abstract

Balanced nutrition education for school-age children is a crucial effort to enhance understanding and awareness of the importance of healthy eating habits that support optimal growth and development. This study aims to evaluate the impact of balanced nutrition education conducted at UPT SDN 145 Gresik on students' knowledge and eating habits. The method used was direct conseling with an interactive approach involving 82 students from grades 5 to 6. The materials presented include the concepts of "My Plate," energy, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and the four pillars of balanced nutrition. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of balanced nutrition and positive changes in their daily food choices. This education successfully fostered awareness of the importance of consuming nutritious foods and adopting a healty lifestyle from an early age. Therefore, similar programs are recommended for widespread implementation to childrens' health in school environments.

Abstract

In sugar porters at PT. X, manual handling is still performed using the shoulder and upper back. This study aims to describe the risk factors for musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among sugar porters at PT. X. This study uses a cross-sectional design with 41 respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and filling out questionnaires related to work fatigue and MSD complaints based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 9011:2021. The results showed that the majority of workers were aged 19-44 years (57%) and had worked for more than 5 years (73%). Most workers are in the very dangerous category for the musculoskeletal system (57%). MSD complaints with a high risk were found in the shoulders, upper back, and legs. The most frequently reported MSD complaints were in the shoulders, upper back, and legs. Factors such as age, work posture, length of service, and work fatigue were found to be associated with MSD complaints. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing proper ergonomics in the workplace to reduce the risk of MSD complaints. It is recommended to provide training on correct work postures, the use of lifting aids, and increase social support and employee welfare.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menciptakan tempat kerja yang aman dan sehat bebas dari pencemaran lingkungan, sehingga dapat mengurangi dan bebas dari kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas kerja. Salah satu bentuk penerapan  K3 di tempat kerja yaitu berupa sosialisasi APD. Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) digunakan untuk melindungi dan menjaga keselamatan pekerja saat melakukan pekerjaan. APD harus sesuai dengan potensi bahaya dan resiko pekerjaannya sehingga efektif melindungi pekerja sebagai penggunanya. Dalam prakteknya, APD diatur dalam perundang-undangan dari Peraturan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan dan Transmigrasi yaitu Permenakertrans No. Per. 01/Men/1981 Pasal 4 ayat (3) yang menyebutkan bahwa kewajiban pengurus menyediakan secara cuma-cuma APD yang diwajibkan penggunaannya oleh tenaga kerja yang berada di bawah pimpinannya untuk mencegah Penyakit Akibat Kerja (PAK). Walaupun Alat Pelindung Diri tidak melindungi tubuh dari potensi bahaya secara sempurna, namun penggunaan alat pelindung diri dapat mengurangi tingkat keparahan yang mungkin terjadi.

Abstract

Penelitian Industri kelistrikan memiliki risiko bagi kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja pekerja, maka salah satu upaya pengendalian melalui prosedur kerja Identifikasi Bahaya Pengendalian Risiko (IBPR). Hasil Audit Eksternal PT.PLN UIT JBM Tahun 2021 salah satu temuannya yakni terjadi perbedaan antara prosedur IBPR dengan Peraturan Direksi PT.PLN (Persero)  tinggi, terutama dalam , oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi prosedur IBPR PT.PLN (Persero) UIT JBM dengan Peraturan Direksi tentang Pedoman Umum Matriks Terintegrasi Tahun 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan  yakni penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengali informasi tentang perbedaan prosedur, penyebab perbedaan prosedur antara PT.PLN UIT JBM dengan Peraturan Direksi PT. PLN (Persero) dengan metode wawancara informan, dan melakukan studi dokumen terkait Prosedur IBPR serta melakukan evaluasi penyusunan Prosedur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perbedaan antara Prosedur IBPR dengan Peraturan Direksi yakni selera level risiko yang awalnya 4 skala menjadi 5 skala, Peraturan Direksi PT.PLN ini sudah dikeluarkan sejak tahun 2021 namun belum dilakukan penyesuaian oleh PT. PLN UIT JBM dikarenakan kendala teknis seperti kurangnya sumber daya manusia dalam tim yang bertugas memperbarui prosedur dan kendala waktu dalam menyusun prosedur yang sesuai dengan standar baru. oleh karena itu disarankan agar PT. PLN UIT JBM membentuk tim pengendali dokumen yang bertanggung jawab untuk memperbarui prosedur IBPR secara rutin, serta menetapkan tanggung jawab yang jelas untuk setiap level risiko agar prosedur selalu sesuai dan diterapkan dengan efektif.

Abstract

PT. Autokorindo Pratama, yang berlokasi di Gresik, Jawa Timur, adalah perusahaan manufaktur velg kendaraan. Observasi awal menunjukkan suhu di area pembuatan pinggiran velg mencapai 31,7°C dengan kelembapan 56,4%, melebihi batas kenyamanan dan menyebabkan pekerja mengalami kelelahan, keringat berlebihan, serta mudah haus. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang pengendalian teknis untuk menurunkan suhu kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah functional prototype dengan panduan penelitian yang sistematis. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 42 orang dari total 72 pekerja, dengan data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil kuesioner Heat Stress Environmental Symptoms Questionnaire (ESQ) menunjukkan 15 pekerja mengalami gejala ringan, sementara 27 pekerja mengalami heat stress kategori sedang. Pengendalian yang sudah ada, seperti kipas angin, dinilai kurang efektif karena atap transparan dan ventilasi buruk. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan tambahan pengendalian seperti turbin ventilator atau ice cooler fan. Melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan divisi HRGA, usulan pemasangan turbin ventilator disambut baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengendalian suhu saat ini belum optimal, sehingga rekomendasi sistem pengendalian teknis diperlukan. Analisis biaya dan manfaat menunjukkan pentingnya implementasi ini untuk menghindari risiko sanksi hukum akibat kondisi kerja yang tidak memadai.

Fire is an accident that can cause significant losses to humans, assets, and company productivity. PT X, a manufacturing company engaged in the production of metal and plastic, has a high risk of fire due to the use of flammable materials and production activities that generate sparks. This study aims to plan the provision of Fire Extinguishers (APAR) at PT X in accordance with the provisions of Permenakertrans Number 4 of 1980. The use of APAR is crucial for providing initial fire protection as they are easy to operate and can be placed at various strategic points. This study employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, measurements, documentation, and literature studies. The study involved three informants. The results show that PT X requires 10 APAR units to ensure optimal protection in production areas including office, workshop, u-bend, plastic, welding, spot welding, metal stamping, warehouse, and assembling. The recommended APAR types are dry powder and carbon dioxide (CO2), effective in extinguishing fires involving solid, liquid, gas, and electrical equipment. The placement of APARs is done considering fire risks and accessibility for quick and safe evacuation. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of APAR according to the applicable standards is crucial to enhance workplace safety at PT X. Procuring dry powder and CO2 APARs, providing regular training for employees, and conducting routine inspections and maintenance of APARs are essential steps to ensure the company's readiness in facing potential fires. This research is expected to serve as a guideline for PT X in improving workplace safety and minimizing fire risks. Abstract

Potensi bahaya dapat terjadi dimana saja dan kapan saja. Kebakaran dan gempa bumi merupakan salah satu potensi bahaya yang dapat terjadi di kantor PT. Masaji Tatanan Kontainer Indonesia (MTKI) Surabaya. Bahaya tersebut tidak dapat dipungkiri dapat terjadi, oleh karena itu perlunya sosialisasi edukasi mengenai sistem tanggap darurat, yang mencangkup bagaimana cara mengevakuasikan diri ketika bahaya tersebut terjadi dan bagaimana cara memadamkan api ketika terjadi kebakaran dengan skala kecil maupun skala besar. Sosialisasi mengenai sistem tanggap darurat pada petugas keamanan di PT. Masaji Tatanan Kontainer Indonesia (MTKI) Surabaya dilakukan pada hari Senin, 19 Juni 2023, pada lapangan Depo 1 PT. Masaji Tatanan Kontainer Indonesia (MTKI) Surabaya yang beralamatkan Jl. Greges Jaya III No. 2-4-6 Surabaya. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengam memberikan soal pre-test terlebih dahulu selama 5 menit pengerjaan, lalu pemaparan materi selama 20 menit, dan diakhiri dengan pemberian soal post-test selama 5 menit pengerjaan. Dengan hasil terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 7,8%

Abstract

Inspection of Light Fire Extinguishers is one of the important steps in maintaining safety in the work environment. PT. Semen Indonesia Logistik previously conducted inspection of Light Fire Extinguishers manually, which caused problems such as delays in recording, lack of data accuracy, and difficulty in monitoring inspection history. This study aims to describe the manual inspection of Light Fire Extinguishers process, implement a website-based inspection system, and evaluate the effectiveness of the system in improving inspection accuracy and efficiency. The research method used is development research with the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The system is developed using the Laravel framework and applies QR Code technology to facilitate the identification of Light Fire Extinguisher. Based on the conclusions from the analysis and discussion, the website-based APAR inspection system developed has proven effective in supporting inspection activities at PT. Semen Indonesia Logistik. The implementation of this technology not only improves work efficiency but also strengthens transparency and accountability in the management of Light Fire Extinguisher.

Abstract

Background: A heavy equipment operator is someone who is skilled at operating vehicles such as excavators and bulldozers. Work fatigue is a condition of weakening of activities and physical exhaustion from doing work. Several factors of work fatigue include work factors (work shifts, work load and work period), individual factors (age, education, work nutrition). Method: This research uses quantitative descriptive with analytical design and a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample were 24 workers, the sampling technique used total sampling. Results: Statistical test results using crosstab showed that many complaints of work fatigue were obtained from the results of mild fatigue as many as 22 respondents (91.7%) and moderate fatigue 2 respondents (8.3 %). Conclusion: on work fatigue factors including age, education, nutritional status, length of work, workload and work shifts influence the occurrence of fatigue.

Abstract

Kepatuhan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) merupakan aspek krusial dalam penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), terutama di industri konstruksi baja yang memiliki tingkat risiko tinggi. Di PT X, meskipun APD telah disediakan sesuai standar dan kebijakan keselamatan telah diterapkan, observasi menunjukkan bahwa implementasi di lapangan belum sepenuhnya optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan APD pada pekerja area produksi PT X serta mengidentifikasi faktor faktor yang memengaruhinya berdasarkan pendekatan Lawrence W. Green. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik total sampling terhadap 50 pekerja bagian fabrikasi. Hasil dari faktor preisposisi domininan meliputi usia > 35 tahun, pendidikan baik (98%), perilaku positif (86%), dan masa kerja baru. Faktor pemungkin didukung oleh ketersediaan APD (100%), dan kenyamanan (86%). Faktor penguat adalah pengawasan (100%) dan kebijakan perusahaan (88%). Hasil analisis cross tabulasi didapatkan hasil pekerja yang tidak patuh memiliki karakteristik usia ≤ 35 tahun, pengetahuan cukup, perilaku cukuo, masa kerja ≤ 5 tahun, kenyamanan APD rendah, pemahaman kebijakan yang belum sepenuhnya diterapkan. Perusahaan disarankan melakukan pengawasan lebih sering dan ketat.
