Abstract

Hasil Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) menunjukkan bahwa 70% siswa berusia 15 tahun berada di bawah kompetensi minimum dalam memahami bacaan sederhana atau menerapkan konsep matematika dasar. Hal ini diperparah dengan adanya pandemi COVID-19, yang menyebabkan terjadinya Learning Loss. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan tingkat kemampuan peserta didik akan mengalami penurunan. Sebagai bagian dari upaya pemulihan pembelajaran, Kurikulum Merdeka (yang sebelumnya disebut sebagai kurikulum prototipe) dikembangkan sebagai kerangka kurikulum yang lebih fleksibel, sekaligus berfokus pada materi esensial dan pengembangan karakter dan kompetensi peserta didik. Permasalahan yang akan diselesaikan oleh Tim Pengabdian PKM dan bekerjasama dengan mitra MTs ‘Aisyiyah Kota Binjai, yaitu: 1) menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis karakter sesuai Profil Pelajar Pancasila, 2) menyusun materi esensial dalam bentuk modul ajar, 3) melaksanakan pembelajaran yang terdiferensiasi. Solusi yang akan diberikan adalah melaksanakan workshop kepada guru-guru MTs ‘Aisyiyah Kota Binjai. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah: 1) guru memahami karakter yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik yaitu Profil Pelajar Pancasila, 2) guru mampu menyusun modul ajar, dan 3) guru menerapkan belajar berdifferensiasi berdasarkan kemapuan dan kebutuhan peserta didik. Luaran yang akan dicapai adalah Artikel Ilmiah dimuat di Jurnal di Published, Hak Kekayaan Intelatual terdaftar, Publikasi pada media cetak/online terbit dan Publikasi pada media sosial/youtube terbit.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of human resource management in improving the performance of educators and education staff. This research was carried out from December 2022 - April 2023. Using data collection techniques observation, interviews, documentation and data analysis techniques by reducing data and drawing conclusions . The results of the research show that the human resource management recruitment process in teacher recruitment at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban is carried out starting from the preparation stage with evaluation and analysis of teacher conditions carried out by the principal and representatives of the school curriculum, the data collection stage by analyzing the required teacher positions and other needs related to this, preparation stage, data collection stage, curriculum determination stage, program planning stage, implementation of needs planning for teacher readiness to be carried out or recruitment and selection of teachers who can be empowered to fill non-urgent and vital subjects, planning stage program by creating a teacher procurement program and coaching the creation of teaching equipment, and the implementation stage of teaching staff planning. The implementation of human resource management at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban can be seen from: First, namely the placement of human resources, the placement of human resources at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban is in accordance with the educational background and competencies possessed by an educator, namely in accordance with the main tasks and desires of the educator, second, teacher performance management is carried out by providing or holding training and coaching through MGMP. Third, performance assessment is carried out by the school principal by looking at teacher performance during the learning process both inside and outside the classroom, as well as providing supervision of each teacher and check the attendance list of an educator

Abstract

Stream Cyber Café is one of the icafe in Medan, categorized as mid-high end due to its excellent services, facilities, and PC specifications for playing various online games. As a result, this icafe, founded by the STREAM UNIVERSE company, has a significant number of customers. The high number of customers often leads to a crowded and full environment, causing some customers to feel disappointed when they visit but cannot play because there are no available PCs. Therefore, this research aims to address the issues faced by internet cafe customers by designing a Prototype Internet Cafe Booking Application using the Design Thinking method. This prototype application will make it easier for internet cafe customers to check PC availability and book PCs using their smartphones. It will also provide valuable insights to the STREAM UNIVERSE company regarding an application that can enhance the quality of service at their icafe.

Abstract

Mathematical anxiety has plagued all levels of math students. Bibliometric analysis is required due to the absence of quantitative research in this field's publications. Employing 496 Scopus literature, this research investigated the evolution of publications pertinent to mathematics anxieties in learning. The descriptive and network analysis software applications Biblioshiny and VOSviewer are utilized. Over the past 20 years, the results demonstrate that the aggregate trend of publications in this field has increased by 25% annually. Frontiers in Psychology is ranked first among publications. The most influential author, E.A. Maloney, had 832 citations and publications. The United States surpassed all other nations in terms of contribution. The article "Mathematics Anxiety and the Affective Decline in Performance" by MH Ashcraft ranks first in annual total and average citations. Psychology and the educational process in college, the primary factors for the emergence of mathematical anxiety, and elementary school math knowledge are the most popular themes among researchers. Given that math anxiety can potentially impair learning, this study aids readers in gaining a deeper understanding of the current corpus of research.

Abstract

Pandemic has brought everyone to the highest climax in the development of learning innovations, including digital learning. The popularity of web digital learning applications and pages, video conferencing, digital quizzes, to audio-visual-based learning tools has brought civilization to various forms of learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the use of web-blog-based digital learning media in mathematics learning in junior high schools. This research was conducted in the first week of March 2023. This research used a qualitative method, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The researcher in this case functions as the main tool for collecting data with the main data collection techniques through interviews, explanations and documentation. The results of the analysis in research on the use of web-blogs in learning mathematics show that there is ease in strengthening concept understanding, learning that is flexible and can be accessed repeatedly, the time for giving material and assignments is concise, and motivating the use of gadgets positively. Other results show obstacles in the form of resource capabilities that have not been maximized, minimal availability of devices, limited internet access based on region and economic capacity, to limited abilities of students and educators in using digital media. The analysis above provides a description to educators in terms of selecting learning media when analyzing material in the preparation of lesson implementation plans, so that the use of web-blog media can be adjusted and varied according to resources and learning needs.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan Untuk mengembangan perangkat bahan ajar matematika yang berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skills dan Technology Pedagogy and Content Knowledge pada materi Sistem Koordinat dan Vektor pada bidang datar. Untuk mendeskripsikan perangkat bahan ajar matematika yang berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skills dan Technolgy Pedagogical Content Knowledge pada materi Sistem Koordinat dan Vektor pada bidang datar efektif. Kajian ini yakni kajian research and development dengan model kajian 4-D Thiagarahan: define (Pendefenisian), design (Perancangan), develop (Pengembangan) and deesimanate (Penyebaran). Sampel kajian yakni siswa kelas X-B MAN 2 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 berjumlah 38 orang. Jenis data berupa data kuantitaif dan kualitatif dengan instrument kajian lembar validasi, tes hasil belajar dan angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat bahan ajar matematika yang berorientasi HOTS dan TPACK dinyatakan valid, praktis, efektif yang di tunjukkan oleh skor rata-rata yang diberikan para validator yakni RPP sistem koordinat dan vektor dengan skor rata-rata 3,67 memliki tingkat validitas Baik, data kepraktisan dengan jumlah rata-rata 1,9 memiliki kategori Sangat Baik ,sedangkan skor yang peroleh untuk keefektifan materi sistem koordinat sebesar 81,57% , vektor dan operasi vektor 86,84%. Hasil tes kemampuan berpikir HOTS diperoleh skor presentase sistem koordinat sebesar 80%, vektor sebesar 78% dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian adalah Efektivitas Implementasi kurikulum Tematik Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi dan Numerasi (Studi di SD Negeri Pangkalan Sulampi Aceh Singkil). dimana penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Pangkalan Sulampi Aceh Singkil. Menggunakan tekhnik pengumpulan data observasi, wawncara dan dokumentasi . Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Penyusunan  perangkat pembelajaran  kurikulum Tematik Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi dan Numerasi (Studi di SD Negeri  Pangkalan Sulampi Aceh Singkil)  terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan pada pertemuan pertama, kedua dan ketiga yaitu guru menyiapkan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), guru menganalisis misi dan tujuan pembelajaran, guru juga menganalisis bagaimana karakter dan motivasi belajar siswa. Pengembangan sillabus kurikulum Tematik Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi dan Numerasi (Studi di SD Negeri Pangkalan Sulampi Aceh Singkil) dengan Melakukan Evaluasi test tentang materi yang telah disampaikan. Serta Guru juga melaksanakan tes setiap Capaian Pembelajaram yang dipelajari telah selesai. Proses implementasi kurikulum kurikulum Tematik Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi dan Numerasi (Studi di SD Negeri Pangkalan Sulampi Aceh Singkil)  dilaksanakan melalui berpikir reflektif serta disusun berdasarkan kebutuhan siswa meliputi kebutuhan rasa aman dan nyaman dengan hak siswa sebagai anak dapat terpenuhi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of guided discovery learning model on students' cognitive abilities. The method used is a quasi-experimental study by adapting a Posttest-Only-Control Group design. Regarding the population, the researcher assigned class VIII of SMP PAB 2 Helvetia Medan, class VIII-1 and class VIII-2 research subjects as experimental and control classes, respectively, each class consisted of 30 students taken using a non-random technique. A test instrument in the form of a posttest consisting of 10 questions was used during data collection. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes that were treated in the form of guided exploratory learning models compared to the control class that used conventional learning models had a better value. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the guided exploration method affects the student's learning outcomes in geometry teaching materials

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the difference in the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII MTs Al-Washliyah Tanjung Mulia in the 2017/2018 school year on the tangent line to a circle. This research is a quasi-experimental type with a two group posttest only design. The research sample involved 26 students of class VIII-A who were given treatment with the TTW learning model, then 24 students of class VIII-B were given treatment with the MMP learning model. The sampling technique used is nonrandom. Research data were collected with several instruments, including interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The test instrument has gone through the validation stage by three validators, namely one mathematics teacher and two mathematics lecturers. The results of the final data test with t-test obtained tcount > ttable (846 > 1679). Based on these facts, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes using the MMP and TTW models at MTs Al-Wasliyah Tanjung Mulia in class VIII have significant differences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kajian literatur dan angket. Teknik pengambilan data yang saya gunakan adalah metode pembagian angket. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kecamatan Perbaungan yang terdiri dari 3 Sekolah yaitu SMK Negeri I Perbaungan, SMK Swasta Musda Perbaungan dan SMK Swasta Al-Washliyah 8 Perbaungan. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 10 Juli 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kecamatan Perbaungan, untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh etos kerja terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kecamatan Perbaungan, dan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh  kepemimpinan transformasional dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kecamatan Perbaungan. Hasil yang saya dapatkan dari  penelitian yang telah saya lakukan, ternyata kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kecamatan Perbaungan, etos kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kecamatan Perbaungan dan kepemimpinan transformasional dan etos kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kecamatan Perbaungan.  Nilai koefisien determinasi (R square)   sebesar  0.661, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kinerja guru (Y) yang dipengaruhi oleh variabel kepemimpinan transformasional (X1) dan  etos kerja (X2)  adalah sebesar 66.10 % sedangkan sisanya 33.90 %  berada di luar penelitian ini atau ditentukan oleh faktor lain
