Abstract

This article discusses the role of Islamic scholars (kiai) in cultivating the values of national politics to shape moderate Santri. Confronting the phenomenon of Islamic scholars involved in political contests, both actively and those choosing to remain neutral, this article outlines how kiai plays a role in imparting the values of national politics and analyzes the impact of internalizing these values on Islamic students. Utilizing a qualitative method and a phenomenological approach, the findings in this article highlight the significance of the kiai's role in developing political awareness and patriotism among Islamic students, ultimately contributing to the construction of a better and more just society. The research also notes that the political stance of the kiai is not always reflected in practical political contests; the silence of the kiai regarding external influences can also be considered a political strategy. The national political orientation of the kiai is also manifested through Sufi-influenced actions in society and adaptive attitudes towards local culture

Abstract

The current transformation of the education system from face-to-face learning to online learning has caused many problems in terms of student learning motivation, learning models, and learning climate. This research aims to explore the facts that occur related to learning loss in the cognitive and affective domains. This research uses the case study method to explore a case related to learning loss in students at SD Muhammadiyah Jogokarian. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observations, and documentation to school residents. The data in this study were analyzed using the triangulation method. The results of this study show that students' learning loss in cognitive aspects such as weak motivation to learn, low learning evaluation results, and low levels of student understanding of PAI material, even 20% have decreased learning outcomes. Meanwhile, in the attitude aspect, there is a decrease in the ability of discipline, social care, environmental care, and low curiosity because they have not fully understood the online learning pattern. PAI teachers also experienced obstacles where PAI teachers were unable to understand optimally due to the limited video media sent by students online, the difficulties experienced by PAI students in the practice of PAI materials in the form of ablution recitation, prayer recitation, and letter memorization.

Abstract

Fabrics that have hydrophobic properties tend to be more resistant to water stains and dirt that comes from water, such as drink spills or rain splashes. The purpose of this research is to measure the hydrophobic properties of hemp fiber, to identify the impact of hydrophobic properties on dirt, and to evaluate the growth of microorganisms. Fabric material made from hemp fiber with hydrophobic properties will have a higher level of cleanliness compared to fabric material made from hemp fiber without hydrophobic properties. Note key findings, existing theories, research methods used by previous researchers, and results that have been achieved in previous studies. One of the main reasons why hemp fiber is considered to have hydrophobic properties is its low water absorption capacity. The hydrophobic properties of hemp fiber can have varying impacts on manure, depending on a number of factors, including the level of hydrophobicity of the hemp fiber, the type of manure involved, and environmental conditions.

Abstract

This article explores the application of Islamic ethics, particularly the concept of tawhid, in the development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI). The study employs a qualitative descriptive method based on a literature review to analyze Islamic principles, such as justice (al-'adl), trust (amanah), and public benefit (al-maslahah), in addressing ethical challenges posed by AI. The findings indicate that Islamic values can provide a holistic framework for tackling algorithmic bias, privacy concerns, and social inequalities associated with AI. However, the study identifies a gap in academic research regarding the integration of tawhid principles with AI development. A limitation of this research is the lack of empirical case studies to test the effectiveness of implementing these principles in technology development.

Abstract

Seven Dignity is one of the controversial teachings because it contains the thoughts of Waḥdat al-Wujud Ibn Arabi in it. Seven Martabat first time emerged from the Sufism text written by Muhammad Ibnu Syeikh Fadhlullah Al-Burhanfuri Al-Hindi, At-Tuhfah al-Mursalah Ila Ruh an-Nabiy, which is the material object of this research. This research is a literature review using philological and philosophical approaches. Meanwhile, the data analysis used content analysis. This book contains the seven divine dignity which is based on the philosophical thinking of Ibn Arabi. In the process of spiritual alignment with Khaliq, a salik must go through seven stages of dignity, namely 1. La Ta'ayyun's Dignity, 2. Early Ta'ayyun's Dignity, 3. Ta'ayyun Sani's Dignity, 4. 'Alam Al -'Arwah, 5. 'Alam Al-Misal,' 6. Alam Al-'Ajsam, and 7. 'Alam Al-'Insan. In it it is very identical with the Neoplatonic peripatetic view of the mind, making it part of God, and equating it with the attributes of God and Plato's World of Ideas..
