Abstract

Simulator Building is one of the buildings in Indonesia Civil Aviation Institute, which is used as supporting educational facilities. This simulator building has three floors and a lobby on the first floor which is used as the meeting room and reception area. On this building, there is already a centralized air conditioning type whose channels are distributed throughout the room in this building including a lobby room on the first floor. But, those air conditioning equipment is not working. Thus, it is causing the temperature in the lobby room calculated as 28°C - 30°C during the daylight. Those condition is exceeding the maximum thermal comfort threshold for tropics which is 22,8°C – 25,8°C. It is over the limit of maximum thermal comfort condition for the tropics, which is 22,8°C- 25,8°C. Therefore, it needs an air conditioner (AC) to keep the room temperature comfortable. in planning the installation of the eqquipment, we can analyze it by Cooling Load Temperature Difference (CLTD) calculation method for Indonesian comfort thermal zone which is generally 25oC ± 1oC on temperature and 55 % ± 10 % on relative air humidity

Abstract

Air merupakan sumber utama dalam kehidupan, namun penyediaan oleh PDAM belum menjangkau ke seluruh masyarakat. Atas dasar hal ini maka masyarakat dalam penyediaan air diantaranya menggunakan air tanah dengan cara sedot mandiri oleh masing-masing rumah tangga, tempat ibadah, sarana umum, kantor swasta, kantor pemerintah dan lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan terhadap bangunan Musholah Sekolah SD Islam An-Nabil Kelurahan Babakan, Kecamatan Legok, Kabupaten Tangerang – Banten dan Musholah Al Ikhlas Ibnu Rosyad Kelurahan Babakan, Kecamatan yang masih terdapat fasilitas sistem instalasi air bersih. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melakukan beberapa hal yang akan menjadi solusi permasalahan fasilitas belum memenuhi standar, yaitu: (a) melakukan pengeboran sumur yang akan menjadi sumber air bersih; (b) melakukan perhitungan kebutuhan air bersih yang menjadi dasar untuk menentukan kapasitas dan jenis pompa, tempat penampungan air (dilengkapi dengan sensor pelampung sebagai media kontrol on/off pompa); dan (c) sistem instalasi perpipaan air bersih yang akan berfungsi sebagai proses distribusi air bersih dari sumber kepada pengguna, sehingga mewujudkan system instalasi air bersih sesuai Stnadar Nasional Indonesia (SNI).

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat merupakan salah satu kegiatan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan melalui Diklat Perberdayaan Masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan ketrampilan/keahlian berupa pelatihan Teknik Las Listrik. Peserta diklat ini berasal dari masyarakat umum dalam rentang usia produktif yang sulit mendapat kesempatan kerja. Peserta diberikan pelatihan secara teknis yang siap untuk dipraktekan/diterapkan dilapangan, baik secara langsung kerja atau berwirausaha. Materi Pelatihan Teknik Las Listrik yang diberikan berupa pengetahuan tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), Material Industri, Peralatan Las Listrik, Peralatan perbengkelan Las Listrik, Menggambar Desain Rancangan, dan Pembuatan karya sesuai gambar rancangan. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, para peserta diharapkan mempunyai kemampuan yang terlatih, terampil dan teruji dalam Teknik pengelasan listrik

Abstract

Water is essential for life, but not all people can access tap water. In fact, many people use ground water, which is not measured its purity, to supply household, places of worship, public facilities, private offices, government offices, and etc. This problem was also observed on Al-Ikhwan Mosque building Jl. Masjid RT 01 RW 08 Rancagong Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. In addition, in this place the water installation was not available. Therefore, it was feasible to carry out community service activities in that location regarding to clean water supply and installation. The method of this project were (1) drilling to make wells as clean water supply, (2) Calculating the need for clean water as the basis in determining the capacity and the type of water pump, (3) building water storage (equipped with a floating sensor as a control media turn the pump on or off automatically), and (4) piping to support distribution system of clean water from well to tap. This method was expected to meet Indonesian National Standard of clean water installation system. This project was supported by lecturers / instructors as their responsibility to practice Tridharma of higher education. Cadets/students was also involved in this project so they can demonstrate their knowledge about standard of building facilities in society.

Abstract

Aviasi Branti Vocational High School (SMK) - Lampung is a newly established vocational high school in the field of aviation with 95 students. Development of student abilities is not only limited to learning activities that support student competencies in the field of aviation, but also requires other abilities that support the achievement of key competencies. Good physical conditions and the interactions that occur while students carry out sports activities are one of the means that can beused to support students' main competencies. Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug through community service activities carried out the installation of paving blocks on the sports field at SMK Aviasi Branti - Lampung to improve the quality of the existing volleyball sports field facilities. Installation of paving blocks was carried out for 2 days involving the academic community of SMK Aviasi Branti - Lampung, assisted by local professionals. Theexistenceofpropervolleyballsportsfield facilities is expected to increase interaction between students, teachers and the community around the school as well as improve physical fitness in order to support the success of teaching and learning in schools.

Abstract

In education in Indonesia, teacher upgrading is carried out, especially discussing the learning system that is suitable for use in the classroom. Among the existing learning systems is the Cooperative Learning system. Cooperative Learning learning system is defined as a group learning activity organized by the principle that learning should be based on changes in social information among its members, and take responsibility for their own learning and be encouraged to improve the learning of other members. This research is to see the Differences in Students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes Using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) Method and the Expository Method. The research method uses experiments. Based on calculations and data analysis, this study has shown that there are differences in learning outcomes between the treated class (experimental) and the untreated class (control). This proves that the mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning process uses the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) method are better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning process uses the expository method.

Abstract

The process of learning mathematics in the classroom is strongly influenced by the role of teachers and students as individuals who are directly involved in the learning process. As an intermediary, the teacher must know where the sources of information for certain knowledge are and regulate the mechanism for obtaining it if students need it at any time. Teachers often have difficulty in carrying out mathematics learning, especially in the material of building space. Students find it difficult to understand concepts in spatial structure, so they seem confused in solving problems related to spatial structure, for example in the form of story questions. In addition, teachers are often confused in determining learning methods so that students can understand the material presented. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of mathematics using the Guide Note Taking method. This research was conducted in the Even Semester. The variables in this study consist of one independent variable and one dependent variable. The mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Guide Note Taking method were considered good. The mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using the guide note taking method were good and satisfying.

Direktorat Jendral Perhubungan Udara mengeluarkan Surat Keputusan SKEP/157/lX/03 tentang Pedoman Pemeliharaan dan Pelaporan Peralatan Fasilitas Elektronika dan Listrik Penerbangan, yang salah satu isinya tentang evaluasi kinerja peralatan elektronika dan listrik penerbangan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketersedian dan tingkat keandalan peralatan.Bandara DR. Ferdinand Lumbantobing mempunyai genset sebagai catu daya listrik cadangan yang harus selal dalam kondisi yang siap pakai dalam menanggung beba disaat pelayanan listrik yang disupply PLN mengalami kegagalan. Karena pentinganya fasilitas pembangkit listrik sebagai catu daya cadangan perlu dilakukan evaluasi kinerja genset terhadap kesiapan operasional dibandara.Untuk mendapatkat nilai tingkat ketersedian dan tingkat keandalan dilakukan langkah-langkah dengan menghitung ; Spesified Operating Time (SOT), Actual Operating Time (AOT), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Realibility dan Availability.Setelah melakukan perhitungan diatas didapat tingkat ketersediaan rata-rata genset masih dalam kategori jarang mengalami kerusakan, dan sesuai SKEP 15/Xl/03 dengan nilai ideal 95% bila dikompensasikan dari beberapa genset yang ada secara sistem terhadap tingkat ketersedian tetap tinggi.

Abstract

 AbstrakPoliteknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug (PPI Curug) berlangganan daya dari PLN sebesar 3 Mega Watt. Sejak awal sistem kelistrikan di Kampus PPI Curug diimplementasikan, belum pernah dilakukan penyesuaian-penyesuaian. Penambahan-penambahan sistem distribusi baru tidak melalui perencanaan yang matang, hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan data bahwa sampai saat ini masih ada bangunan di PPI Curug yang disuplai tegangan 110 V per phase. Upgrade sistem kelistrikan pada beberapa bangunan yang disuplai tegangan 110 V per fase pernah dilakukan secara perlahan-lahan melalui mekanisme penyesuaian instalasi listrik pada bangunan tersebut, dan belum menyentuh pada sistem distribusinya. Jumlah trafo daya yang banyak ternyata tidak sebanding dengan suplai daya yang ditanggung oleh masing-masing trafo, bahkan secara keseluruhan tidak ada trafo yang terbebani lebih dari 40% dari beban nominalnya. ( Salsa, 2019) Pada sisi lain jumlah tagihan langganan daya listrik yang dibayar oleh PPI Curug dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan.Kata Kunci: Daya, Distribusi Tagihan, Trafo AbstractIndonesian Aviation Polytechnic of Curug (PPI Curug) uses power from PLN of 3 Mega Watts. Since the beginning implementation of the electrical system at the PPI Curug Campus, adjustments have never been made. The additions of a new distribution system did not go through careful planning, this can be shown by the data that until now there are still buildings at PPI Curug which are supplied with a voltage of 110 V per phase. Upgrading the electrical system in several buildings that are supplied with a voltage of 110 V per phase has been carried out slowly through the adjustment mechanism of the electrical installation in these buildings, and has not yet touched on the distribution system. The large number of power transformers turned out to be not proportional to the power supply borne by each transformer, and overall none of the transformers was burdened more than 40% of the nominal load. (Salsa, 2019) On the other hand, the number of electricity subscription bills paid by PPI Curug has increased from year to year.Keywords: Bill, Distribution, Power, Transformer
