Abstract

The advancement of science and technology has contributed to an increased consumer awareness regarding the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Currently, trend towards healthier living is developing among consumers, with a growing interest in organic products, such as rice. Despite the rising awareness of healthy food, the high price of organic products often affect the consumers in consuming organic rice. Furthermore, the limited availability of organic rice also plays a significant role in restricting its consumption. This study was conducted to estimate consumers' WTP for organic rice. Through WTP analysis, this research endeavors to measure the extent to which consumers are willing to pay a premium for organic rice. The research was carried out at Superindo in Gresik, involving 51 respondents The research data were analyzed using the CVM. Three types of rice were subjected to WTP analysis: white organic rice, brown organic rice, and black organic rice. The WTP values for white, brown, and black organic rice were obtained as follows: Rp. 38,315.5/kg, Rp. 42,069/kg, and Rp. 49,463/kg, respectively. The differences in consumers' WTP for white, brown, and black organic rice are generally influenced by consumers' perceptions of the health benefits associated with each type of rice.

Abstract

Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan salah satu penghasil padi terbesar di Indonesia, dengan kontribusi mencapai 17,44% terhadap produksi nasional. Namun usahatani padi sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti fluktuasi harga, kenaikan biaya produksi, dan penyempitan lahan akibat alih fungsi. Kondisi ini menyebabkan pendapatan dari usahatani padi menjadi tidak stabil, sehingga banyak petani mencari pendapatan tambahan dari sektor non-pertanian untuk memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi usahatani padi terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Cangkringsari, Kecamatan Sukodono, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 65 petani dipilih menggunakan metode stratified random sampling berdasarkan tiga kategori luas lahan yang dikelola. Data dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan analisis kontribusi, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi usahatani padi terhadap total pendapatan rumah tangga tergolong rendah pada petani dengan luas lahan <0,50 ha (15,70%) dan 0,50-0,86 ha (29,89%). setya tergolong sedang pada petani dengan luas lahan >0,86 ha (32,06%).

Abstract

Purchasing decisions are an important aspect for companies in increasing sales of their products to consumers. This research aims to describe the reasons consumers make purchases online, as well as testing the influence of digital marketing and product quality on purchasing decisions for Npure Toner in the city of Surabaya. The sample determination method was purposive sampling with a total of 95 consumers ass respondents. The technique used ini collecting data is by distributing questionnaires. The first objective was analyzed descriptively qualitatively, the second objective used the SEM PLS 4.1 program to calculate and analyzed the data. The research result show that 1) Online purchase are more effective for Npure Toner consumers in the city of Surabaya in terms of benefits, price, trust, and ease of purchase. 2) Digital marketing dan product quality have a significant and positive influence on purchasing decision.

Abstract

Pepper productivity fluctuates and is also low at 0.46 tons/ha. The export volume and export value of Indonesian Pepper in the International Market are declining. In addition, there is intense competition among pepper exporting countries in the world. The objectives of this study are: to analyze the comparative advantage and competitive advantage of Indonesian Pepper in the International Market over a thirty-year time period from 1993 - 2022. As well as knowing the right policy implications based on pepper export problems in the International Market. The method used in the analysis of comparative advantage is Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) while in the analysis of competitive advantage using the Export Competitiveness Index (ECI). The type of pepper used in this study is dried or crushed or ground pepper seeds, with HS code 0904. The results of this study are that Indonesian Pepper is strongly competitive in terms of pepper exports in the International Market. Evidenced by the results of the RCA value of 9.55 or more than 1. So that Indonesia excels in terms of pepper exports in the International Market. Indonesia's RCA results are lower than India. However, it is higher than China. Whereas in the ECI results, Indonesia is competitively competitive. Evidenced by the results of the ECI value of 1.01 or more than 1. Policy implications in pepper exports are increased production, improved upstream and downstream processing, expansion of market share, and government support and policies. Improved production is expected to increase the volume of pepper exports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and marketing channels in the Etawa crossbred goat farming business in Banjaragung Village, Balongpanggang District, Gresik Regency. The population in this study was 16 Etawa crossbred goat farmers in Banjaragung Village. This study used business feasibility analysis, which included the calculation of the B/C Ratio, BEP unit, BEP price, BEP income, and the marketing margin analysis method to determine the efficiency level of the marketing channel. The result of the B/C Ratio calculation is 0,23, which means that the business is feasible to run because the result is more than 0. The result of the BEP unit calculation is 0,55 heads (1 head), the BEP price per head is Rp.2.317.214, and the BEP income is Rp.1.550.110, which means that the business is feasible to run because the average results obtained by farmers exceed the break-even point and the results of the calculation of the marketing margin analysis show that all farmers have a farmer share value above 50%, which means that all farmers have chosen an efficient marketing channel, namely marketing channel I (Farmers-Consumers) with a farmer share value of 100% and marketing channel II (Farmers-Blantik-Consumers) with a farmer share value of 90,34%.

Abstract

Indonesia's position as one of the largest rubber producing countries in the world does not make Indonesia a major rubber exporter on the international market. This research aims to analyze comparative competitiveness, competitive competitiveness and specialization of Indonesian rubber trade in the international market. The research methods used are Revealed Comparative Trade Advantage (RTCA), Export Competitiveness Index (XCi), and Trade Specialization Index (ISP). This research uses secondary data for the 2012-2021 period obtained from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and processed using Microsoft Excel tools. The research results show that Indonesian rubber commodities do not have comparative competitiveness, competitive competitiveness and trade specialization as a rubber importer in the international market. RCTA analysis shows an average value of -1.187 placing Indonesia in fourth position among other competing countries. XCi analysis shows an average value of 0.817 making Indonesia the country with the lowest competitiveness compared to other competing countries. ISP analysis shows that Indonesia tends to be a rubber importer with an average value of -0.573 and is at the import substitution stage.

Abstract

Kebaya sebagai salah satu kekayaan budaya Indonesia memiliki nilai estetika dan simbolis yang kaya, serta memainkan peran penting dalam memperkuat identitas budaya dan mendukung industri fesyen lokal. Dalam konteks pengembangan UMKM di Kota Malang, kebaya menjadi produk unggulan yang memiliki potensi pasar tinggi, khususnya di sektor pariwisata. Namun, tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh UMKM seperti “Dina Kebaya” adalah minimnya pengetahuan dan penguasaan teknologi digital untuk promosi produk. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancang untuk mendampingi pelaku UMKM melalui pelatihan digital marketing, dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan media sosial dan pembuatan konten yang menarik. Pelatihan ini melibatkan sosialisasi, diskusi kendala, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam menggunakan platform digital. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif menunjukkan hasil positif, termasuk peningkatan keterampilan digital peserta, penguasaan strategi pemasaran, serta perluasan jangkauan pasar. Program ini diharapkan tidak hanya mendukung keberlanjutan usaha UMKM berbasis kebaya tetapi juga memperkuat eksistensi kebaya sebagai simbol budaya dalam industri modern.

Abstract

Kecamatan Wonosalam, Jombang, dikenal sebagai salah satu wilayah terbesar dalamproduksi buah durian dan dikenal dengan kampung durian wonosalam, KabupatenJombang. Namun, dampak negatif dari keberadaan kampung durian di wilayahWonosalam adalah penumpukan limbah kulit durian yang berjumlah besar. Untukmengatasi permasalahan ini, diperlukan inovasi dalam pengelolaan limbah kulit duriandengan melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat secara luas. Dalam rangka mengatasipermasalahan penumpukan limbah kulit durian yang tinggi, dilakukan kegiatanpengabdian masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat dalam hal ini adalahmemberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada petani cara mengolah limbah kulitdurian menjadi briket. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di kediaman ketua kelompok taniRT/RW 12/14, Dusun Sumber Wetan, Desa Wonosalam, Kecamatan Wonosalam,Jombang. Dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat Tanggal 18 Agustus 2023. Peserta yangdiikutsertakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah kelompok tani Sumber Wetan. Adapun metodepelaksanaan kerja yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dalam bentuk FocusGroup Discussion (FGD), dan ceramah/penyuluhan. Hasil kegiatan ini melibatkanbeberapa tahapan, mulai dari berkoordinasi dengan masyarakat setempat, sosialisasimengenai dampak negatif penumpukan sampah kulit durian, pelatihan untukmemberikan keterampilan kepada masyarakat, hingga penyusunan laporan danpenyebarluasan hasil pengabdian melalui publikasi ilmiah. Selain memberikan dampakpositif terhadap kebersihan lingkungan, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini jugaberkontribusi pada pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat setempat, mendorong merekauntuk mandiri dan memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan melalui penguasaan keterampilaninovatif dalam pembuatan biobriket ramah lingkungan dari limbah kulit durian diwilayah Wonosalam, Jombang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi petani dan peran pendamping terhadap digitalisasi pertanian durian di Kecamatan Wonosalam, Kabupaten Jombang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel laten. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 85 Responden petani durian di Kecamatan Wonosalam Kabupaten Jombang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi petani memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap adopsi digitalisasi pertanian, sementara peran pendamping tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap digitalisasi pertanian, tetapi secara signifikan memengaruhi persepsi petani. Dengan demikian, pendampingan yang efektif dapat membentuk persepsi positif petani terhadap teknologi digital, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan adopsi teknologi tersebut. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar program penyuluhan dan pelatihan teknologi digital bagi petani diperkuat untuk mempercepat proses digitalisasi di sektor pertanian.
