Abstract

Kemampuan spasial matematis merupakan hal yang penting yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa, Dimana untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial perlu dilakukan perbaikan dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah melakukan inovasi, khususnya pada modul ajar yang digunakan. Modul ajar saat ini yang tersedia berupa modul biasa berupa cetakan atau file pdf, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengembangan modul agar lebih menarik dan menyesuaikan kebutuhan pengguna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan e-modul hypercontent pada materi geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadopsi model Rowntree dengan 3 tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes kemampuan spasial yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Geometri di semester gasal 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tersusunnya e-modul hypercontent yang dinyatakan valid oleh ahli dan penggunaan e-modul hypercontent dapat meningkatkan kemampuan spasial mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research aims to design Student Worksheets (LKM) for the Discrete Mathematics course, where the LKM design is structured so that the LKM can be used in the Rigorous Teaching and Learning (RTL) learning model. The results of the lecturers' reflections found that the main problem lies in the content of the material in textbooks which is not interesting, students are often unable to understand the textbooks they own, especially in solving the questions given. This has implications for 1) lack of motivation to learn, 2) lack of understanding of the material, 3) fear of expressing opinions, and 4) lectures are less effective and less enjoyable. Therefore, teaching materials need to be packaged appropriately according to the substance and conditions of students in LKM. The research design used in this research is Thiagarajan's 4-D development model. This model is a system of educational development approaches that are carried out in 4 sessions, namely Define or Introduction where in this session preliminary analysis, student analysis, and needs analysis are carried out, Design or Planning where in this session what is done is format selection, initial design and design preparation, Develop or Development where in this session validation and limited trials are carried out, as well as Disseminate or Disseminate where in this session the LKM is given to the teaching lecturers. This research produces an LKM that is used in Discrete Mathematics courses.

Abstract

Siswa SD sering kesulitan memahami geometri spasial akibat kurangnya media interaktif. Penelitian ini mengembangkan buku pop-up untuk bangun ruang (kubus) berbasis model ADDIE. Merancang, memvalidasi, dan mengevaluasi kelayakan buku pop-up serta dampaknya pada keterlibatan siswa. Melibatkan analisis kebutuhan, desain (Canva), validasi ahli, dan uji coba dengan 30 siswa/guru di SD Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala Likert dan observasi. Buku pop-up sangat layak (konten: 93%, teknis: 97%, pedagogis: 86%) dan mendapat respons positif dari guru (96%) dan siswa (84%). Hasil membuktikan efektivitas buku pop-up untuk geometri spasial, dengan rekomendasi pengembangan berbasis AR/PPT di masa depan.

Abstract

The seminar titled "Deep Learning Based on Moral Messages in Mathematics Learning" was conducted for mathematics teachers in the MGMP (Subject Teacher Forum) of Kubu Raya Regency as a response to the need for enhancing the quality of learning that emphasizes not only cognitive but also affective aspects. The concept of deep learning in this seminar was emphasized through three core principles: awareness, meaningfulness, and enjoyment. These principles aim to create reflective, contextual learning experiences that motivate students to think critically and develop deep, lasting understanding. In addition, the integration of moral messages in mathematics learning referred to Thomas Lickona’s theory, which includes moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action as a comprehensive foundation for character education. Attended by 31 junior high school mathematics teachers, the seminar ran smoothly and was met with high enthusiasm. Questionnaire results showed that 93.7% of teachers agreed on the importance of deep conceptual understanding in learning, while 87.5% emphasized the importance of discipline and mutual respect in classroom interactions. These findings indicate strong teacher support for a holistic learning approach that fosters both conceptual mastery and moral character development among students.Deep Learning Berbasis Pesan Moral dalam Pembelajaran Matematika bagi Guru MGMP Matematika Kubu RayaABSTRAKSeminar bertajuk "Deep Learning Berbasis Pesan Moral dalam Pembelajaran Matematika" diselenggarakan untuk guru MGMP Matematika Kabupaten Kubu Raya sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga afektif. Konsep deep learning dalam seminar ini ditekankan melalui tiga prinsip utama, yaitu berkesadaran, bermakna, dan menggembirakan. Ketiganya bertujuan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang reflektif, kontekstual, dan memotivasi siswa untuk berpikir kritis serta membangun pemahaman yang mendalam. Di sisi lain, penguatan pesan moral dalam pembelajaran matematika mengacu pada teori Thomas Lickona yang mencakup pengetahuan, perasaan, dan tindakan moral sebagai satu kesatuan dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Seminar ini diikuti oleh 31 guru dan berlangsung lancar serta penuh antusiasme. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa 93,7% guru menyatakan pentingnya pemahaman konsep secara mendalam dalam pembelajaran, sementara 87,5% guru menilai sikap disiplin dan saling menghargai dalam lingkungan kelas sebagai aspek penting yang perlu ditanamkan. Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak to test the effect of project-basedlearning (PjBL) on students' motivation levels and learning outcomes, and to understand the extent towhich perceptions of mathematics learning are related to motivation and learning outcomes. The methodused was an experiment with a posttest-only control design. The analysis showed that applying the PjBLmodel significantly affected learning motivation (sig value = 0.045) and learning outcomes (sig value =0.000). In addition, there was a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions ofmathematics learning and their motivation to learn (sig value = 0.000), although the relationship was notfound with learning outcomes (sig value = 0.933). Overall, the interaction between students' perceptionsand motivation on learning outcomes did not show a significant effect (sig value = 0.358). Therefore, itcan be concluded that the use of the project-based learning model is effective in improving student’smotivation and learning outcomes.Keywords: Project-based learning, motivation, learning outcomes

Abstract

Intrapersonal intelligence can help students solve mathematical problems, and each student has different abilities depending on their level of intelligence. This study aimed to determine and explain students' mathematical problem-solving skills on congruence material in relation to intrapersonal intelligence. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used. The instruments included an intrapersonal intelligence questionnaire, a mathematical problem-solving skills test, and an interview guide. The results show that students' intrapersonal intelligence falls into three categories: high (21.43%), medium (60.71%), and low (17.86%). Students with high intrapersonal intelligence were able to fulfill all four indicators of mathematical problem-solving skills: understanding the problem, planning the solution, implementing the solution plan, and reviewing the solution. Students with medium intrapersonal intelligence were able to fulfill three indicators: understanding the problem, planning the solution, and implementing the solution plan. Students with low intrapersonal intelligence were able to fulfill two indicators: understanding the problem and planning the solution.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes flexible, student-centered learning, incorporating the dimension of Faith, Piety to God Almighty, and Noble Character, which integrates religious values into education. One manifestation of this is memorizing the Qur'an, which not only strengthens spirituality but also enhances memory and cognitive consistency. This study analyzes the relationship between the quantity of Qur'an memorization and mathematics learning outcomes at SIGM As-Sakinah. Data were collected from the final semester tasmi’ assessments for the 2023/2024 academic year and students' average midterm and final exam scores in mathematics. Prerequisite tests confirmed that the data were normally distributed and linear. Simple linear regression and ANOVA tests using SPSS 24 yielded an R value of 0.639 and an R² of 40.8%, indicating that the amount of memorization contributes to mathematics learning outcomes. The ANOVA test produced an F-value of 9.667 with a significance level of 0.008 (p < 0.05), confirming a significant relationship between variables. The regression equation Y=64.119+2.709XY = 64.119 + 2.709XY=64.119+2.709X suggests that each additional juz memorized increases mathematics learning outcomes. These findings affirm that Qur'an memorization positively contributes to students' cognitive development.Kurikulum Merdeka Dan Dimensi Keimanan: Pengaruh Hapalan Al-Qur’an Terhadap Hasil Belajar MatematikaABSTRAKKurikulum Merdeka menekankan pembelajaran fleksibel dan berpusat pada peserta didik, dengan dimensi Beriman, Bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan Berakhlak Mulia yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam pendidikan. Salah satu bentuknya adalah menghafal Al-Qur’an, yang tidak hanya memperkuat spiritualitas tetapi juga melatih daya ingat dan konsistensi kognitif. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara jumlah hafalan Al-Qur’an dengan hasil belajar matematika di SIGM As-Sakinah. Data diperoleh dari hasil tasmi’ hafalan akhir semester ganjil serta nilai rata-rata UTS dan UAS matematika. Uji prasyarat menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan linear. Analisis regresi linear sederhana dan uji ANOVA menggunakan SPSS 24 menunjukkan nilai R = 0.639 dan R² = 40.8%, yang berarti jumlah hafalan berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Uji ANOVA menghasilkan nilai F = 9.667 dengan signifikansi 0.008 (p < 0.05), mengonfirmasi hubungan signifikan antara variabel. Persamaan regresi Y=64.119+2.709X menunjukkan bahwa setiap tambahan satu juz hafalan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest, untuk menganalisis perubahan kemampuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan strategi TTW. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas X di SMKN 2 Pontianak yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pemilihan sampel ini didasarkan pada pertimbangan tertentu yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis yang dirancang khusus untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah valid dan reliabel. Tes ini diberikan dua kali, yaitu pretest dan posttest penerapan strategi TTW dalam pembelajaran materi barisan dan deret aritmatika. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, paired sample T-Test, dan uji N-Gain dengan menggunakan SPSS dan excel pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi TTW secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata skor posttest meningkat dari kategori rendah menjadi sedang setelah penerapan strategi. Peningkatan ini mengindikasikan bahwa strategi TTW efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam konteks matematika, khususnya pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi TTW merupakan metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Strategi TTW direkomendasikan bagi guru matematika karena dapat memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, mengembangkan pemahaman konsep matematika, dan meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah kompleks.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine students' mathematical lateral thinking skills in creative problem-solving, differences in subjects' answers based on the level of their study period, and factors that affect students' lateral thinking skills. The descriptive method was used in the form of an educational survey. The sampling technique used in this research was stratified random sampling. The research subjects were first, third, and fifth-semester students of Mathematics Education at FKIP Tanjungpura University in 2019. The data collection technique used was the "Paper-and-pencil Assessment," with the written test sheet adopted from the Mathematical Lateral Logic Test by Bruce Woodcock. The results showed that students' lateral mathematical thinking skills in creative problem-solving were in the poor category, with an average score of 9.39 out of 25. The results of statistical tests with a value of χ2 indicated that the answers to the subjects were different based on the level of study. The ability to recognize dominant ideas and the polarization of perception of the problem, and the ability to use other ideas are the dominant factors affecting the level of students' mathematical lateral thinking skills in all subject groups. In general, the way of thinking with formal logic or thinking vertically affected students' lateral thinking patterns.
