Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative script menggunakan bahan ajar STEM terhadap penguasaan konsep matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknik acak kelas, sehingga kelas VII D sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 menerapkan model cooperative script, kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 menerapkan model pembelajaran cooperative script menggunakan bahan ajar STEM dan kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Anova diperoleh nilai Fhitung = 7,1075 3,12 = Ftabel, artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative script menggunakan bahan ajar STEM terhadap  penguasaan konsep matematis peserta didik. Pengujian dilanjutkan dengan uji scheffe’ dengan penerimaan µ1 Vs µ2 serta penolakan µ1 Vs µ3 dan µ2 Vs µ3. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran cooperative script menggunakan bahan ajar STEM memberikan kemampuan penguasaan konsep matematis yang lebih baik dibandingan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted at SMPN 24 Bandar Lampung. The subjects are students of class 4 VII.i consisting of two people from each of the cognitive styles. The data collection is by observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Data analysis technique conducted by: (1) collection data in four categories: (a) analyze and understand the problem (b) designing and planning solution (c) explore solutions to difficult problems (d) verify the solution, then reduce the data are not included in four categories, (2) explaining data with narrative text, and (3) concluded intuition profiles of students in each category.The results of this study indicate that the profile intuition students in mathematical problem solving for cognitive style (1) Field Independent students: (a) understand analyze problems using intuition affirmatory that are directly by reading and changing the information in the form of pictures and look about to find out who asked, (b) designing and planning solutions using intuition anticipatory that is global, (c) explore solutions to difficult problems are not using intuition, using suitable means plans made, (d) verify the solution does not use intuition, check the answer by checking formula used and recalculated the answers that have been obtained. (2) Field Dependent student: (a) understand and analyze problems using intuition affirmatory that is direct, experiencing difficulty in determining what is asked, (b) designing and planning solutions using intuition anticipatoryglobal nature, although it can make a plan in the search for solutions but not until the final solution, (c) explore solutions to difficult problems are not using intuition, using the system as planned, (d) verify the solution does not use intuition, recalculating the answers that have been obtained in the same manner.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 24 Bandar Lampung. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa kelas VII.i yang terdiri dari 2 orang dari masing-masing gaya kognitif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara: (1) mengelompokkan data dalam 4 kategori: (a) menganalisis dan memahami masalah (b) merancang dan merencanakan solusi (c) mengeksplorasi solusi untuk masalah yang sulit (d) memverifikasi solusi, kemudian mereduksi data yang tidak termasuk dalam 4 kategori tersebut, (2) menyajikan data dalam bentuk teks naratif, dan (3) menyimpulkan profil intuisi siswa pada masing-masing kategori. Hasil penelitianini menunjukkan bahwa profil intuisi siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika untuk gaya kognitif (1) siswa Field Independent: (a) memahami menganalisis masalah menggunakan intuisi kehiafirmatori yang bersifat langsung dengan cara membaca dan mengubah informasi kedalam bentuk gambar dan melihat soal untuk mengetahui yang ditanyakan, (b) merancang dan merencanakan solusi menggunakan intuisi antisipatori yang bersifat global, (c) mengeksplorasi solusi untuk masalah yang sulit tidak menggunakan intuisi, menggunakan cara sesuai perencanaan yang dibuat, (d) memverifikasi solusi tidak menggunakan intuisi, memeriksa jawaban dengan mengecek rumus yang digunakan dan menghitung kembali jawaban yang telah diperoleh. (2) siswa Field Dependent: (a) memahami dan menganalisis masalah menggunakan intuisi afirmatori yang bersifat langsung, mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan apa yang ditanyakan, (b) merancang dan merencanakan solusi menggunakan intuisi antisipatori yang bersifat global, meskipun dapat membuat rencana dalam mencari solusi namun tidak sampai solusi akhir, (c) mengeksplorasi solusi untuk masalah yang sulit tidak menggunakan intuisi, menggunakan cara sesuai dengan yang direncanakan, (d) memverifikasi solusi tidak menggunakan intuisi, menghitung kembali jawaban yang telah diperoleh dengan cara yang sama.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending (CORE) learning model with mnemonic techniques on students' creative thinking skills and metacognitive awareness. The research method was a quasi-experimental design. Data on creative thinking skills were collected using essay test instruments and metacognitive awareness using questionnaires. This research was conducted on the eighth-grade students of a secondary school in Tulang Baawang Lampung with a sample of 60 students taken by using the cluster random sampling technique. The data analysis technique was two-way ANOVA. Based on the test results, the first hypothesis is shown F(2) = 12.92, p < .05, the CORE learning model affects mnemonic techniques on students' creative thinking abilities. The second hypothesis shows F(2) = 19.97, p < .05, the high, medium, and low metacognitive awareness categories affect students' creative thinking abilities. The third hypothesis shows that F(4) = 1.65, p < .05, there is no interaction between the CORE learning model and mnemonic techniques with metacognitive awareness of students' creative thinking abilities. The impact of this research is the model can be a solution for mathematics teaching and learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Tari Bambu dipadukan dengan CRH terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi segi empat dan segitiga. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 160 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Eksperiment Design. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa soal tes pemahaman konsep, wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Anova Satu Jalan dan dan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Tari Bambu dipadukan dengan CRH lebih baik daripada menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Model Tari Bambu dapat memberikan informasi secara merata. Model pembelajaran CRH mampu membuat siswa menjadi senang ketika pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of algebraic finger-based brain gym methods on improving student learning outcomes. This study uses grade VII students MTs. Al-Hidayat Gerning consisting of 4 (four) classes as population, then by cluster random sampling technique obtained class VII A and VII B as research samples. This study uses a quasi-experimental method, the independent variable is the algebraic finger-based brain gym method and the dependent variable is the increase in learning outcomes. Data collection using test techniques, with the research instrument in the form of a matter of description which amounted to 6 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and different power. Data analysis was performed using a t-test of 2 uncorrelated samples. The results revealed that the algebraic finger-based brain gym method has an influence on improving student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes after learning with the algebra finger-based brain gym method obtained an average of 56.25 while the improvement in the learning outcomes of the control class gained an average of 37.50. After testing the hypothesis with t-test 2 uncorrelated samples obtained tcount = 5.7774> ttable = 2.0017. So it can be concluded that the algebraic finger-based brain gym method affects the improvement in student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to exploration of traditional crafts Tapis Lampung as ilustration STEM. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The results showed that (1) Science: as an illustration of the ability of scientific knowledge and biological acculturation processes found in animal motive that describe the elements of science, such as the Tapis Tuho motive which has dragon animal motives, aro wood, stars silver, and sasab titled. (2) Technology: as an illustration of new technologies emerging from globalization with the entry of Islam in Lampung, the implications for communication and traffic between the Indonesian archipelago so that the use of shipping transportation is needed, can be explored from the existence of a Tapis Single Ship which shows the diversity of forms and construction. (3) Technology: as an illustration of engineering technology that is developed through an design process by integrating other elements, it can be explored from the mountains motives, dragon ship motives, and hill motives that resemble bridges. (4) Mathematics: as a geometrical illustration of transformation, which can be expressed as a form of translation, rotation), reflection, and dilation.. Through the investigation of Tapis Lampung, it can be used as a source to disseminate and provide information about Indonesian local wisdom to the world.

Abstract

Alam Gemisegh merupakan salah satu tradisi masyarakat Lampung yang perlu dilestarikan, karena tanpa disadari terdapat konsep etnomatematika di dalamnya yang menjadi dasar terbentuknya berbagai konsep matematis pada budaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menggali aktivitas etnomatematika yang terdapat pada alam gemisegh. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Bandar Lampung dan Krui. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini melibatkan tiga subjek penelitian yang merupakan tokoh adat dan budayawan Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Triangulasi sumber dan teknik merupakan triangulasi yang digunakan dalam uji keabsahan data pada penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat aktivitas etnomatematika yang ditemukan pada alam gemisegh melingkupi aktivitas membilang yang diverifikasi dengan pengucapan banyaknya kayu pada bentuk kerangka alam gemisegh, aktivitas mengukur yaitu yang melandasi terciptanya pola pada bentuk kerangka dan kain atau pernak-pernik alam gemisegh, dan aktivitas merancang bangun yang kuat hubungannya terhadap geometri

Abstract

Trigonometry is one of mathematics material that is discussed about angels and the measuring of the angels. The application of trigonometry in daily life such us made of buildings. Architectural could not be able to build the buildings without the application of trigonometry. This research was aimed to know the improving concept of trigonometry for students by learning trigonometry with pocketbook assistance based on Islamic value. The research was conducted in SMAN 2 Liwa, West Lampung on April 2018. The aspect that was tested in this research was the improving concept of trigonometry for students. This research used experimental method according to quasi experimental design based on nonequivalent control group design. Technique sampling that was used cluster sampling technique. The research was begun by given pretest, then learned concept of trigonometry by using pocketbook based on Islamic value, and given post-test in the last learning in order to see the improving concept of trigonometry by pretest and posttest.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the maximum profits in startup model business by using linear programming in simplex method. The type of research are field and literature based study by observation, examining journals, and text books in relation to the researched-project. The steps undergone within this research are: 1) Observing, interviewing, documenting 2) Curating the mathematics model and 3) Optimizing profits. The research was conducted at GoGoCourse in 2018. It has shown that the offline classroom program of GoGoCourse has not run optimally which can be seen from the profit earned in 2018 at only Rp.83.508.400,- however in optimal level, the profit could reach Rp.175.155.000,-. The calculation is summed up from the total of 21 advance TOEFL classes, 9 IELTS classes, and 26 short courses classes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku saku digital yang valid, layak, menarik dan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembngan 4D dari Thiagajaran yang terdiri atas 4 langkah yaitu: define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII MTs di Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, angket validator ahli materi dan media, angket respon kemenarikan peserta didik, dan tes. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media memperoleh skor 3,69 dan 3,75 dengan kriteria “layak”, hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar memperoleh skor 3,7 dan 3,79 dengan kriteria “sangat menarik”, sementara hasil uji efektifitas memperoleh skor N-gain sebsar 0,72 dengan ketegori “tinggi”. Simpulannya adalah buku saku digital berbasis android bercirikan etnomatematika dinyatakan valid, layak, menarik, dan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran matematika.
