Abstract

Mathematical problem solving ability is one of the things that must be owned by students in learning mathematics. Students have low mathematical problem solving abilities caused by difficulties in solving mathematical problems that require logic. The research is aimed to determine the effect of the Alqurun Teaching Model on mathematical and gender problem solving abilities. This research is quantitative research. The population were 264 in eighth grade students of SMPN 17 Bandar Lampung. Sampling technique used by sample random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used the normality test with Liliefors test and homogeneity test with Barlett test. Hypothesis testing using the two-way cell ANAVA test is not the same. The results showed that there was an influence of the Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) learning model on mathematical and gender problem solving abilities. The mathematical problem solving abilities of female students are better than male students in the Alqurun Teaching Model learning.

Abstract

Karakter akhlak dalam abad 21 dapat dibentuk dengan meningkatkan aspek pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap pembentukan karakter akhlak siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi-Eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua subjek kelompok dengan dua kelas eksperimen sebanyak 63 siswa. Data pengujian hipotesis uji-t 2 sampel tak berkolerasi diperoleh dengan soal essay berdasarkan indikator. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh model pembelajaran STAD memiliki pengaruh yang lebih baik terhadap pembentukan karakter akhlak siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran PBL. Sehingga model STAD dapat dijadikan solusi pembelajaran abad 21.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between environmental literacy and mathematical literacy on the ability of students' Computer Self Efficacy. This quantitative study uses a Correlational Design research design. The data collection techniques in this study were environmental literacy tests, mathematical literacy tests, and a Computer Self Efficacy ability questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Simple and Multiple Linear Regression. Based on the results obtained from research and calculations of Simple and Multiple Linear Regression analysis, it was concluded that there is a relationship between environmental literacy and the ability of Computer Self Efficacy of students, there is a relationship between mathematical literacy and the ability of Computer Self Efficacy of students, and there is a relationship between environmental literacy and mathematical literacy with the ability of students' Computer Self Efficacy. The magnitude of the influence of environmental literacy and mathematical literacy on the ability of Computer Self Efficacy is 39.2%.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the correlation between the level of online game addiction and student achievement in the Mathematics Education Study Program, UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The method in this research was quantitative with the type of correlation research. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and tested it to see the validity and reliability. The data analysis technique in this study used the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov method and the linearity test using SPSS software version 24.0, and hypothesis testing using a correlation test with a significant level of 0.05 or 5%. The study results were that of the 30 questionnaires tested, 25 questions were feasible to use. The reliability test has a value of rcount > rtable. The normality test got a significant value of 0.065 and 0.066 on online game addiction and learning achievement. So it can be said that there is a significant correlation between student achievement and online game addiction, and the value is 0.307, which means correlation

Abstract

The ability to solve problems and the ability to communicate mathematically in a student's study is a skill that students need to provide asa basis for resolving mathematical problems. Based on the results of daily mathematicians saying that the ability to solve problems and mathematical communications at MTS Darul A'mal Metro is still low, judging by the student's process of resolving mathematical problems caused by many who pay no attention to the explanations presented by teachers and students are not able to solve math problems properly. In addition, there are less diverse learning models. To address the problem, researchers applied the CRI model with IOC techniques. The purpose of this study is to know the difference between the CRI learning model with the IOC and the direct learning model of problem solving and student mathematical corover. This research is an experiment quasy research. Sample demonstration techniques using the simple random sampling technique. The samples in this study are class VII D as an experiment class and class VII E as a control class. The instrument used to collect data is a description test. The custom data analysis technique used was the normality test, the homogenity test and the hypothetical test used the manova test. Based on manova's test results of Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Iambda, Hotelling's Trace, Roy's Lagest Root  and value a test criteria  which means that the p-value value is smaller than a test criteria, so that ho is thus denied it can be inconclusive that there is an influence between the CRI model and the IOC techniques of student solving and mathematical communication capability

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran FERA berbantuan Video pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif dan penalaran adaptif matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Ekperimental design dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan rancangan pretest dan posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan metakognitif dan penalaran adaptif matematis pada materi matriks. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji Manova Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajran FERA berbantuan video pembelajaran dalam meningkatan kemampuan metakognitif siswa dan, (2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran FERA berbantuan video pembelajaran dalam meningkatan kemampuan penalaran adaptif matematis siswa dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran FERA berbantuan video pembelajaran dalam meningkatan kemampuan metakognitif dan kemampuan penalaran adaptif matematis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian matematika berbasis kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) yang valid, reliabel, dan memiliki daya beda dan tingkat kesukaran yang baik. Pengembangan soal mengacu pada model Borg dan Gall. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik angket dan tes. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket kebutuhan dan tes soal matematika berbasis HOTS. Penelitian ini melibatkan 15 calon guru SD. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian matematika berbasis HOTS memperoleh skor validitas sebesar (kriteria valid), skor reliabelitas sebesar  (kriteri valid), skor uji daya beda sebesar  (kriteria DB yang baik), dan skor uji tingkat kesukaran sebesar  (kriteria tingkat kesukaran sedang). Sehingga telah memenuhi semua kriteria uji instrument tes baik, yaitu valid, reliabel, daya beda yang baik dan tingkat kesukaran sedang. Implikasi hasil penelitian terhadap pembelajaran matematika calon guru sekolah dasar yaitu menjadi salah satu reverensi pedoman dalam mengembangkan instrument penilaian matematika dan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi caloh guru sekolah dasar.This study aims to develop a mathematical assessment instrument based on higher order thinking skills (HOTS) that is valid, reliable, and has good distinguishing power and difficulty level. The development of questions refers to the Borg and Gall models. Data collection was done by using questionnaires and tests. The research instrument consisted of a needs questionnaire and a HOTS-based math test. This study involved 15 prospective elementary school teachers. The results of data analysis showed that the HOTS-based mathematical assessment instrument obtained a validity score of  (valid criterion), reliability score of  (valid criterion), difference power test score of  (good discrimination criteria), and the difficulty level test score is  (medium difficulty criteria). So that it has met all the criteria for a good test instrument test, namely valid, reliable, good discriminating power and moderate level of difficulty. The implications of the research results on the mathematics learning of elementary school teacher candidates is to become one of the reference guidelines in developing mathematics assessment instruments and in developing high-level thinking skills for elementary school teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce media products based on articulate Studio'13 in mathematics subjects that were appropriate, interesting and effective in learning. This research is a type of research and development (R & D) by modifying 10 stages into 7 stages, namely; potential and problems, information collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, and product revisions. Assessment of media feasibility is carried out by material experts and media experts. Assessment and attractiveness of students. The effectiveness of the product is seen as a percentage > 75% of the number of students who passed the KKM. This research resulted in Articulate Studio '13 learning media proven to be valid and feasible to be used as learning media after getting a score of 88.3% from 3 material experts, and a value of 86.1% from 3 media experts. For attractiveness assessments get the criteria "very feasible" based on small-scale trials that get an assessment of 77%, and large-scale trials get a value of 80%. After the final assessment was made it was stated that 79.17% of students passed the KKM than  the media was declared effective. So that it can be concluded that the development of learning media has carried out is deemed feasible, interesting, and effective to use in learning.

Abstract

Low understanding of mathematical concepts in mathematical learning is due to a lack of learning strategies. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of Habits of Mind (HOM) on students' visual thinking in understanding mathematical concepts. Costa and Kallick's 16-category HOM questionnaires were used as research instruments. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known not to have the ability habits of mindfully. The results showed the profile of HOM in the understanding of the mathematics of students with visual thinking is still classified as sufficient criteria. And overall, the average Habits of Mind indicator obtained is 66.61% included in the requirements enough. Students who have Habits of Mind and good visual thinking will more easily understand mathematics. In contrast, Habits of Mind and visual thinking that is not good will be more difficult to understand mathematics.
