Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in Scouting learning that are still confessional so that they are not effectively understood and the use of digital technology that has yet to be maximized. This research aims to develop a quality Digital Teaching Module for Elementary Scout Practices by testing its validity and practicality. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were two media experts, two material experts, two design experts, two lecturers, and 12 students who had attended scouting lectures. The data collection method used was a questionnaire with an instrument in the form of a rating scale sheet. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The results showed that: (1) the developed media prototype consists of 3 main parts, namely the opening, core, and closing views; (2) the validity test results show an average score of 93.83% material experts, 96.66% design experts and 95.33% media experts with very good qualifications, (3) the results of the practicality test show an average individual test score of 97.5%, small group test 98.61% and by practitioners of 96.66%. This study concludes that the digital teaching module for elementary scout practices developed is very valid and practical to be developed in learning.

Abstract

Era globalisasi mendorong sistem pendidikan untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi digital dan pendekatan baru yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat modern. Dalam konteks ini, Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia hadir untuk mendukung pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan literasi digital. Namun, realita menunjukkan bahwa banyak guru menghadapi kendala dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran dan mengelola kelas secara efektif, sehingga menghambat pencapaian tujuan kurikulum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan level keberdayaan keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran dan manajemen kelas. Penelitian menggunakan metode campuran dengan subjek 50 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Prosedur meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan penguatan kompetensi guru, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Analisis data kuesioner secara deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan persepsi positif terhadap keterampilan guru, sementara uji t mengindikasikan perbedaan signifikan dalam hasil pembelajaran sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LSLC efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru, terutama dalam penggunaan teknologi dan manajemen kelas. Selain itu, LSLC mendukung kolaborasi guru, menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih relevan, interaktif, dan inklusif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini meliputi peningkatan profesionalisme guru dan pencapaian tujuan Kurikulum Merdeka, sekaligus menawarkan model pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk mendukung implementasi kurikulum di berbagai konteks pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a virtual tour based on artificial intelligence for vocational high school students in the field of tourism in developing English language competencies for guides. This study contributes to the development of innovative technology-based learning media to improve the English language competence of vocational high school students in the field of tourism. This study adopts a design-based research approach utilizing the ADDIE instructional design model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data analysis in this study will employ both qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings of this study indicate a significant improvement in students' English language competence after using the Artificial Intelligence-Based Virtual Tour. The large effect size (Cohen’s d = 2.14) further confirms the strong impact of this intervention, demonstrating its effectiveness in improving students' abilities in English communication for guiding. The implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Virtual Tour enables interactive simulations that resemble real-life situations in the tourism world, providing direct exposure for students to practice in a professional context. With the automatic evaluation and feedback features of AI, students can improve their language skills effectively, flexibly, and sustainably, making it a relevant approach to developing English language competency in the tourism sector.

Abstract

Siswa yang kurang memahami pembelajaran online khususnya pelajaran IPA. Hal ini karena kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan teknologi dan membuat media pembelajaran. Hal berdampak pada kemampuan, minat, motivasi, dan hasil belajar yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan video pembelajaran berlandasan Tri Hita Karana pada materi ekosistem kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan model 4-D . Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 2 ahli media, dan 2 ahli materi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan kuesioner. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu ratting scale. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu penilaian yang diberikan oleh ahli materi I yaitu 98,66% dan materi II 96%. Rata-rata penilaian yaitu 97,33% (kualifikasi sangat baik). Hasil penilaian ahli media I yaitu 96% dan ahli media II yaitu 93.,33%. Rata-rata penilaian yang diberikan ahli media yaitu 94,66% (sangat baik). Disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Video pembelajaran dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar IPA.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in mathematics learning in grade V is the low metacognitive ability and numerical literacy of students. This happens because the evaluation given is still limited to memorizing formulas alone. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of ethnomathematics-based e-evaluation to improve students' numerical literacy and metacognitive abilities. The research model used is the ADDIE development model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects of this study were 35 grade V students. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire and test. The data collection instrument in this study will use a rating scale and a short essay test. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the t-test table on the metacognitive ability variable, it was found that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000. These results indicate that the significance value is less than 0.05 (significance level 5%) or p <0.05. This means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Then in the numerical literacy variable, it was found that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000. These results indicate that the significance value is less than 0.05 (significance level 5%) or p <0.05. This means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that ethnomathematics-based e-evaluation can be used in mathematics learning because it is effective in improving students' metacognitive and literacy abilities.

Abstract

The problem of this research departs from the low critical thinking and metacognitive skills of students in learning mathematics, especially in flat building materials. This is caused by learning approaches that tend to be conventional and lack of linking mathematical concepts with the context of everyday life, so that students have difficulty understanding the material in depth. This study aims to create an animation video based on Balinese ethnomathematics that is valid, practical, and effective to be used to improve critical thinking skills and metacognitive abilities of grade V elementary school students on flat area material. The type of research used is quantitative research. The subjects in this study were 20 fifth grade students. The data collection method used questionnaires and descriptive tests. Data from pre-test and post-test results were analyzed using t test with correlated samples to determine the effectiveness of the product. The main results of this study indicate that the Balinese ethnomathematics-based animated video on flat building material significantly contributes to improving the critical thinking and metacognitive skills of grade V students. The effectiveness test showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills, as seen from their ability to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems related to the material. The implication of this research is to illustrate that developing ethnomathematics-based animated videos in the implementation of mathematics learning can train students' critical thinking skills and metacognitive abilities, especially on the material of flat areas.

Abstract

This development research is motivated by the suboptimal use of media models and learning strategies in elementary schools, as well as the low metacognitive abilities and learning motivation of fifth-grade students. The aim of this study is to analyze the prototype, validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media in improving metacognitive skills and learning motivation of Grade V elementary school students. The research was conducted using the ADDIE development model. The subjects of the study were 4 experts and 42 students. The product developed in this study is an ethnomathematics-based educational game media for Grade V elementary school students. Data collection methods included observation, document study, questionnaires, and interviews. In this study, data were collected using questionnaires and tests. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive and inferential analysis. The development research showed high validity, with both media and content experts giving an average score of 0.94. Students rated the practicality at 86%, indicating it is well received. The results of the correlated sample t-test on learning motivation showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the development of this ethnomathematics-based educational game is feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing the metacognitive knowledge and learning motivation of Grade V students. The latest findings from this study imply that it can serve as a reference for developing more innovative learning activities.

Abstract

Mathematics is often considered difficult because the material is abstract, so the learning process requires media to help students understand concepts more concretely. This study aims to produce an ethnomathematics-based geometry framework with valid, practical, and effective criteria. The type of research used is development research with the ADDIE model. The test subjects involved material and media experts and 32 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data was collected through questionnaires and tests using instruments like questionnaire sheets and test questions. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The results showed that the developed framework obtained a decent assessment from material experts, media experts, and small groups of students. In addition, the results of the effectiveness test through hypothesis analysis showed a significant difference between students' metacognitive abilities and mathematical understanding before and after using the media. This indicates that the framework developed is valid, feasible to use, and effective in improving the quality of mathematics learning, especially in geometry materials. This research implies that teachers can utilize the ethnomathematics-based geometry framework as a contextual learning tool, and by the characteristics of students in understanding geometry concepts in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

Students' low numeracy and metacognitive skills are one of the challenges in learning mathematics. In addition, the lack of contextual and relevant learning media to local culture also worsens the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze, develop, and evaluate the effectiveness of ethnomathematics-based mobile learning to improve students' numeracy and metacognitive skills. This is development research with ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) design. The research subjects consisted of 12 fifth-grade students as field trial subjects. Data collection methods used questionnaires, tests, and documentation with instruments in the form of product validity and practicality questionnaires, as well as pre-test and post-test questions to measure students' numeracy and metacognitive skills. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis for media validity and practicality and effectiveness tests, as well as a t-test to determine the difference in pre-test and post-test results. The results showed that ethnomathematics-based mobile learning is valid based on expert assessment, practical according to student and teacher responses, and effective in improving students' numeracy and metacognitive skills. This study concludes that mobile learning based on ethnomathematics can be an innovative and relevant learning medium to overcome mathematics learning problems. This research implies the need to integrate local culture in the development of learning media to create a more meaningful and contextualized learning experience.

Abstract

This research departs from the fact that the lack of use of digital media in the learning process. Research with this development model aims to provide alternative learning media in the form of contextual-based digital comics on grade V angle measurement material to improve student learning outcomes. This research was conducted using the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects selected in this study consisted of one content expert, design expert, media expert, fifth grade teacher, three individual test students, and nine students for the small group test. The data in this study were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and multiple choices tests. The data that has been collected is then analysed using analysis techniques with quantitative descriptive approaches, qualitative descriptive, inferential statistical analysis. The findings in this digital comic product development research are as follows: (a) The results of product validity test through experts show that digital comic media have very valid qualifications; (b) the results of practicality test through teacher responses, individual tests, and small group tests obtained very practical qualifications; (c) the results of media effectiveness test through pre-test and post-test obtained effective qualifications. It can be concluded that the contextual-based digital comic media for mathematics content on angle measurement material is effective in improving learning outcomes, especially for grade V students.
