Abstract

The implementation of patient safety culture in hospitals remains a significant challenge, often leading to adverse events. Establishing a strong patient safety culture requires effective interprofessional collaboration among healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care. However, factors such as organizational distrust and job dissatisfaction continue to hinder collaborative efforts and negatively affect the quality of care and patient safety outcomes. This study aims to examine the influence of organizational trust and job satisfaction on patient safety culture, with interprofessional collaboration serving as an intervening variable at MP hospital.  This quantitative associative research used a causal approach involving 93 inpatient nurses as respondents. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires using an ordinal scale based on a 4–1 Likert scale. Data processing employed the three-box method, and data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results revealed that organizational trust, job satisfaction, and interprofessional collaboration simultaneously and partially influence patient safety culture. Moreover, interprofessional collaboration was found to mediate the relationship between organizational trust, job satisfaction, and patient safety culture. The study concludes that enhancing patient safety culture can be achieved by strengthening organizational trust and job satisfaction through effective interprofessional collaboration. Hospitals should develop supportive systems that foster care and concern among staff, enhance conflict management, improve performance appraisal mechanisms, and promote open, effective communication across all professional groups involved in patient care. These strategies can create a safer, more collaborative, and high-quality healthcare environment

Abstract

Abstract This report identifies competency gaps for postgraduate students in social sciences, education, and management in applying Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software, which stems from weak statistical foundations—including understanding confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), pathway analysis, and goodness-of-fit index interpretation—as well as limited access to formal training and academic mentoring. This condition has implications for the inability to overcome technical problems such as multicollinearity, model imitation without conceptual understanding, and delay in completing studies. As a solution, training based on an integrative approach was implemented through lecture-based learning, hands-on workshops, and project clinics for three days which were designed applicatively using scaffolded learning and problem-based learning methods. The evaluation of the program showed significant success with a 35% increase in participants' understanding based on a comparison of pre-test and post-test, as well as 85% active participation, despite the technical constraints of AMOS licensing. The sustainability of the program is ensured through online discussion forums and monthly follow-up sessions. Development recommendations include training level stratification and implementation of blended learning, provision of pre-training modules, and institutional collaboration for licensing access, which collectively expect to improve participants' academic quality and career prospects on an ongoing basis. Keberlanjutan program dijamin melalui forum diskusi online dan sesi follow-up bulanan. Kata Kunci: pelatihan,  problem based learning, think-aloud protocol

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates whether ESG disclosure and profitability affect the value relevance of accounting information proxied by Tobin’s Q in coal firms, analyse the Green Investment Policy (GIP) moderation role. It aims to show the ESG efforts and “green” capital allocation uncertainty into higher market valuation in an emission-intensive sector. Method: Archival coal companies analysis listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2019–2024. Data collected from annual and sustainability reports. The empirical with panel data regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) using interaction terms (ESG × GIP; Profitability × GIP), also robust standard errors in ensuring the inference in heteroskedasticity. Findings: ESG disclosure not statistically significant in influencing firm value, either directly or through interaction with Green Investment Policy (GIP). Meanwhile, the interaction between Profitability and GIP is positive and significant, indicating that profits connected to credible green investments are more favourable valued by the market. This suggest that investors prioritize the quality of profit deployment within a sustainable and verifiable framework, rather than merely the total amount of profits. In accounting terms, integrating profitability with credible green investment produces stronger value signals, reflected in higher Tobin’s Q. Novelty/Value: The study redefines value relevance by emphasizing the profits distribution for verifiable green investment than ESG disclosure alone. The study underlining mixed evidence on ESG with the financial performance grows to be value-relevant in relation with credible GIP. The results provide managers, investors, and policymakers to align financial and sustainability objectives in emission-intensive industries.

Abstract

Hospitals in DKI Jakarta continue to face service quality challenges, including long waiting times, fragmented information systems, and limited patient access to digital health technologies. Although digital transformation and digital literacy are expected to enhance service quality, the mediating role of patient experience remains insufficiently explored. This study investigates the effects of digital transformation and digital literacy on service quality, with patient experience as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory design was applied using data from 200 outpatients. Measurements were based on validated indicators of digital transformation, digital literacy, patient experience, and service quality. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS was employed for analysis. The findings show that digital transformation significantly improves patient experience and service quality. Digital literacy positively affects patient experience but does not directly influence service quality. Patient experience fully mediates the relationship between digital literacy and service quality and partially mediates the effect of digital transformation. These results highlight the critical role of patient experience in translating digital capabilities into perceived service improvements. Hospitals are encouraged to strengthen digital transformation initiatives, enhance digital literacy support—especially for older adults—and design user-friendly digital services that facilitate communication and access. This study integrates the Technology Acceptance Model and Customer Experience Theory to provide empirical evidence on how digital-based interventions can advance hospital service quality.

Abstract

Introduction: Experiential marketing has become a growing trend in promotional activities by emphasizing personalization and active customer involvement. Preliminary observations indicate a decline in outpatient visits among patients with general insurance and non-JKN coverage in 2023, which may be influenced by a decrease in their intention to use outpatient services. This condition highlights the need for hospitals to implement experiential marketing strategies to enhance patient interest and experience. Objective: This study aims to empirically examine the influence of patient experience and service perception on the intention to use outpatient services, with Strategic Experiential Modules (SEMs) as an intervening variable. Methods: This quantitative research employs a causal design involving outpatient service users as the population. A non-probability sampling technique was used, yielding 249 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. Results: The findings reveal that patient experience and service perception simultaneously have a significant positive influence on the intention to use outpatient services through SEMs. Service perception directly shows a significant positive effect on both SEMs and intention to use outpatient services, while SEMs also significantly enhance usage intention. Service perception emerges as the dominant variable in increasing SEMs and usage intention, whereas patient experience has the weakest effect. Conclusion: Patient experience and service perception collectively influence the intention to use outpatient services with SEMs as an intervening variable. Strengthening Customer Relationship Management is essential by improving human resources and optimizing service asset.
