Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inflasi dan jumlah penduduk terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Kota Balikpapan tahun 2006-2015. Dalam Penelitian ini analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Dalam penelitian ini, data yang digunakan diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Balikpapan. Data tersebut merupakan data yang dihimpun dari tahun 2006 hingga tahun 2015. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa inflasi dan jumlah penduduk berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap tingkat pengangguran. Sedangkan secara parsial inflasi dan jumlah penduduk masing-masing tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Kota Balikpapan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan antara modal, tenaga dan jam kerja pendapatan nelayan di Kelurahan Kuala Kecamatan Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Penelitian ini melibatkan 88 orang nelayan Kelurahan Kuala. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, sedangkan sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Dengan teknik pengolahan data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis, serta menganalisis data dengan menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 20 for windows. Hasil dari analisis regresi linier berganda penelitian ini yaitu Y = 0.559 + 0.329─ 0.037X2+ 0.337X3. Hasil penelitian ini adalah modal (X1) berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan (Y). Tenaga kerja (X2) tidak berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan (Y). Jam kerja (X3) berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan nelayan (Y). Modal, tenaga kerja, dan jam kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan nelayan di Kelurahan Kuala Kecamatan Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Motivasi, dan Disiplin Kerja secara parsial terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data primer. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Karyawan SevenSix Hotel Balikpapan yang berjumlah 37 karyawan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode analisis data menggunakan model regresi linear berganda dengan metode PLS (Partial Least Square) yang pengolahan dan penyajian datanya dilakukan dengan menggunkan software Smart-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja, dan disiplin kerja secara parsial memiliki hubungan positif dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan SevenSix Hotel Balikpapan namun motivasi secara parsial memiliki hubungan positif dan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan SevenSix Hotel Balikpapan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership, communication, and discipline on job satisfaction at the office of the Regional Disaster Management Agency of North Penajam Paser Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with a population of 74 employees, so the sample taken in this study at the office of the Regional Disaster Management Agency of North Penajam Paser Regency amounted to 46 employees who would be used as a research sample size. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires. This study uses multiple linear regression with the help of SmartPLS in processing data. The results of this study indicate that the leadership variable affects job satisfaction at the North Penajam Paser Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency office, the training variable affects job satisfaction at the North Penajam Paser Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency office, and the discipline variable affects job satisfaction at the North Penajam Paser Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency office.

Abstract

The study intends to explore the interaction between work environment and work discipline on employee performance in Perumda Tirta Manuntung, Balikpapan City, where work motivation serves as the mediating variable. Employee performance is a particular concern due to its importance in maintaining clean water services. This research applies quantitative analysis with an explanation of the design and involves 104 permanent employees chosen by purposive sampling. The data were collected through the use of a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed by means of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results show that the work environment and work discipline affect work motivation and employee performance directly and indirectly (through motivation as a mediator). A favorable work environment improves comfort and enthusiasm, and a workplace that enforces discipline improves commitment and efficiency. Work motivation has a strong binding role to these relationships. Thus, it is concluded that to optimize employee performance, Perumda Tirta Manuntung should create an enabling environment for work, practice a work discipline that is fair to all, and enhance work motivation through a reward system. Recommendations include the need to improve work conditions like physical facilities, promote better interpersonal communication, and conduct some training for the improvement of disciplines and motivation. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of motivation, compensation, and work discipline on employee job satisfaction at PT Indo Muro Kencana Palangkaraya. This research uses a quantitative approach. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression with the assistance of SmartPLS software, and the sampling technique applied is simple random sampling with a total of 70 respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data processing was conducted using SmartPLS. The results of the study indicate that the motivation variable has a partial influence on employee job satisfaction at PT Indo Muro Kencana Palangkaraya. However, the compensation and work discipline variables do not have a partial influence on employee job satisfaction at the same company.
