Abstract

The purpose for this study is to convert mechanical vibration into electrical Power. Our target is to provide enough power for 1.2 V rechargeable battery having 160 . The investigation was conducted experimentally in electrical mechanical engineering laboratory. Four piezoelectric was connected to circuits in series mode called 1 module. In order to recharge the battery having voltage 1.2 volt, the measurement of the intensity of the loudspeaker was verified. According to table 1, it was found that at 2  of vibration is best because the value is 1.4 V nearest to 1.2 V. It was found that the mechanical vibration can be converted into electric power. It was found that to recharge 160  having 1.2 V, the 20 modules are needed.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of healthcare workers in assisting patients to perform ablution (wudhu) as part of their spiritual needs during hospitalization. In Islam, wudhu is a prerequisite for prayer that must still be observed even in illness. However, patients physical limitations often hinder them from performing wudhu independently, making healthcare assistance essential. This study aims to identify patients ability to perform wudhu, analyze the role of healthcare workers in providing spiritual assistance, and examine the influencing factors. The findings show that healthcare support has a positive impact on patients inner peace, motivation for recovery, and satisfaction with hospital services. Nevertheless, challenges such as heavy workloads, limited understanding of fiqh thaharah, and the lack of hospital policies on spiritual care remain obstacles. Therefore, training and institutional support are needed to integrate spiritual and medical services. The involvement of healthcare workers in assisting wudhu reflects a holistic care model that harmonizes patients physical and spiritual dimensions.

Abstract

It studies reviews the relationship between practice of ṣalāh (prayer) and mental health from the perspectives of modern psychology and Islamic values. A descriptive-narrative literature review was conducted, analysing peer-reviewed studies and relevant scholarly reports published between 2020-2025. Findings indicate that regular, mindful prayer contributes to reductions in stress and anxiety, enhances inner calm, & strengthens psychological well-being through mechanisms such as emotion regulation, meaning-making, routine coping, & spiritual connectedness. Prayer also functions as a culturally consonant, non-pharmacological coping strategy within Muslim communities. However, the evidence is heterogeneous, and integration of religious elements into mental health practice requires culturally sensitive, evidence-based, and ethically guided approaches. Overall, consistent & reflective practice of ṣalāh can be considered a valuable component in promotive & preventive mental health efforts.

Abstract

Fasting, traditionally defined as refraining from consuming food and drink for a set duration, has been acknowledged not only as a religious or cultural practice but also as a scientifically valuable approach to promoting health. In contemporary medicine, fasting has gained significant attention due to its influence on metabolism, the immune system, and hormonal balance. Research indicates that structured fasting can enhance cellular performance via autophagy, a biological process that eliminates damaged or unnecessary cellular components, contributing to the prevention of degenerative diseases. Metabolically, fasting proves effective in regulating blood sugar levels, lowering LDL cholesterol, and increasing insulin sensitivity, thereby offering promising prospects for the prevention and management of metabolic diseases. The role of fasting in modern healthcare extends beyond physical health benefits to include systemic regulation that helps prevent chronic conditions. However, the application of fasting protocols should be customized to individual needs, particularly for specific groups such as individuals with preexisting medical conditions, pregnant women, and children.

Abstract

Kegiatan belajar mengajar di Lembaga Pendidikan Al Qurán An Nur terdiri atas Pembelajaran membaca Al Qurán (dengan metode IQRO’) dan Menulis Huruf dan Angka Arab (Al Qur’an) serta bagi santri yang telah khatam Al Qurán 30 Juz mereka mendapat bimbingan tambahan menghafal Al Qur’an, terjemah lafziyah, menghafal Hadis, Mahfuzhat mengenalkan bahasa Arab, Terjemah Al Qur’an dengan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris dengan jadwal belajar dari pukul 14.30 sampai dengan 18.00. Kegiatan pembelajaran di LPQ An Nur berupa kegiatan baca dan tulis, dimana kegiatan ini harus ditunjang oleh fasilitas pencahayaan yang baik. Sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia, intensitas cahaya yang dibutuhkan untuk kegiatan ruang kelas adalah sebesar 250 lux. Hasil survei lapangan terukur intensitas cahaya di ruangan kelas sebesar 86.1 lux tanpa pencahayaan lampu dan terukur dengan nilai 132.4 lux , kedua nilai tersebut masih dibawah nilai SNI. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan pembenahan berupa penggantian lampu dengan nilai lumen sesuai dengan perhitungan yang mempertimbangkan luasan ruang kelas dan nilai lux yang diharapkan. Dari perhitungan, dilakukan pembenahan lampu dengan 3300 lumen dan daya 30 Watt untuk menggantikan lampu sebelumnya. Dengan penggantian lampu tersebut, menaikan intensitas cahaya di ruangan kelas sebesar 298 lux sedikit mendekati nilai lux ruang baca sesuai nilai SNI. Peningkatan nilai lux memberikan konsekuensi peningkatan nilai daya per lampu yang awalnya 8 Watt menjadi 30 Watt, sehingga memberi dampak kenaikan konsumsi energi listrik bulanan untuk pencahayaan dan bertambahnya biaya operasional bulanan LPQ An Nur

Abstract

Background: Millions of people die from malaria every year in tropical areas, making it a severe public health concern. Plasmodium, a genus of protozoa with several species, is the main cause of the disease. Humans contract malaria when bitten by female Anopheles sp. mosquitoes. Malaria is one of the world's deadliest diseases. The WHO's 2020 World Malaria Report indicates that there were 229 million cases of malaria globally in 2019, with 409,000 fatalities resulting from the disease. In nine Southeast Asian countries, malaria is endemic. After India, Indonesia is the second most endemic region. Transcription factors such as the HIF-1α protein are produced by hypoxic cells. Patients with malaria have a blockage of the cytoaderenal pathway. Hypoxia occurs due to vascular disorders that prevent oxygen flow to the kidney tissue. Antimalarial drugs are developed in response to the lethal consequences of hypoxia.  Methods: BALB/c mice aged sixteen weeks were infected with the Plasmodium berghei ANKA strain. For six days, the neem leaf 96% ethanol extract was administered orally at doses of 8 mg, 12 mg, and 16 mg. As comparisons, negative, positive, and healthy controls were also included. The kidneys were isolated, and the mice were surgically removed on the seventh day. HIF-2α expression in kidney tissue, which was measured immunohistochemically using Abcam's anti-HIF-2α (H1α67) ChIP Grade antibody, was a characteristic of kidney hypoxia. One-way ANOVA, post-hoc LSD, and Pearson correlation tests were used to assess the hypotheses. Results: Treatment with neem leaf extract significantly decreased oxygen levels (p<0.000).  The correlation test showed a very strong relationship between neem leaf extract and HIF-2α expression in the kidney (r=16.057). Conclusion: Twelve milligrams of neem leaf extract can reduce the risk of renal hypoxia. Keywords: Neem leaves, malaria, degree of parasitemia, hypoxia, Azadirachta indica

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam memproduksi serta memanfaatkan pestisida nabati sebagai strategi pengendalian hama yang berkelanjutan di Desa Padang Tumbuo, Kabupaten Tojo Una-Una. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi awal, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan demonstrasi pembuatan pestisida nabati berbasis tumbuhan lokal, serta evaluasi efektivitas kegiatan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Bahan utama yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pestisida nabati antara lain daun widuri, daun mimba, serai wangi, bawang putih, cabai, lengkuas dan daun sirsak. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman petani yang sangat signifikan. Pada tahap pre-test, sebanyak 71% peserta berada pada kategori “sangat tidak paham” dan tidak terdapat peserta pada kategori “paham” maupun “sangat paham”. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan (post-test), terjadi peningkatan yang drastis, di mana 89% peserta berada pada kategori “sangat paham” dan 19% pada kategori “paham”. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pelatihan dan demonstrasi langsung sangat efektif dalam mentransfer pengetahuan serta membentuk sikap positif petani terhadap penggunaan pestisida nabati. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kapasitas petani untuk mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap pestisida kimia sintetis. kegiatan ini memiliki potensi besar untuk direplikasi dan dikembangkan di wilayah lain dengan permasalahan serupa, sebagai upaya mendukung pengurangan penggunaan pestisida kimia dan mendorong penerapan sistem pertanian yang berkelanjutan. Innovation of Local Plant-Based Botanical Pesticides as an Effort for Sustainable Pest Control among Farmers in Padang Tumbuo Village Abstract This community service activity aims to improve farmers' knowledge and skills in producing and utilizing botanical pesticides as a sustainable pest control strategy in Padang Tumbuo Village, Tojo Una-Una Regency. The implementation method includes initial observation, socialization, training, and demonstration of making botanical pesticides based on local plants, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of the activity through pre-tests and post-tests. The main ingredients used in making botanical pesticides include widuri leaves, neem leaves, lemongrass, garlic, chili, galangal, and soursop leaves. The evaluation results show a very significant increase in farmers' understanding. In the pre-test stage, 71% of participants were in the "very unclear" category and there were no participants in the "understanding" or "very understanding" categories. After the implementation of the activity (post-test), there was a drastic increase, where 89% of participants were in the "very understanding" category and 19% were in the "understanding" category. These findings indicate that the training and direct demonstration methods are very effective in transferring knowledge and forming positive attitudes of farmers towards the use of botanical pesticides. Overall, this activity contributes significantly to increasing farmers' awareness and capacity to reduce dependence on synthetic chemical pesticides. This activity has great potential for replication and development in other regions with similar challenges, as an effort to reduce the use of chemical pesticides and encourage the implementation of sustainable agricultural systems

Abstract

Indonesia’s success in disaster management cannot be separated from the military’s role. The military plays a strategic role by mobilizing military resources on a massive scale through the military command system. However, the ability of Indonesian Army (TNI AD) soldiers and organizations, in general, is considered to have limited capabilities specifically for personnel handling natural disasters. This research aims to map the disaster management implemented by the Indonesian Army in disaster response through the Incident Management System. Data collection was conducted interactively through qualitative methods with in-depth interviews with the Indonesian Army’s Supply and Transportation Unit (Pusbekangad). The research results show that the Indonesian Army (TNI AD) has competent resources in disaster response, involving the Indonesian Army’s Supply and Transportation Unit, which has primary skills and capabilities in logistics and transportation. These capabilities are facilitated by the Incident Management System, which is structured, systematic, and well-organized. The Incident Management System built by the Indonesian Army involves an incident commander, operation section, planning section, logistics section, finance/administration section, driver section, and the cooking team as a trained, capable, experienced, and ready-to-deploy ad-hoc organization in all operational areas. Indonesian Army uses the Incident Management System to respond to disasters such as earthquakes in Cianjur, South Kalimantan floods, and West Sulawesi floods. The Incident Management System serves
