Abstract

Based on the results and discussion, this study concludes that financial technology utilization, working capital management, and financial resilience each have a positive and significant impact on the sustainability of MSMEs during periods of economic uncertainty. The findings highlight that MSMEs that actively adopt digital financial tools, manage their short-term finances efficiently, and develop strong financial resilience are better equipped to withstand and adapt to external shocks such as economic downturns, inflation, and market disruptions. Among the three factors, financial resilience emerged as the most influential, underscoring the critical role of strategic preparedness, adaptability, and financial buffers in ensuring business continuity. These results reinforce the theoretical perspective of the Resource-Based View (RBV), which emphasizes the importance of internal capabilities as sources of sustainable advantage. Therefore, strengthening digital adoption, financial management practices, and resilience-building efforts should be prioritized by MSME stakeholders, including policymakers, financial institutions, and business support organizations to enhance long-term survival and performance in an increasingly volatile economic environment.

Abstract

Street heroin completely disappeared from the black market in 2019 in Bandung, Indonesia. This situation occurred because many heroin abusers switched to the more readily available and cheaper buprenorphine/naloxone. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that encourage adolescents to engage in buprenorphine/naloxone drug abuse. Qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach was used. In-depth interviews were conducted from September to November 2021 with 13 male and 4 female students as informants. The research findings showed that all research informants had a history of drug abuse since elementary and middle school. Before being addicted to buprenorphine/naloxone, informants were already addicted to drugs, some were even at the level of hardcore addiction or severe addiction. Factors that encouraged informants to abuse drugs included a negative environment at home, among friends and school, and ineffective communication between children and parents. In everyday life, apart from peers, informants also have older friends who have a negative influence. Informants also have low self-control as indicated by drug taking.

Abstract

Street heroin disappeared completely from the black market in 2019 in Bandung, Indonesia. This is because many heroin abusers are switching to buprenorphine/naloxone, which is more readily available and cheaper. A decade ago, Yayasan Grapiks—a non-governmental organization that works to reduce the negative effects of heroin—reported that 61 students were actively injecting buprenorphine/naloxone. Based on the report, researchers were prompted to conduct a study to analyze the background of non-heroin-addicted adolescents who were abusing buprenorphine/naloxone in Greater Bandung. Another objective is to explore appropriate strategies for early prevention of drug abuse among adolescents. Qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach was used. In-depth interviews were conducted from September to November 2021 with 13 male and 4 female students as informants. The findings of the study show that all the informants of the study have a history of drug abuse since primary and secondary school. Before addiction to buprenorphine/naloxone, the informants were already addicted to drugs, some were even at the stage of hardcore addiction or severe addiction. Early prevention of drug abuse among adolescents is to create a positive environment at school and at home to prevent adolescents from becoming involved in drug abuse.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Forecasting Waste Tonnage at TPST Bantargebang as an Initial Effort to Handle Waste Problems in Special Region of JakartaBackground: One of the environmental problems arising from the increasing population accompanied by changes in lifestyle in the Special Region of Jakarta (DKJ) is increasingly complex waste management with quantities reaching 7,000 tons per day. This study aims to forecast the tonnage of waste that may be generated in the future as one of the initial efforts in helping the process of preparing a better waste management plan .Method: This study analyzes monthly waste tonnage data entering TPST Bantargebang obtained from the Jakarta Open Data website. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using the Triple Exponential Smoothing (TES) and Autoregressive Fractionally Integrated Moving Average (ARFIMA) methods..Result: Forecasting with the best method shows that the tonnage of waste entering TPST Batargebang is predicted to be higher every year, especially in December and January. The waste tonnage in December 2026 is predicted to reach 293,317.5 tons, a far increase from the prediction results in December 2021 which only reached 254,113.3 tons. Conclusion: The results of forecasting the tonnage of waste in this study can be one of the references in waste management efforts in DKJ. The DKJ government together with all components of society need to work together in anticipating the surge in waste by making various efforts that can reduce the rate of increase in waste tonnage in Jakarta and its surroundings. The DKJ government is recommended to improve the waste management system, both at the community level and at TPST Batargebang by issuing more effective waste management regulations, increasing the waste management budget and conducting socialization and guidance, especially for people living in densely populated areas. ABSTRACT Forecasting Waste Tonnage at TPST Bantargebang as an Initial Effort to Handle Waste Problems in Special Region of JakartaBackground: One of the environmental problems arising from the increasing population accompanied by changes in lifestyle in the Special Region of Jakarta (DKJ) is increasingly complex waste management with quantities reaching 6,500 to 7,000 tons per day.
