Abstract

Tutur District is the center of chrysanthemum cut flower production in East Java, but there is a discrepancy between the quality of production and market demand. The purpose of this study is to analyze the suitability of the quality of cut chrysanthemum flowers with market desires and determine the price equilibrium point and the number of demand-supply. The method used was quantitative descriptive, with primary data collection through questionnaires and interviews with 56 farmers and 6 chrysanthemum collectors. Data analysis was carried out using gap analysis and market balance analysis through simple linear regression. The results of the study show qualities such as the rate of damage, the rate of bloom and the number of florets still show gaps. The equilibrium point for the price of standard type chrysanthemums is IDR 1,145/stalk with a total of 227,730 stalks, and for the spray type is IDR 1,041/stalk with a total of 441,129 stalks. Farmers tend to sell below the equilibrium price so that there is an excess supply. The quality of chrysanthemums is relatively good but does not fully meet market standards. Policy recommendations include improving farmers' technical skills, providing superior varieties, and timing of harvests to align with peak market demand.

This study aims to measure the level of optimization of the use of apple production factors, knowing the strategy of developing apple farming in optimizing the use of apple production factors. The method of determining the sample is simple random sampling with a sample size of 60 farmers. The method of data analysis is multiple linear regression analys, the ratio of the value of marginal products to the prices of inputs and swots. The results show that technically, seeds, manure, chemical fertilizers, liquid pesticides, and labor have been efficient. All allocatively and economically all factors of production have not been efficient. Factors of seed production, manure and liquid pesticides can be considered rationally to increase or decrease the use of production factors in order to achieve optimal levels. In the swot diagram, the strategy position lies in quadrant I, which is an aggressive strategy. The right strategy is the S-O strategy, which uses all the strength factors to take advantage of opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction among micro and small business actors in obtaining the PSAT-PDUK distribution permit in Gresik Regency. The research focuses on four main indicators: ease of registration process, service speed, officer performance, and administrative costs. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling, the study finds that the digital-based Online Single Submission (OSS) system effectively reduces bureaucratic barriers and enhances accessibility. The clarity and user-friendliness of registration forms, combined with ongoing assistance from local government agencies, support inclusive service delivery. Additionally, the speed of document verification and license issuance aligns with public service standards, reinforcing user trust. Officers’ interpersonal skills, technical competence, and informative communication contribute significantly to service quality and stakeholder satisfaction. The study also confirms that there are no hidden fees or illegal levies in the registration process. The PSAT-PDUK registration is officially free, although technical compliance costs such as lab testing and packaging remain the responsibility of the business actors. Transparency regarding these cost elements fosters trust and supports a corruption-free bureaucracy. Overall, the research highlights the success of the government in creating an efficient, accessible, and transparent permit system that supports the formalization and competitiveness of local fresh food businesses. However, sustained improvement through continuous user support and digital literacy enhancement remains necessary to ensure equal access across all business levels.
