Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine workload and role ambiguity effect on job performance with job stress as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Perwakilan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. The number of samples taken by 54 auditors. The analytical method used was Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed 1) there is a negative and significant effect between workload and job performance, 2) there is a negative and significant effect between role ambiguity an job performance, 3) there is a positive and significant effect between workload and job stress, 4) there is no significant effect between role ambiguity and job stress, 5) there is a positive and significant effect between job stress and job performance, 6) job stress mediate the relationship between workload and job performance, 7) job stress did not mediate the relationship between role ambiguity and job performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of leader-members exchange and perceived organizational support influence affective commitment, and job satisfaction as mediator. We use stratified proportionate random sampling as data collecting technique then analyze by assisting PLS Smart 3.3 Software. We found the direct effects among LMX and POS on affective commitment and job satisfaction were significant and positively, but surprisingly affective commitment not significantly affected by job satisfaction, and mediating impact of job satisfaction almost have no contributions in the relationship between our predictor variables to outcome

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of entrepreneurship education and motivation on students' intentions in entrepreneurship. .This study uses a survey method with a data measurement technique using a 5 point Likert scale with a sample selection technique using the purpose sampling method Islamic high school IAIN Bukittinggi.as for the respondents of this study were students who had taken and are currently taking entrepreneurship education courses (semesters 5 & 7) with a total number of respondents as many as 84 students. .Based on the results of data collection and processing through SPSS, it is found that from the proposed hypothesis it can be concluded that entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship motivation separately have the same positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intentions. .then at the same time both of them also have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intentions. Thus, the higher the education and entrepreneurial motivation given, the better the entrepreneurial intentions of students.

Abstract

Employees with Organizational Citizenship Behavior will encourage their best ability to produce the best output for the benefit of the organization. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior and the mediating role of Job Satisfaction. The population in this study were all employees of BNI at the Solok, Payakumbuh, and Bukittinggi branch offices, with a total sample of 103 people. The source of this research data is primary data collected through questionnaires. Structural equation modeling method (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that Leader Member Exchange and Perceived Organizational Support have a positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, but Job Satisfaction has no effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Leader Member Exchange positively affects Job Satisfaction, but Perceived Organizational Support fails to affect Job Satisfaction. This study found that job satisfaction did not mediate the relationship between Leader Member Exchange and Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of remote working, digital skills and knowledge acquisition on personnel performance in program Kota tanpa Kumuh  (Kotaku)  in West Sumatra, the population in this study were all personnel of the Kotaku Program in West Sumatera  with a sample of 89 respondents. Data obtained by conducting a questionnaire, then processed and tested using SmartPLS.From the research conducted, it is known that based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that remote working, digital skills and knowledge acquisition have a significant effect on the performance of personnel in the Kota tanpa Kumuh (Kotaku) program in West Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of FWS and WLB on the performance of the DGSAM employees moderated by gender. This research is explanatory quantitative research. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square. The number of respondents amounted to 385 people who are official civil servants of DGSAM. The results of this study found: that (1) FWS has a positive significant effect on employee performance. WLB which has 4 dimensions produces findings: (2a) Work Interference with Personal Life (WIPL) has a positive significant effect on Employee Performance, (2b) Personal Life Interference with Work (PLIW) has a negative significant effect on Employee Performance. (2c) Personal Life Enhancement of Work (PLEW) has a positive significant effect on employee performance. (2d) Work Enhancement of Personal Live (WEPL) has a positive significant effect on Employee Performance. Gender, which is the moderating variable in the relationship between FWS and WLB on Employee Performance, results in the following findings: (3) Gender doesn't moderate the relationship between FWS and Employee Performance. (4) Gender partially moderates the relationship between WLB and Employee Performance. The magnitude of the effect of FWS and WLB on Employee Performance is indicated by R² of 37.6%.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk melakukan pengujian mediator kompetensi instruktur: digital sikll dan industry 4.0 skills-sets terhadap kesiapan tenaga kerja Indonesia dalam menghadapi dunia krja masa depan pada balai latihan kerja padang, sehingga nantinya akan dapat membantu balai latihan kerja padang untuk mengatasi masalah kesiapan tenaga kerja Indonesia dalam menghadapi dunia kerja masa depan. penelitian ini memamakai metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik totak sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel sebanyak 160 responden yang merupakan calon tenaga kerja. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Smart PLS yang berguna mencari adanya pengaruh antar variabel dengan mediatornya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya semakin tinggi keterampilan digital peserta pelatihan BLK Padang maka semakin tinggi kesiapan kerja perserta pelatihan dalam memasuki dunia kerja masa depan, semakin tinggi industri 4.0 digital skill-set peserta pelatihan BLK Padang maka semakin tinggi kesiapan kerja perserta pelatihan dalam memasuki dunia kerja masa depan, semakin tinggi kompetensi instruktur BLK Padang maka semakin tinggi kesiapan kerja perserta pelatihan dalam memasuki dunia kerja masa depan, semakin tinggi kompetensi intruktur pelatihan maka hubungan keterampilan digital peserta pelatihan BLKI Padang dengan kesiapan kerja perserta pelatihan dalam memasuki dunia kerja masa depan akan semakin kuat, semakin tinggi kompetensi intruktur pelatihan maka hubungan industri 4.0 skill-set peserta pelatihan BLKI Padang dengan kesiapan kerja perserta pelatihan dalam memasuki dunia kerja masa depan akan semakin kuat

Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 virus attack has had a great impact on human life in the world and has changed many important aspects of life such as health, the economy, politics, and also security. It has also led to changes in working methods and also human interaction within the organization. As one of the agencies affected by the Covid-19 virus, namely the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang. Since the Covid-19 virus pandemic, many changes have occurred and various efforts have been made within the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus, one of which is by working from home for ASN. Objective: This study aims to examine and build a conceptual model of the effect of work-life balance and work environment mediated by work stress on job satisfaction in ASN employees. Methods: This study used a non-probability sampling technique with the sample used being 72 civil servants through the distribution of questionnaires. Results: This study found that work trends do not mediate the effect between work-life balance and work environment on job satisfaction in employees of the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang. Conclusion: The Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang has provided appropriate working hours so that the personal life and working life of employees can be balanced and the existing work environment of the TPI Padang Class I Immigration Office provides a sense of security and comfort to employees. With a sense of security and a sense of comfort at work, employee job satisfaction will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the implementation of E-Government in the Government of West Sumatra Province. The number of samples taken as many as 100 respondents. Based on the results of the validity test, it can be seen that all statements used to measure the E-Government variable are declared valid, because each statement has a corrected item total correlation coefficient above 0.65. While the reliability test with internal consistency test has a composite reliability value that meets the criteria. Based on the test results, all variable indicator statements have met the criteria of validity and reliability. The results of hypothesis testing using SPSS for windows version 23.0 with t-test analysis or t-test indicate that the quality of Human Resources and Communication has a positive and significant effect on the implementation of E-Government in the government of West Sumatra Province. Meanwhile, Infrastructure and Leadership have no significant effect on the implementation of E-Government in the West Sumatra Provincial government.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership, corporate culture, and work motivation on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Region of West Sumatra Area Padang. This research is exploratory research with quantitative method. The sampling technique was conducted by the census method, with the sample number of 100 employees. This research uses Partial Least Squares-Structural Equations Modeling (PLS-SEM) with smartPLS 3 program. The results show that transformational leadership have positive but not significant effect to employee performance, Corporate culture have positive and significant effect to employee performance, and work motivation have negative but not significant effect to employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Region of West Sumatra Area Padang.
