Abstract

A biology curriculum consists of several topics that should be taught using appropriate media based on the type of information. The use of Multimedia PowerPoint is chosen because it is accessible without the need for an internet connection, making it a suitable solution for schools in Papua that lack infrastructure. This research aims to develop a Multimedia PowerPoint presentation on the Human Circulatory System for Junior High School students in Papua, with the goal of enhancing students' understanding of biology. The research method used is Research and Development, following the procedure outlined in the Borg & Gall Model. The developed product was reviewed by several experts and deemed viable. Subsequent assessment by students a yielded positive result. Questionnaires were used for assessment, and data analysis was conducted using percentages. The results of the development of the Multimedia PowerPoint on the Human Circulatory System are as follows: (1) The average assessment from material/content experts is 93%. (2) The average assessment from media experts is 100%. (3) The average assessment from design experts is 89%. (4) The average assessment from individual trials is 88%. (5) The average assessment from small group trials, is 90%. (6) The average assessment from large group trials is 91%. In conclusion, the Multimedia PowerPoint is a feasible instructional media for teaching the Human Circulatory System to Junior High School students, particularly in the Papua region.

Abstract

The main problem in music learning at the high school level is the limited availability of musical instruments and the absence of representative teaching materials that can integrate theory and practice in a balanced way. This condition hampers students’ ability to apply musical knowledge optimally, thereby necessitating the innovation of digital technology-based teaching materials. This study aims to develop and evaluate an Android-based music learning module using the Virtual Instrument Walk Band application to enhance music education for high school students. The instructional design model ADDIE was employed to guide the development process. Data collection techniques included expert validation, small- and large-group trials, as well as pre- and post-tests to assess effectiveness. Expert validation indicated high validity in terms of content (93.33%), design (91.43%), and media (94.28%). Field testing with small and large student groups yielded positive responses, with mean scores of 87.5% and 88.51%, respectively. A paired-sample t-test was conducted to analyze the module’s effectiveness, revealing a statistically significant improvement in student learning outcomes (t = -8.290, p < 0.001). These findings demonstrate that the module is both feasible and effective in supporting critical thinking and engagement in music learning. This study highlights the potential of integrating virtual instrument applications into instructional design to address the lack of practice instruments and teaching materials in music education.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed primary education, particularly in geometry learning, which relies heavily on visual-spatial skills. This study aims to examine the influence of Google Sites compared to e-books, as well as the role of visual-spatial intelligence, on fourth-grade students’ understanding of area and volume concepts. A quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design was employed, involving 62 students from SDN Losari, Jombang. The research instruments were validated and found to be reliable. Two-way ANOVA results indicated that both learning media and visual-spatial intelligence significantly affected students’ conceptual understanding (p < 0.05), with a significant interaction between the two variables. Students with high visual-spatial intelligence who used Google Sites achieved the highest learning outcomes. These findings highlight the effectiveness of interactive digital media and the importance of aligning instruction with students’ cognitive characteristics. It is recommended that teachers integrate web-based tools like Google Sites, especially for topics requiring spatial visualization, to foster more adaptive and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

his study aims to examine the influence of Canva-based instructional media and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students in the topic of the human digestive system within the IPAS subject. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design and an ex post facto technique. The population consisted of fifth-grade students from SDN Kabuh. Data were collected through tests of learning outcomes and motivation questionnaires. The analysis showed that the use of Canva-based media had a significant effect on student achievement. Furthermore, learning motivation independently contributed to improved learning outcomes. The interaction between the two variables was also significant, indicating that high motivation strengthened the positive effect of Canva-based media. This research confirms the importance of integrating visual-digital tools with internal student factors to enhance science learning in elementary education

Abstract

Abstract: Development of teaching materials is a process to produce innovation in teaching and learning activities. The research aims to produce learning products in the form of electronic modules in the subject of Basic Mechanical Engineering Work. Develop learning media in the form of e-modules whose contents are not just basic concepts of mechanical engineering vocational competence, but images, sounds, animations and videos will also be displayed so that students can more easily understand the material being taught and can increase students' attention to the material. being taught. The research subjects were students of class X Welding Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Lamongan. Product development of teaching materials for basic work Mechanical engineering is a research and development (R & D) model of Dick & Carey. The results of the research are learning products in the form of e-modules that have gone through a feasibility test involving reviews of experts, namely material experts, learning design experts and media experts as well as feasibility tests through peer trials, small groups and field tests. The formative evaluation shows that this product is classified as "good", so it can be used as a support for teachers in teaching and learning activities using this E-Module, teachers can apply a combination of face-to-face learning at school and distance learning. Students can learn independently by using EModul without being limited by space and time. Keywords: e-module, Basic Mechanical Engineering Work, Development Research, Teaching Materials, Vocational Education  Abstrak: Pengembangan bahan ajar adalah suatu proses untuk menghasilkan inovasi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pembelajaran dalam bentuk modul elektronik pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Teknik mesin. Pembangkan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk e-modul yang isinya bukan sekedar konsep-konsep dasar kompetensi kejuruan teknik mesin, tetapi akan ditampilkan juga gambar, suara, animasi dan video sehingga peserta didik dapat lebih mudah memahami materi yang diajarkan serta dapat meningkatkan perhatian peserta didik terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Jurusan Teknik Pengelasan di SMK Negeri 2 Lamongan. Pengembangan produk bahan ajar pekerjaan dasar Teknik mesin merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R & D) model Dick & Carey. Hasil penelitian adalah produk pembelajaran dalam bentuk e-modul yang telah melalui uji kelayakan yang melibatkan review para ahli, yaitu ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran dan ahli media serta uji kelayakan melalui uji coba teman sejawat, small group dan field test. Evaluasi formatif menunjukkan, produk ini tergolong "baik", sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang bagi guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan menggunakan E-Modul ini guru dapat menerapkan pembelajaran kombinasi antara tatap muka di sekolah dan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this study were: (1) to produce an e-module for light vehicle engine maintenance in class XI TKRO SMKN 2 Lamongan., and (2) determine the feasibility of an e-module for light vehicle engine maintenance in class XI TKRO SMKN 2 Lamongan. This development research follows the stages of developing the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection was carried out through an e-module product assessment questionnaire sheet, and student and teacher response questionnaire sheets. The research data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive. This study resulted in: (1) an e-module which was developed using the Flip PDF pro software. The end result is an electronic book that can be accessed anywhere as long as internet access is available. (2) The assessment from the material expert was obtained that the e-module was categorized as feasible with an assessment percentage of 85%, from the design expert it was categorized as feasible with a percentage of 89%, from the media expert the percentage of assessment was 87% in the appropriate category, from users, namely colleagues, it was obtained the percentage of assessment is 91% with a very decent category from the responses of small group students, namely 8 students, the results are in a very decent category with a percentage of 92% and a large group of 30 students obtained very decent results with a percentage of 93%. Keywords: E-Module, Light Vehicle Engine Maintenance, Research Development, teaching materials  Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Menghasilkan e-modul pemeliharaan mesin kendaraan ringan pada siswa kelas XI TKRO SMKN 2 Lamongan., dan (2) mengetahui kelayakan e-modul pemeliharaan mesin kendaraan ringan pada siswa kelas XI TKRO SMKN 2 Lamongan. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengikuti tahap-tahap pengembangan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui lembar angket penilaian produk e-modul, dan lembar angket respon siswa dan guru. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: (1) e-modul yang dikembangkan menggunakan softwere flip pdf pro yang hasil akhirnya adalah buku elektronik yang bisa diakses dimana saja selama tersedia akses internet. (2) Penilaian dari ahli materi diperoleh bahwa e-modul dikategorikan layak dengan persentase penilaian sebesar 85%, dari ahli desain dikategorikan layak dengan prosentase 89%, dari ahli media diperoleh persentase penilaian sebesar 87% dengan kategori layak,  dari pengguna yaitu rekan sejawat diperoleh persentase penilaian sebesar 91% dengan kategori sangat layak dari respon siswa kelompok kecil yaitu 8 siswa diperoleh hasil dengan kategori sangat layak dengan persentase sebesar 92% dan kelompok besar yaitu 30 siswa diperoleh hasil sangat layak dengan prosentase sebesar 93%. Kata Kunci: e-modul, Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan, Penelitian Pengembangan, bahan ajar.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mengalami perkembangan yang sangat signifin yang mengarahkan kehidupan manusia kepada digitalisasi, termasuk pada sektor Pendidikan.  Hal ini mendorong berkembangnya e-learning dengan semakin pesat.  Platform ini memiliki kemampuan teknologis yang menolong guru dapat mengembangkan media digitalis untuk materi yang sulit dideskripsikan dan dapat membuat peserta didik lebih tertarik untuk belajar. Studi pendahuluan menunnjukkan peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo umumnya menggunakan bahan ajar buku ajar cetak karena itu perlu diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan media e-learning. E-learning yang dikembangkan berbeda dengan e-learning lainnya karena disesuai untuk kebutuhan siswa Sekolah Kejuruan dan lebih praktis sehingga memudahkan siswa untuk mengimplementasikan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian pengembangan e-learning ini dinyatakan memenuhi kelayakan ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran.  Kemudian produk telah melalui uji coba kepada siswa, baik kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa produk pengembangan e-learning untuk pembelajaran Elektrikal Kendaraan Ringan dinyatakan layak dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar sekarang dan juga di masa mendatang karena dapat diperbaharui terus menerus.

Abstract

E-book is one of the development media used for learning activities in the classroom. This is in accordance with current technological developments. During the development of technology, one of the learning resources in the form of physical books became less attractive. Low public access to reading power is an indicator identified in the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) survey based on the proportion of the population aged 10 years and over who access the media, especially when compared to the increase in public access to television. This is inversely proportional to public access to newspapers/magazines. The purpose of this research is to produce an e-book-based learning material in facilitating students as an interesting source of information with historical subject matter, especially regarding Hindu-Buddhist heritage in Pasuruan Regency, so as to increase the understanding of class X Senior High School students in teaching and learning activities in History subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Game-Based Word Cards for Education to improve literacy skills and communication comprehension for early childhood at Al Falah Assalam Kindergarten in Tropodo Waru. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Borg and Gall model, which consists of ten stages, including needs analysis, product design, prototype development, expert validation, limited trials, field trials, and product revision. Validation was conducted by three groups of experts: material experts, design experts, and media experts. The instrument, a questionnaire, assessed the feasibility of the material, visual appeal, and suitability of the use of learning media. The limited trial was conducted on nine respondents (children), and the field trial involved 21 respondents consisting of teachers and students. The aim was to thoroughly test the effectiveness and feasibility of the product in a real-life learning context. The validation results showed a score of 80% from the material experts, indicating that the content was in line with the curriculum. The design experts gave a score of 69–71%, indicating the need for visual improvements. Meanwhile, the media experts assessed the use of Canva as quite effective and appropriate for the characteristics of early childhood. Field trials demonstrated high feasibility with scores of 91–93%, accompanied by positive feedback from teachers and students. Children appeared more enthusiastic and demonstrated improvements in literacy and communication skills. Overall, the Game-Based Educational Word Cards were deemed feasible and effective for use, and have the potential for broader implementation with improvements to the visuals and materials to create fun and interactive learning.
