Abstract

Bali is one of the islands with the largest Hindu religion in Indonesia. This is of course an attraction for tourists to see the culture and natural beauty that the island of Bali has to offer. However, apart from that, there are many religious activities that occur on the island of Bali and the waste produced is something that needs special attention. If this waste is not handled properly, it will threaten environmental sustainability in Bali and indirectly the tourism offered. Therefore, there is a need for a solution to overcome the waste problem. By conducting observations, interviews and literature studies, a way to overcome this problem was found, namely by converting the waste into aromatherapy incense, vermicomposting, briquettes and biofuel. The results of this processing have been studied and of course have the potential to be carried out on the island of Bali. The application of this method also indirectly plays an important role in preserving the environment and economy on the island of Bali.

Abstract

The utilization of sawdust waste in East Nusa Tenggara has not been utilized optimally. This waste is only burned, so it sometimes causes air pollution. So there needs to be an effort to overcome these problems by making alternative energy in the form of briquettes. Analytical description method with observation, literature study and economic and energy analysis is used in this research. Sources of data in this observation came from direct observations in the field through questionnaires and interviews. Based on the data of sawdust waste produced can reach 20-60 kg per day and can be used as other forms of energy. This energy can be used as a source of electrical energy to replace conventional energy which is less environmentally friendly and fuel for burning fishery products in East Nusa Tenggara. Based on the value of the benefit-cost ratio (BCR) and payback period, good results were obtained with a value of 2.13 with a return on investment of 0.82 years. The generated electricity biomass can replace conventional electrical energy and provide cost savings of 19.2% per kWh. In addition, the utilization of this energy can have a positive impact on regional income, health, schools, and transportation as well as agriculture.

Abstract

Safes in the market are usually doesn’t offer a system that can monitor the activities carried out by users on the safe. This becomes a problem when the safe has many users who can access it. We can't identify who, when or what other users are doing. In addition, safes generally have an authentication system that only offers passcodes and keys. That authentication system is considered outdated. In this study, a web-based safe monitoring system was created that uses a fingerprint sensor and passcode as authentication. In addition, this system can also send data about user activity to the website so that admins or other users can monitor anyone who accesses the safe. This system will be tested using black box testing. In the test, it was found that this safe system can only be opened if the user inputs a valid passcode and a finger print that has been registered in the system. In addition, the activity data has been successfully sent to the website. In security testing, it was found that if the safe door is opened forcibly, an alarm in the form of a buzzer will ring and a warning notification will be sent to the website.

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the government to tackle the spread of Covid-19 in Denpasar City. Starting from creating a data collection system for Covid-19 patients and a map of the distribution of Covid-19 patients based on villages, which are updated every day and open for access to the general public. In the observations made by researchers, the Denpasar City Government needs to add efforts to organize the distribution of Covid-19 cases, by knowing the characteristics of Covid-19 patients and grouping villages based on similar characteristics so that the distinctive characteristics of each urban village group can be identified in Denpasar City. The problem that will be discussed in this research is how to cluster the distribution of Covid-19 cases using the K-means algorithm. The purpose of this proposed study is to cluster Covid-19 data using the K-Means algorithm. The clustering of the distribution of Covid-19 cases in Denpasar City was successfully carried out using the K-Means algorithm and the number of clusters used was 3, with cluster 0 (Low Cluster) of 16 villages / wards, cluster 2 (Regular Cluster) of 21 villages / wards, and cluster 1 (High Cluster) of 6 villages / wards. Cluster validity was tested using the Davies Bouldin method with the resulting value of -0.522.
