Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the smart box learning media in the IPAS subject on economic activity material for 5th-grade students. This research uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this study were 5th-grade elementary school students totaling 13 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observations, tests, and documentation. Validation results showed that the smart box media has a very high level of feasibility, with the feasibility percentage from media experts at 90% and material experts at 82%. The practicality result from student responses was 90%, which falls into the very practical category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the media is seen from the completeness of the students' learning test results after using the smart box media. As for the results of student learning mastery, it reached 92.3%, which falls into the very effective category because the smart box media developed in this study integrates concrete media with digital media and is equipped with interactive games that can increase students' motivation, activeness, and understanding of economic activity materials. Thus, it can be concluded that smart box learning media in the IPAS subject on economic activity materials is declared very feasible, practical, and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

In elementary education, Science and Social Science (IPAS) learning is essential for developing students' critical thinking and integrated understanding of natural and social phenomena. However, conventional teacher centered instruction often leads to passive learning and suboptimal academic achievement among students. This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on Science and Social Science (IPAS) learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 7 Ampenan. A quantitative approach with quasi-experimental design (Nonequivalent Control Group Design) was applied. The sample consisted of 60 fifth-grade students divided into an experimental class (Class Va, n=30) receiving PBL instruction and a control class (Class Vb, n=30) receiving conventional teaching. Data analysis employed Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, Normalized Gain (N-Gain) analysis, Independent Sample t-test, and Paired Sample t-test. Results revealed that the experimental group's mean posttest score (80.17) was significantly higher than the control group (68.30), reflecting an 11.87 point difference. N-Gain analysis yielded a mean of 0.438 (moderate category) for the experimental group and 0.158 (low category) for the control group. The Independent Sample t-test produced t = 6.711 with significance 0.000 (p < 0.05), leading to rejection of the null hypothesis. It is concluded that the PBL model significantly affects IPAS learning outcomes and is demonstrably more effective in enhancing students' cognitive abilities than conventional instructional methods.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an interactive e-card media based on Augmented Reality (AR) for the science subject on “Vertebrate and Invertebrate Animals” for third-grade students at SDN 33 Cakranegara and to examine its feasibility in terms of validity and practicality. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The research was conducted at SDN 33 Cakranegara with third-grade students as the research subjects. Data sources were obtained from material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques included validation questionnaires, response questionnaires, and observation sheets. The data were analyzed descriptively using quantitative methods by converting percentage scores into feasibility categories. The interactive e-card media was developed through the five stages of the ADDIE model. The validation results showed a validity percentage of 95% from material experts and 93% from media experts, both categorized as highly valid. The practicality test results indicated teacher responses of 97% and student responses of 95%, supported by field observation data of 95%, all categorized as highly practical. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the interactive e-card media is feasible for use as a learning medium in science education for third-grade elementary school students. Future studies are recommended to conduct effectiveness testing to measure the impact of the media on students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of syllable Puzzle media on the beginning reading skills of first-grade students at SDN 24 Ampenan. This research is important to conduct because the initial reading skills of students are still low, as indicated by the fact that most students are not yet fluent in recognizing letters, reading syllables, and forming simple words. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type using a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection technique used was testing, while data analysis was conducted thru prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests (t-test). The research results showed that there was an improvement in initial reading skills in the experimental class with an average score increase from 48 to 78.46, while the control class only increased from 52.88 to 62.85. The hypothesis test results indicated a significant effect of using syllable Puzzle media on students' initial reading skills. The conclusion of this study is that syllable Puzzle media has a positive and significant effect on improving the beginning reading skills of first-grade students at SDN 24 Ampenan, making it a viable alternative for effective and enjoyable learning media.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) berbasis deep learning dalam mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur (systematic literature review) dengan menganalisis artikel ilmiah bereputasi yang dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 2015–2026 melalui tahapan identifikasi, seleksi, evaluasi, dan sintesis literatur berdasarkan pedoman PRISMA serta dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis deep learning dalam IPS tidak hanya dimaknai sebagai pemanfaatan teknologi, tetapi juga sebagai pendekatan pedagogis yang menekankan pemahaman mendalam, berpikir kritis, reflektif, serta keterkaitan dengan konteks kehidupan nyata. Implementasi pendekatan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, kolaborasi, dan kesadaran sosial peserta didik, serta berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pencapaian SDGs, khususnya pendidikan berkualitas (SDG 4), kesadaran lingkungan (SDG 13), dan penguatan nilai keadilan sosial (SDG 16). Namun demikian, implementasi pembelajaran IPS berbasis deep learning masih menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan kompetensi guru, rendahnya literasi digital, serta belum optimalnya integrasi antara pendekatan pedagogis dan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan model pembelajaran IPS berbasis deep learning yang kontekstual, integratif dengan nilai-nilai SDGs dan kearifan lokal, serta didukung oleh peningkatan kapasitas guru dan kebijakan pendidikan yang adaptif.   Kata kunci: pembelajaran IPS, deep learning, SDGs, kajian literatur, pendidikan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS dalam Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan bermakna, namun bahan ajar yang digunakan di sekolah dasar masih bersifat umum dan belum mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal dengan pendekatan deep learning pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV sekolah dasar. enelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 19 Ampenan dengan subjek penelitian terdiri atas ahli materi, ahli media, guru kelas IV, dan peserta didik kelas IV. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, studi dokumen, dan angket, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh tingkat validitas sangat tinggi berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi sebesar 92,5% dan ahli media sebesar 87,5%. Selain itu, bahan ajar memperoleh kategori sangat praktis berdasarkan uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 93,5%, kelompok besar sebesar 86,5%, dan respon guru sebesar 87,5%. : Integrasi kearifan lokal Lombok dengan pendekatan deep learning mampu menciptakan pembelajaran IPAS yang lebih kontekstual, bermakna, dan menyenangkan sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran sekolah dasar.
