Abstract

This research was developmental research with aims to develop, knowing validity and practicability of thermodynamics e-book based on TPACK. This research was using 4D models and did only as far as develop step. The result based on 4D model steps were (1) Define produces task analysis to fulfil 21st century skill, (2) Design produces 2 product which are teacher book and student book, (3) Develop step produces result of validation and the last product (e-book/flipbook for teacher and student). Expert validation showed the teaching instructional material is valid, learning planning is valid, Content Representation is valid, and e-book is valid. 89,5% students responded this e-book very interesting. This e-book can be said quite practically. Limited trial and small experiment were carried out in one of class in senior high school of one Ngoro Mojokerto and concluded that the increase in the stabilization of sub-topic introduction to Temperature and the Thermodynamics Zero Low is high through the activity of comparing (Let’s Compare). Students can learn thermodynamics by keeping up with science and technology developments by this e-book. The practical benefit is helping the success of learning process carried out at school and home because e-books are provided in 2 forms, teacher book and student book.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM) dengan menggunakan pendekatan multi representasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep vektor mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk melihat kelayakan produk berupa angkat validasi ahli materi dan media, angket uji keterbacaan, angket uji kepraktisan, dan 14 soal tes pilihan ganda. Untuk melihat efektifitas produk dilakukan dengan menerapkan LKM. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung presesentasi skor isian angket dan menghitung Ngain skor pemahaman konsep. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan telah layak dan efektif untuk digunakan. Namun demikian, LKM ini masih belum dapat digunakan mandiri sepenuhnya oleh mahasiswa. Ada beberapa bagian yang perlu dijelaskan secara langsung dalam pembelajaran. Kedepannya perlu adanya integrasi video penjelasan konsep dalam LKM agar dapat dipelajari secara mandiri oleh mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain an initial design for a laboratory practical tool based on bifocal modeling assisted by an ESP32 microcontroller for kinetic gas theory. This study was conducted to obtain an initial design for a practical laboratory tool based on bifocal modeling assisted by the ESP32 microcontroller on the kinetic theory of gases. This study was conducted descriptively through a literature review of various book articles and materials. Interviews were conducted with students and physics teachers in high schools (9 students and two teachers in Malang, 15 students and three teachers in Bandung) in Indonesia. Interviews were conducted to obtain an overview of the application of physics learning and reveal other potential problems students and teachers face. The design of the bifocal modeling tool developed has been consulted with physics and ICT learning experts. The results are that it needs to be further developed and maintained until the manufacturing stage. Bifocal modeling based on the design developed in this study has the potential to facilitate students to conduct scientific experiments related to the kinetic theory of gases. Based on the equipment to be developed, it is expected that students will be able to observe macroscopic gas phenomena through actual experiments, monitor microscopic phenomena visualized through computer models, collect data in actual experiments and computer simulations, and compare data. Students' understanding of the concept of the kinetic theory of gases has the potential to be improved by conducting practical work using bifocal modeling-based tools.

Abstract

Objective:  One of the physics materials that are very important for students is quantum phenomena because it cannot be separated in everyday life.  This research aims to develop a learning media "VirtumFi: Quantum Phenomena” for high school students that is feasible and practical. Method: This research is development research that used the 4D design (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) in the development process. Development was carried out using Adobe Animate software as an Android application development software.  Results: VirtumFi has been tested valid in content and construct. In addition, VirtumFi is equipped with teaching materials and HOTS question instruments to evaluate student understanding related to Quantum phenomena.  Furthermore, VirtumFi is accessed using Android so that it can be used anywhere. Novelty: The novelty that can be multiplied in this research is the VirtumFi (Virtual Laboratory Fisika) product in the form of Android with a combination of teaching material (text materials and worksheets), HOTS questions, and virtual laboratories.

Abstract

Mobile learning has been developed with constructive feedback to determine the feasibility level of mobile learning with constructive feedback on Electromagnetic Induction material for SMA/MA students at the limited trial stage. This development uses a 4D model, but until stage 3 (develop) it does not reach stage 4 (disseminate). The product that has been developed is then validated by three validators (one physics lecturer at FMIPA UM and two physics teachers at SMAN 3 Malang) including content validation, construct validation, claim validation, and constructive feedback validation and tested for practicality on 28 students of class XII MIPA C-6 SMAN 3 Malang. Quantitative data and qualitative data are types of data in this research and development. Quantitative data was obtained from the results of the assessment using a Likert Scale for a validation questionnaire and a Guttman Scale for a practicality questionnaire. The analysis technique for quantitative data was calculated using the average calculation. The analytical technique used in the practicality test uses percentage calculations. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that the mobile learning application with constructive feedback is a feasible application with a validity level of 3.78 and a practicality test of 93.58%. Based on the results of the validation and limited trials, it can be concluded that the mobile learning application accompanied by constructive feedback on Electromagnetic Induction material is suitable for students to use for independent study, so as to improve understanding of concepts and motivation in learning activities.Keywords:   Mobile learning, constructive feedback, electromagnetic induction ABSTRAKTelah dikembangkan mobile learning disertai constructive feedback untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan mobile learning disertai constructive feedback pada materi Induksi Elektromagnetik untuk siswa SMA/MA pada tahap uji coba terbatas. Pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D, tetapi sampai tahap 3 (develop) tidak sampai tahap 4 (disseminate). Produk yang telah dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh tiga validator (satu dosen Fisika FMIPA UM dan dua guru fisika di SMAN 3 Malang) meliputi validasi konten, validasi konstruk, validasi klaim, serta validasi constructive feedback dan diuji kepraktisan pada 28 siswa kelas XII MIPA C-6 SMAN 3 Malang. Data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif merupakan jenis data dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini.  Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil penilaian menggunakan Skala Likert untuk angket validasi dan Skala Guttman untuk angket kepraktisan. Teknik analisis untuk data kuantitatif dihitung menggunakan perhitungan rata-rata. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada uji kepraktisan menggunakan perhitungan persentase.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa aplikasi mobile learning disertai constructive feedback adalah aplikasi yang layak dengan tingkat kevalidan 3,78 dan uji kepraktisan sebesar 93,58%. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba terbatas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi mobile learning disertai constructive feedback pada materi Induksi Elektromagnetik layak digunakan oleh siswa untuk belajar mandiri, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi dalam kegiatan belajar.Kata Kunci:  Mobile learning, constructive feedback, induksi elektromagnetik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penerapan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis digital melalui berbagai platform web terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.6, dan 7.9 di SMP Negeri 3 Malang pada tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi-eksperimen yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus mandiri. Setiap siklus melibatkan implementasi LKPD berbasis digital, pengumpulan data, dan evaluasi hasil belajar. Gaya belajar yang dominan di antara peserta didik dalam sampel adalah visual dan kinestetik, menunjukkan bahwa mereka cenderung belajar melalui penglihatan dan pengalaman langsung. Data asesmen menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar peserta didik, dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 80. Peningkatan ini tidak hanya memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) tetapi juga menunjukkan pencapaian indikator kinerja keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan LKPD berbasis digital melalui berbagai platform web secara efektif meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan pentingnya adaptasi materi pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar peserta didik untuk memaksimalkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penyusunan soal Fisika berbasis literasi sains pada guru Fisika yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran Fisika (MGMP) Kabupaten Malang. Pelatihan tersebut dilakukan untuk mendukung keberhasilan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau level 5. Pelatihan dilakukan secara secara blended learning selama 32 jam yang diikuti oleh 40 peserta. Peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap pelatihan yang dilakukan. Adanya pelatihan yang dilakukan membuat para guru memiliki beragam rencana untuk melakukan asesmen pembelajaran Fisika di sekolah.  Antusiasme para peserta yang tinggi tercermin dalam feedback yang diberikan bahwa diperlukan adanya pelatihan lanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility and readability of learning media in Physics E-Modules interactive with a multi-representation approach to help students analyze the effect of heat and heat transfer class IX SMA. This e-module can be accessed online through computers, laptops and smartphones. Research and development uses the ADDIE model. The results showed that the product validation score was 3.53 for content validation and 3.76 for construct validation. The readability test of this E-Module is 96.41%, and it is included in the readability category so that the E-Module can be said to be feasible to use. The results of the validation and readability tests show that the product is feasible to use.

Abstract

The era of Industry 5.0 requires physics education to adapt to technological advancements. Students often struggle to understand abstract concepts due to the limitations of tools and methods of learning that are less interactive. This research aims to develop a prototype for a harmonic vibration practical that integrates the Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) into a single Bifocal Modelling device. This approach allows students to see the application of physics concepts in real-time, enriching their learning experience. The method used is Research and Development (R&D), which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). The research results indicate that the use of this technology can enhance student engagement and help them understand the differences between the ideal model and real phenomena. Thus, students not only learn theory but also experience firsthand that makes learning more engaging. In addition, the integration of this technology equips students with the 21st-century skills needed in an increasingly complex job market. This research is expected to provide solutions to the challenges in physics teaching and pave the way for further research related to the application of technology. In this way, the integration of technology in physics education can prepare students to face the complexities of the modern workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to explore naturally occurring practices of positive reinforcement in the learning process of Mathematical Physics 2 and their impact on students' motivation and understanding. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews with the lecturer, and student questionnaires. The results show that the most frequently appearing forms of reinforcement included verbal praise, the awarding of additional points, and constructive feedback. Student responses indicate that these reinforcements had a positive effect on their enthusiasm for learning and classroom engagement. However, students also emphasized the importance of transparency and fairness in the distribution of reinforcement. This study provides an initial contribution to understanding naturally emerging reinforcement strategies and their relevance for further development as systematic instructional approaches in higher education.
