Abstract

Sistem pneumatik adalah semua sistem yang menggunakan tenaga yang disimpan dalam bentuk udara yang dimampatkan untuk menghasilkan suatu kerja. Dalam penerapannya, sistem pneumatik banyak digunakan sebagai sistem otomasi pada dunia industri. Pemakain teknologi kontrol pneumatik murni saat ini sudah sangat jarang sehingga banyak industri yang mengubah teknologinya menggunakan perpaduan teknologi elektrik dengan pneumatik. Salah satu teknologi yang digunakan adalah Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), PLC digunakan sebagai pengendali dan pneumatik hanya digunakan sebagai komponen daya. PLC merupakan salah satu jenis controller yang banyak digunakan di industri karena berbagai keungulannya. Penelitian dan pengembangan ditujukan kepada siswa kelas XII Teknik Elektronika Industri (TEI) yang sedang menempuh matapelajaran perekayasaan sistem kontrol pada materi pokok PLC di semester 6. Kelas XII TEI di SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan Ponorogo terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu: XII TEI A berjumlah 31 siswa dan XII TEI B berjumlah 29 siswa. Pada skripsi ini mengunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahap: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, dan (5) Evaluation. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini di uji kelayakannya oleh ahli untuk dinyatakan valid, selanjutnya di implementasikan kepada subjek uji coba untuk diuji kelayakan berdasarkan penilaian oleh pengguna pembelajaran. Hasil pengembangan berupa: Trainer aplikasi pneumatik dengan kendali PLC, dan jobsheet.  Adapun hasil pengujian produk oleh ahli didapatkan 49,5 untuk trainer dan 94.5 untuk jobsheet yang masuk dalam kriteria sangat valid. Selanjutnya produk di implementasikan kepada subjek ujicoba dimana hasilnya dinyatakan sangat layak dengan keseluruhan persentase validitas sebesar 93,13%, untuk trainer dan sebesar 91,99%, untuk jobsheet.

Abstract

Solving the unit commitment problem is an important task in power system operation for deciding a balanced power production between various types of generating units under technical constraints and environmental limitations. This paper presents a new intelligent computation method, called the Thunderstorm Algorithm (TA), for searching the optimal solution of the integrated economic and emission dispatch (IEED) problem as the operational assessment for determining unit commitment. A simulation using the IEEE-62 bus system showed that TA has smooth convergence and is applicable for solving the IEED problem. The IEED's solution is associated with the total fuel consumption and pollutant emission. The proposed TA method seems to be a viable new approach for finding the optimal solution of the IEED problem.

Abstract

Stemming is the process of finding a basic word with several stages of affix removal. The main reason for stemming is to check spelling and machine translation and to support the effectiveness of the retrieval process. This study uses the Nazief and Adriani algorithm for stemming Javanese-influenced words. The first step taken is data collection and making a basic word dictionary. Then do the stemming process. Before stemming, modifications are made to the rules. The rules of the Nazief and Adriani algorithm, which are based on the morphology rules of the Indonesian language, are modified to suit the morphological rules of the Javanese language. Of the 366 words that were tested, it produced 351 correct basic words and 15 basic words that experienced errors. The results show that this algorithm can be used for stemming Javanese with an accuracy value of 95.9%.

Abstract

This paper presents an economic operation considered renewable energy which is optimized using thunderstorm algorithm. The problem is constrained by an emission standard and various technical limits implemented on the 62-bus system model. Simulations showed that the renewable energy inclusion penetrates to the unit commitment of generating units with strongly approach for the computational solution. This inclusion also affects to the individual power production in accordance to the fuel cost and pollutant discharge.

Abstract

Presently, electrical energy consumption continues to increase from year to year. Therefore, a short-term load forecasting is required that electricity providers can deliver continuous electrical energy to electricity consumers. By considering the estimation of the electrical load, the scheduling plan for operation and allocation of reserves can be managed well by the supply side. This study is focused on a forecasting of electrical loads using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method considering a backpropagation algorithm model. The advantage of this method is to forecast the electrical load in accordance with patterns of past loads that have been taught. The data used for the learning is Actual Peak Load Period (APLP) data on the 150 kV system during 2017. Results show that the best network architecture is structured for the APLP Day and Night. Moreover, the momentum setting and understanding rate are 0.85 and 0.1 for the APLP Day. In contrast, 0.9 and 0.15 belong to the APLP Night. Based on the best network architecture, the APLP day testing process generates Mean Squared Error (MSE) around 0.04 and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) around 4.66%, while the APLP Night generates MSE in 0.16 and MAPE in 16.83%.

Abstract

Z-Source Inverter (ZSI) is famous power converter who has capability to deal with voltage sags, improved power factor and wide voltage range of output. Quasi Z Source Inverter (QZSI) is the modern ZSI who has continuous current of input and can reduce stress of the passive component. This paper proposes simple boost QZSI circuit as Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) using Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm in photovoltaic system. Grey Wolf algorithm has been compared with the Perturb and Observed (P&O) technique for gaining the maximum power from the sun. Both techniques can get the optimum power of solar panel not only at constant sun light condition but also under varying irradiance levels. The value of average power obtained from GWO technique is greater than P&O. Although the value of solar radiation changes, the output voltage remains stable and both algorithms carry on obtaining optimal power of the sun.

Abstract

At present, a controlling system of the fluid flow measurement is needed in industrial processes. Determination of the water quantity is also used to reduce the volume of water usage in the holding tank varies. The effort to overcome this problem has made using a system for regulating performances while a water flow based on the tank volume controlled using a PID system. This system uses a flow sensor to detect the water speed, an electric ball valve as an actuator. In principles, this tool is used to stabilize the output water speed per minute at a predetermined set point. This study is focused in five designed method comparison in associated with a water level without control, standard PID method, PID-Auto tuning method Matlab, PID-FA method, and ANFIS-PID-FA method. The results of the PID-FA training data are used as an input from ANFIS. From the simulation, it is also found that five control models have different performances while the ANFIS-PID-FA model is performed in the best control model. Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya dihibridasi dengan sistem pembangkit yang lain yaitu Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin menjadi salah satu energi alternatif yang menjanjikan di Indonesia. Hibridasi pembangkit listrik adalah menggunakan dua atau lebih pembangkit listrik dengan sumber energi yang berbeda, umumnya dikombinasikan dan disupply dengan PLN atau Genset sehingga diperoleh sinergi yang memberikan keuntungan ekonomis maupun teknis (keandalan sistem supply). Pembangkit Hybrid akan maksimal pemakaianya jika disertai dengan kendali bebannya. Kendali beban bertujuan mengatur pemakaian energi listrik secara efisien agar energi listrik yang dibangkitkan seimbang dengan penggunaan beban yang dikeluarkan sehingga Pembangkit Hybrid tidak akan terjadi Black Out. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan intensitas cahaya matahari mempengaruhi daya yang dihasilkan oleh sel surya. Intensitas cahaya matahari tertinggi saat pengujian yaitu pada siang hari sebesar 567 Lux dengan nilai tegangan 21.22 V dan arus 0.30 A, sedangkan intensitas cahaya matahari terendah pada sore pukul 17.00 dengan intensitas cahaya matahari 56 Lux dengan nilai tegangan 5.5 V dan arus 0.15 A.

Abstract

The Solar Power Plant is hybridized with other generating systems, namely the Wind Power Plant is one of the promising alternative energies in Indonesia. Power plant hybridization is using two or more power plants with different energy sources. Generally combined and supplied with PLN or Genset, in order to obtain synergies that provide economic and technical benefits (reliability of the supply system). The hybrid generator will maximize its use if supported by its load control. Use of efficient electrical energy is balanced with the use of the load released. Hybrid plants will not occur. Based on tests that have been carried out the intensity of sunlight affects the power produced by solar cells. The highest sunlight intensity when testing is during the day at 567 Lux with a voltage value of 21.22 V and current of 0.30 A, while the lowest intensity of sunlight is at 17.00 with the intensity of sunlight 56 ​​Lux with a voltage value of 5.5 V and current 0.15 A

Abstract

Transformator distribusi berguna sebagai pengubah energi listrik dari yang bertegangan menengah menjadi tegangan rendah sebelum disalurkan pada konsumen. PLN memiliki standart yang digunakan, untuk jatuh tegangan tidak boleh melebihi 5% sementara untuk ketidakseimbangan arus tidak boleh melebihi 10%. Penelitian mengenai profil tegangan dan arus perlu dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi serta menjaga kualitas penyaluran tenaga listrik pada sistem distribusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perhitungan matematis dengan data yang diperoleh secara langsung dari pihak PT. PLN Sumber Pucung. Dari hasil perhitungan dan analisa terdapat transformator yang memiliki kualitas tegangan arus yang tidak memenuhi standar PLN. Untuk perubahan tegangan ≠220 nilai tertinggi ada di transformator nomor 3 dengan nilai tegangan sebesar 239 Volt. Untuk ketidakseimbangan tegangan tertinggi ada pada 2% yaitu pada transformator nomor 2, 4, 5 dan 9, dengan selisih tegangan sebsar 4 Volt antar masing-masing fasa. Ketidakseimbangan arus antar fasa tertinggi terjadi pada transformator nomor 3 memiliki nilai ketidakseimbangan sebesar 150% pada fasa S-T. Untuk nilai ketidakseimbangan arus (R-S-T) tertinggi terdapat pada transformator nomor 3 dapat dikatakan sangat tinggi karena ketidakseimbangannya mencapai 41,9%.
