This research is based on the lack of the studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concepts and the studentsâ low achievement of mathematic at class IX SMPN 10 South Solok academic year 2013/2014. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the studentsâ comprehension ability of mathematical concepts by Quick on the Draw technique is better than Conventional technique does. The design of this research is experimental. The population is the students of class IX SMPN 10 South Solok academic year 2013/2014. Technique of selecting sample is randomly. As a result, IX2 is experiment class and IX1 is control class. The instrument that is used is testing with indicator of concept comprehension ability. The testing contains 9 items with high reliability (0.89). The studentsâ score is analyzed by using t-test one tail. It is found that ttable(1.67) <tcalculated(5.44). It means that the hypothesis is accepted with significant value 95%. This can be concluded that the studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concept by quick on the draw technique is better than the studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concept by conventional technique at IX class of SMPN 10 South Solok academic year 2013/2014.

This research is motivated by the students understanding of mathematical concepts is low and less students are responsible for a given task . The research aims to determine whether students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying active learning types Group To Group better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional teaching eighth grade students MTsN 1 Lubuk Basung academic year 2013/2014 . This type of research is experimental research , with a random design on the subject. The research instrument is the final test to learn that contain indicators of understanding the concept .Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average value of the experimental class higher than the control class . Hypothesis testing using t . From the calculations, t = 1.80 is greater than  = 1,70, the hypothesis is accepted . Based on the hypothesis test results concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts that apply active learning types Group To Group better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning .

This research is motivated by the group learning is not optimal and the understanding of mathematic concept the class VII students of SMPN 1 Bayang Utara is low. One of the means for improving the students understanding of mathematic concept is applying the cooperative learning model with NHT type accompanied by quiz. The purposes of this research is to know: 1) how the development understanding of mathematic concept indicators by using this the NHT type accompanied by quiz the class VII of SMPN 1 Bayang Utara , 2) whether the understanding of mathematic concept by using this model is better than using the conventional learning the class VII students of SMPN 1 Bayang Utara. This is an experimental research with Random to Subject design. The population in this research is class VII students of SMPN 1 Bayang Utara of the year 2012/2013, consist of two classes. The sampling technique is total sampling made randomly for determining the samples. So, in VII1 class is selected as an experimental class and the VII2 class as a control. The instrument used valid and reliable tests for the understanding of mathematic concept in the form essay on the convidence interval of 95%. Based on the results of data analysis, the students undersanding mathematic concept  by applying NHT-type cooperative learning model with quiz is better than using the conventional learning the class VII students of SMPN I Bayang Utara of the year 2012/2013.

This research based on the lack of comprehension of the mathematical concepts that looked from the study results of students grade VIII SMP 30 Padang. One of the way to increase students comprehension of mathematical concepts is with implement an active learning strategy type synergetic Teaching. This study aims to determine whether students comprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies type Synergetic Teaching is better than the students comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning in grade VIII SMP 30 Padang. This type of research is experimental research on the subject with a random design. The population in this study were all of the students grade VIII in the academic year 2012/2013. The sample in this study is VIII.7 class as the experimental class and the VIII.8 as the control class. Research instruments is an essay test with a reliability of 0.87. Based on the analysis of the data found that the two classes are normally distributed and homogeneous samples at the level of α = 0.05 and hypothesis test results obtained from the P-value = 0.008, less than α = 0.05, then the hypothesis in this research received. Thus, it can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies type synergetic Teaching better than students comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning in class VIII SMP 30 Padang.

This research based on the students understanding of mathematical concepts are still low. This study aims to determine whether students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying Discussion Method Type Buzz Group better than students understanding of mathematical concepts with the application of conventional learning. This type of research is experimental, the research design static group comparison. The population in this research is the students in grade VIII SMPN 14 Padang. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, with the consideration that both classes have an average that is similar to the decision classes VIII.6 and VIII.4 as samples. The instrument in this research is essay test with reliabilitas = 0,85. Results of data analysis that the two classes are normally distributed and homogeneous samples at the level of α = 0,05 and t test results obtained P-value = 0,000 is less than α = 0,05. It can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying Discussion Method Type Buzz Group VIII.4 grade better than students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning models VIII.6 grade SMP 14 Padang with 95% confidence level.

This research is motivated by studentâs understanding of matematical concepts. The purpose of this research is to know what is student`s understanding of matematical concepts at grade VIII SMP Islam Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh that use learning cycle model better than conventional model. Kind of this research is experimental research, with research plan is Randomized  to Subject. Population of this research is student`s at grade VIII SMP Islam Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh academic year 2013/2014. The instrumentation of this research is understanding test of mathematical concepts. Technique of data analysis is used in this research is t-test one side by using software MINITAB. Based on the result of t-test is P-value = 0,001, it means lower than  = 0,05, therefore hipotesis is accepted furthermove. We can conclude that student`s understanding of mathematical concepts is treated by using learning cycle better than student`s understanding of mathematical concepts is treated by using convensional learning at grade VIII SMP Islam Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh academic year 2013/2014.

This research was based by the understanding of mathematical concept and students are less able to express the idea with creatively and scientifically. This research aim to determine whether studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept by applying learning models of articulation beginning with constructivism approach is better than the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept with the application of conventional learning at class twelve grade students of SMKN 2 Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok School-Year 2013/2014. Type of research is experimental research. Population of research are students at twelve grade SMKN 2 Gunung Talang School-Year 2013/2014. The sampling technique is done randomly whith  class XII Akuntansi was chosen ekperimental class and class Marketing was control class. The instrument used in this study was final test with indicator of understanding the mathematical concept. Form of test used is a form of essay to amount seven question with a reliability test . Hypothesis testing used a t-test. The results of the data analysis obtained from  and  , it can be concluded that the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept with application of learning models of artikulasi beginning whith constructivism aproach was better than the students understanding of mathematical concept with conventional learning at twelve grade students SMKN 2 Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok School-Year 2013/2014.

This research based of the lack of the studentsâ comprehension of mathematics concepts. This condition can be shown from studentsâ mathematics achievements of class VIII MTsN Palangki of Sijunjung Regency in 2012/2013 Academic Year. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectivity of the application of cooperative learning type Think Talk Write toward the comprehension of studentsâ mathematical concepts and influence of the application of cooperative learning type Think Talk Write toward the comprehension of studentsâ mathematical concepts. This research is kind of experimental research with the design random on the subject. The population of this research is students in class VIII that consist of 6 classes. The instrument that is used in this research is questionnaire about learning effectivity and post test in form of essays with reliability of the test is 0.93. Technique of data analysis is using one side T- Test with MINITAB. The result of hypothesis test is gotten that P-value 0.008 is smaller than α that is 0.05, so the research hypothesis can be accepted. Consequently, it can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts with the application of cooperative learning type Think Talk Write is better than conventional learning in the class VIII of MTsN Palangki of Sijunjung Regency.

This research was stimulated by the backgraund of lower studentsâ activity in learning mathematic and their comprehension about the math concept at the class VIII SMPN I IV Jurai of South Pesisir Was Still Lower. The objective of this research are: 1) to know whatever the studentsâ teaching activity by using active teaching strategy of Firing Line Tipe provided with Handout. 2) To Know whatever the studentsâ comprehension of math concepety by using active teaching stategy of Firing Line type provided with Handout was better than studentsâ comprehension of math by using conventional teaching. The type of this research was experimental research was all students at the class VIII SMPN I IV Jurai of South Pesisir period 2013/2014 consisted four classes. Technique of taking sample was done randomly by selecting the class was VIII4 as exsperimental class and VIII2 control class. This research used intrument of observation sheets and studentsâ comprehension of mathematic concept test. This formh of test used essay by reliability test score R11=0,91. Based on the observation result can be concluded that the implementation of active teaching strategy of Firing Line type provided with Handout can improve studentsâ activity in teaching, especially students Y who work yhe problem from students X have increased from 83% become 95%. The result of hypothesis by using t-test was obtained p-value = 0,002 less than  = 0.05. Thus the hypothes in this research was accepted with the confidence level 95%. Therefore can be concluded that the studentsâ comprehension about mathematic concept by using active teaching strategy of Firing Line type provided with Handout was better than studentsâ comprehension of math concept by using conventional teaching model toward student at the class VIII SMPN I IV Jurai of South Pesisir.
