Abstract

In the continuously evolving digital era, preaching media is becoming increasingly vast and dynamic. One medium with significant potential is digitally-based posters. This research aims to identify and analyze the design strategies for digital-based posters as an effective medium for preaching. Through a qualitative approach and design study, the authors explore various design aspects, including the selection of illustrations, typography, and color that influence the success of the preaching message.

Abstract

Communication is the basis of social interaction activities in everyday life. There are four communication patterns, namely passive communication, aggressive communication, passive-aggressive communication, and assertive communication. Of the several communication patterns, assertive communication is the most effective communication pattern. However, assertive communication is still a common thing among the public. According to questionnaire data, 63.6% of 66 fresh graduates do not know assertive communication. A fresh graduate will be faced with problems such as work problems and other work demands. In addition, it is also necessary to have soft skills that are useful in the future. Therefore, assertive communication patterns are needed in the world of work. Seeing fresh graduates who are busy with work, informative and interesting educational media is needed, namely illustration books. The use of visuals and verbal in this book adjusts the characteristics of the target audience. Based on these phenomena and problems, this research uses the preparation stage and the creation stage. With this illustrated book media, it is hoped that the target audience can apply it in their daily lives, attract reading interest, and be able to work more productively in the future.

Abstract

The Darussalam Islamic Education Institute has study groups for KB, PPT, Kindergarten, and TPA. The building environment has not been equipped with a conducive environment, with the large number of study groups and the number of students making students feel less comfortable and safe. Even though every corner at LPI Darussalam can be used as a vehicle for learning to develop the basic abilities of growing children. LPI Darussalam requires a sign system as an information medium for spatial directions, space markers, and appeals to support the student learning process by using the pre-production stage including design strategies, communication strategies, creative strategies, and media strategies, the production stage includes visual concepts, and the post-production stage includes media implementation. Thus the sign system can be used as learning and child development in the aspects of language, art, motorism, and cognitive, so that students feel safe and comfortable when studying at school.

Abstract

The decline in interest in Jawatimuran karawitan among younger generations, especially children, is influenced by several factors, such as globalization, limited exposure to this art form in formal education, and the lack of suitable learning media. To address this issue, there is a need for appropriate media, one of which is an interactive illustrated book designed to introduce and preserve karawitan for children aged 7-12 years. This study aims to design characters for this interactive illustrated book. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with children. The results indicate that visually appealing and emotionally relevant character designs can increase children's interest. The characters Raka, Faqih, Rania, and Pak Joko, designed with attention to local cultural values, are expected to serve as effective media to foster children's appreciation and pride in Jawatimuran karawitan.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah nilai moral dan nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Cerita Rakyat Populer 34 Provinsi karya Widya Ross. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai moral dan nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Cerita Rakyat Populer 34 Provinsi karya Widya Ross. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian yang peneliti dapat dari cerita rakyat populer 34 provinsi karya Widya Ross, ditemukan nilai moral sebanyak 14 nilai yaitu: a) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri memiliki 6 nilai yaitu: (1) pemberani, (2) bekerja keras, (3) jujur, (4) tanggung jawab, (5) berusaha, (6) percaya diri, b) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial dan lingkungan alam memiliki 6 nilai yaitu: (1) tolong-menolong, (2) peduli terhadap orang lain, (3) tidak suka berbagi, (4) berbakti kepada orang tua, (5) tidak berbakti kepada orang tua, (6) pemaaf, c) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhannya memiliki 2 nilai yaitu: (1) Berdoa, (2) Bersyukur. Sedangkan nilai budaya sebanyak 14 nilai yaitu: a) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan memiliki 2 nilai yaitu: (1) suka berdoa, (2) bersyukur, b) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam memiliki 1 nilai yaitu: (1) kodrat alam, c) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat memiliki 3 nilai yaitu: (1) suka menolong, (2) tidak suka menolong, (3) saling memaafkan, d) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain memiliki 5 nilai yaitu: (1) kejujuran, (2) membalas budi, (3) kepatuhan, (4) menepati janji, (5) tidak menepati janji, e) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri memiliki 4 nilai yaitu: (1) bekerja keras, (2) keras kemauan, (3) keberanian, (4) kecerdikan

Abstract

LPI Darussalam requires a sign system as a medium for information on space instructions, space markers, and appeals to support the student learning process by using the pre-production stage including design strategies, communication strategies, creative strategies, and media strategies, the production stage includes visual concepts, and post-production stages include media implementation. With a sign system equipped with Darussalam students' illustrations and the use of bright colors and the selection of materials and sizes that are adapted to the students' space for playing and learning, it can be used as a vehicle in learning for the development of basic abilities for children's growth which includes aspects of language, cognitive, physical development. motor skills and art and students will feel safe and comfortable during the learning process at LPI Darussalam and teachers and students can interact optimally.

Abstract

Fashion telah mengalami evolusi yang luar biasa. Tren dan gaya fashion selalu berubah seiring perkembangan zaman. Fashion di Indonesia mendapatkan ruang/perhatian yang sangat besar, khususnya di kalangan remaja. Namun masih banyak remaja yang sering kebingungan dalam menentukan gaya berpakaian. Salah satu penyebabnya karena mereka belum mengenal dan memahami karakteristik fashion style yang sangat beragam. Dari permasalahan tersebut ditemukan solusi media edukasi berupa buku ilustrasi yang berisi informasi jenis-jenis fashion style, yaitu buku ensiklopedia fashion style yang berjudul Fashion Stylepedia. Dari hasil sintesis data, diperlukan adanya rancangan desain karakter yang dapat mengenalkan jenis-jenis fashion style beserta referensi fashion style yang dapat dijadikan pedoman remaja dalam mengeksplorasi gaya berpakaian. Perancangan desain karakter ini berguna untuk memberi gambaran secara visual bagaimana karakteristik setiap jenis fashion style. Terdapat dua tahapan dalam proses perancangan desain karakter ini, yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap penciptaan. Pada tahap persiapan melalui proses pengumpulan data, analisis 5W+1H, sintesis data, dan penentuan objek perancangan. Sedangkan pada tahap pencipataan meliputi pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi.

Abstract

A mascot is a character or form that can be formed from humans, animals, or objects that are used as figures that are considered to depict and/or reflect the image of a company. Mascots have an important role in the visual identity of a company because they can make promotional activities more attractive. In a promotional activity, Mascots can interact with the audience in their way which can make the atmosphere more lively and interesting. The design of the mascot for the Fan Vet Petcare Gresik clinic was carried out to strengthen the visual identity of a veterinary clinic so that it can attract more attention from animal lovers. The Fan Vet Petcare Gresik Clinic quite educational content as well as holding promotions and campaigns for the good of animals that are still not well cared for on the streets and pets, so the presence of a mascot for the Fan Vet Petcare Gresik Clinic is hoped that it can improve the activities carried out by the clinic. Fan Vet Petcare Gresik was delivered well and interestingly. The data analysis process and techniques use qualitative methods through the preparation and design creation stages. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively to obtain conclusions as a reference for finding solutions to existing problems. This mascot design aims to be the visual identity of the Fan Vet Petcare Gresik Veterinary Clinic and become its visual identity in promoting or campaigning for positive activities for animal lovers. In designing the mascot design, there will be several mascot design implementations with promotional design campaigns or educational content on social media.

Abstract

The problem of eating is closely related to the development of the child itself. Some signs in children who are malnourished can be seen from insignificant weight loss, difficulty concentrating which can occur due to anemia or a lack of vitamin A, pale skin or pale lip color, and easily tired and lethargic because the body is not carrying out its functions properly. Indonesia is one of the countries in the world that still requires special attention in terms of balanced nutrition. Consumption of food and nutrition makes a very large contribution to the nutritional status and health of children. Food also affects brain development. Lack of food containing the nutrients needed in a prolonged period can have an adverse effect on children's growth and result in changes in brain metabolism. The use of methods in conducting this research using Qualitative methods and Quantitative Methods. The qualitative method uses an interview approach, while the quantitative method uses a questionnaire approach. The approach taken to collect data resulted in a design concept with the keyword "Healthy with Fun, Nutritious Food". Besides having the meaning of the keyword, namely a message to parents that nutritious food will create a healthy body and through this illustrated book parents can get information easily and pleasantly through attractive visuals from various nutritional elements. This illustration book was designed because many parents do not understand the importance of nutritious and balanced food for their children.

Abstract

Identitas visual Desa Wisata Sanankerto yang telah dirancang masih kurang maksimal sehingga menjadi salah satu faktor yang berdampak akan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat sekitar terhadap keberadaan dan potensi dari destinasi desa wisata ini. Perancangan desain logo pada Desa Wisata Sanankerto Kabupaten Malang bertujuan untuk menciptakan identitas visual yang baik sebagai upaya untuk meningkatan brand awareness masyarakat terhadap desa wisata ini. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development. Metode Research and Development adalah metode dengan langkah: 1. Penelitian dan Pengumpulan Data (Research & Information Collecting),  2.Perencanaan Penelitian (Planning), 3.Pengembangan Desain (Develop Preliminary of Product), 4.Uji Coba Lapangan Awal (Preliminary Field Testing), dan selanjutnya Merivisi Hasil Uji Coba (Main Product Revision). Dalam melakukan pendekatan tersebut menghasilkan sebuah konsep desain dengan sebuah desain logo yang memiliki arti bahwa Desa Wisata Sanankerto memiliki potensi wisata yang berharga mulai dari potensi alam nan indah hingga kebudayaan yang menakjubkan. Logo yang dirancang digunakan sebagai media komunikasi potensi wisata yang dimiliki oleh destinasi wisata ini agar lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat. The visual identity Sanankerto Tourism Village that has been designed is still not optimal so that it becomes one of the factors that has an impact on the low awareness of the surrounding community about the existence and potential of this tourist village destination. The design of the logo design for the Sanankerto Tourism Village, Malang Regency aims to create a good visual identity as an effort to increase community brand awareness of this tourist village. In this study using the Research and Development method. The Research and Development method is a method with steps: 1. Research and Data Collection (Research & Information Collecting), 2. Research Planning (Planning), 3. Design Development (Develop Preliminary of Product), 4. Preliminary Field Trials (Preliminary Field) Testing), and then Revise the Test Results (Main Product Revision). In carrying out this approach, it produces a design concept with a logo design which means that the Sanankerto Tourism Village has valuable tourism potential ranging from beautiful natural potential to amazing culture. The designed logo is used as a communication medium for tourism potential owned by this tourist destination so that it is better known by the public.
