Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran TGH. Salman Alfarisi dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Islam di Desa Loang Maka, Kecamatan Janapria, Lombok Tengah, NTB. Kajian ini penting dilakukan mengingat kontribusi signifikan tokoh agama dalam pembangunan pendidikan Islam di tingkat lokal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, untuk penelitian tokoh pendidikan Islam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data mengadopsi model interaktif Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TGH. Salman Alfarisi memiliki tiga peran utama dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam: (1) sebagai pendiri dan pengembang lembaga pendidikan formal dan non-formal, (2) sebagai agen transformasi sosial-keagamaan masyarakat, dan (3) sebagai pemimpin spiritual yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai lokal dengan ajaran Islam. keberhasilan pengembangan pendidikan Islam di daerah sangat ditentukan oleh kemampuan tokoh agama dalam memahami konteks sosial-budaya setempat. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam berbasis kearifan lokal dan penguatan peran tokoh agama dalam pembangunan pendidikan di daerah.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is a general term used to describe an individual's mental health concerning the fulfillment of positive indicators of psychological functioning. Psychological well-being can be characterized as an indicator of good mental functioning and the drive to explore the potential of the individual as a whole to achieve success. This writing aims to explain the practice of counseling psychological well-being for adolescents using the benefits of environmental ecology introduced by Uri Bronfenbrenner, a psychologist from Cornell University, United States. Ecological theory views that the environmental context influences human development. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The researcher explains the activities, starting from preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The research results show that adolescent mental health assistance through an ecological approach goes very well. Great environmental ecology influences adolescents' psychological well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi revitalisasi madrasah dalam upaya meningkatkan daya saing lembaga pendidikan Islam di Lombok. Fenomena menurunnya minat masyarakat terhadap madrasah dan persaingan yang semakin ketat dengan sekolah umum memerlukan pendekatan strategis dalam pengelolaan madrasah. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai aspek revitalisasi meliputi kurikulum, sumber daya manusia, sarana prasarana, dan tata kelola kelembagaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa revitalisasi madrasah dapat dicapai melalui empat strategi utama: (1) penguatan kurikulum terintegrasi yang memadukan ilmu agama dan sains modern, (2) pengembangan kompetensi pendidik melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, (3) modernisasi infrastruktur pembelajaran dan teknologi pendidikan dan (4) penerapan manajemen berbasis mutu terpadu. Implementasi strategi tersebut terbukti meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, prestasi siswa, dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap madrasah. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model revitalisasi madrasah yang adaptif terhadap tuntutan zaman dengan tetap mempertahankan karakteristik pendidikan Islam

Abstract

This research examines the adaptation strategies implemented by pesantren in Lombok to face the challenges of the digital era. Amid increasingly massive digitalization, pesantren, as traditional Islamic educational institutions, are required to maintain pesantren values while adapting to technological developments. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method on five pesantren on Lombok Island, this research identifies various adaptation strategies to address these challenges. The results showed that pesantren in Lombok have implemented several adaptive strategies, including (1) integration of digital technology in the learning system, (2) curriculum development that combines religious knowledge with digital skills, (3) increasing the digital competence of ustadz and santri, and (4) strengthening filters against the negative impact of digital technology. Despite facing various obstacles such as limited infrastructure and human resources, pesantren in Lombok have shown the ability to transform without losing their fundamental characteristics as Islamic educational institutions. These findings provide an overview of how traditional educational institutions can adapt to the changing times while maintaining their essential values.

Abstract

The motivation to fulfill needs is a primary factor driving every action, including pursuing higher education. This study employed a quantitative-descriptive approach using a survey to map the hierarchy of needs and motivations of students studying at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). The research aimed to identify the primary needs and types of motivation among first-semester students of the Sociology Education Program at UNY for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population consisted of 100 new students, with a sample of 34 students (34%) selected randomly. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed descriptively using percentages. The findings revealed that most first-semester students were driven by the need for self-actualization (70.6%), while 29.4% were motivated by the need for esteem. Furthermore, intrinsic motivation dominated (82.4%) compared to extrinsic motivation (17.6%). This study concludes that self-actualization needs and intrinsic motivation are the primary factors encouraging new students to study at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study examines the blessing of Baitul Maqdis in the Qur'an using tafsir methodology, particularly through the interpretation given by Wahbah az-Zuhaili in Tafsir al-Munir, as well as the implementation of the meaning of the blessing of Baitul Maqdis in the contemporary context. The analysis focuses on five Qur'anic verses that refer to the “blessed land,” examining the meaning of blessing that includes both material and spiritual dimensions, and emphasizing its historical significance and universal applicability. The results explain that the prosperity of Baitul Maqdis goes beyond agricultural fertility or geographical advantages; it encompasses ethical, spiritual, and mission-oriented values that advocate resistance to colonization and injustice. In contemporary discourse, this blessing is manifested through the role of Baitul Maqdis as a center of global awareness, an inspiration for struggle, a promoter of interfaith solidarity, and a source of spiritual energy that strengthens dedication to upholding justice. This research confirms that understanding the blessing of Baitul Maqdis is an essential element of the Muslim aqidah, which involves the obligation to uphold its sanctity and the profound principles embedded in it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pendidikan Islam sebagai strategi untuk memperkuat identitas Suku Sasak Lombok di tengah arus globalisasi dan digitalisasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi, studi ini menyelidiki praktik-praktik pendidikan Islam yang menginkorporasikan nilai-nilai tradisional Sasak di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan formal dan non-formal di Lombok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal dalam kurikulum pendidikan Islam mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan apresiasi generasi muda terhadap warisan budaya mereka. Praktik-praktik seperti penggunaan bahasa Sasak dalam pembelajaran agama, integrasi ritual adat dalam kegiatan keagamaan, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk melestarikan tradisi lisan, terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat identitas kultural sekaligus meningkatkan literasi digital. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pendidikan Islam berbasis kearifan lokal dapat menjadi model yang efektif untuk mempertahankan identitas kultural di era digital, sekaligus mempersiapkan generasi muda Sasak menghadapi tantangan global tanpa kehilangan akar budayanya.

Abstract

Pop culture, a culture produced in a commercial ecosystem, is often interpreted as a light, contemporary, and fun culture so that it is easily accepted and enjoyed by the public, especially teenagers. Korean Pop Culture, for example, extends its influence throughout the world, not only in Indonesia. K-pop has attracted the sympathy of young people, including Muslim youth at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Ponorogo. This study examines the perception of Muslim youth at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ponorogo on Korean Pop Culture and its impact on Muslim youth at the school. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method by purposively selecting research subjects, namely Muslim youth students of MAN 2 Ponorogo who love Korean pop culture. This study shows that, firstly, the Muslim youth of man 2 Ponorogo perceives Korean Pop Culture as a symbol of novelty, trending, unique, colorful, combining various elements. Secondly, the Muslim youth of MAN 2 Ponorogo realize Korean Pop Culture has a positive and negative impact, which can eliminate Korean Pop Culture products that are not relevant to their identity as millennial teenagers and Indonesian Muslims.

Abstract

This study examines the motivation for charitable giving (sadaqah) in asbi ash-Shiddieqy's Al-Qur’anul Majid through the lens of Bourdieu's theory. The significance of this research lies in integrating social theory with Qur'anic interpretation to explore how capital, habitus, and practice influence charitable actions. The methodology involves a qualitative analysis of ash-Shiddieqy's tafsir using Bourdieu's theory, while identifying gaps in previous studies related to the roles of symbolic and cultural capital and gender equality in charitable giving. The novelty of this research is its application of Bourdieu’s theory to investigate how metaphors in the tafsir and gender equality impact motivation and practice in charitable giving. The findings indicate that the metaphors in Al-Qur’anul Majid simplify the concept of sadaqah, making it easier to understand and implement, thereby increasing motivation. Gender equality in charitable giving, as outlined in ash-Shiddieqy's tafsir, promotes active participation from all genders and reinforces egalitarian values in charitable practices. Furthermore, mutual reminders within the community, according to the tafsir, play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of charitable actions, strengthening social capital, and shaping a habitus that supports sustainable giving. This study contributes significant insights by linking Qur'anic exegesis with contemporary social theory, offering new perspectives on how social and symbolic factors influence charitable practices within religious and social contexts.

Abstract
