Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the profile or general picture regarding the use of Instagram which is currently popular among teenage students, as well as reducing the level of dependence experienced by teenage students. In this study, the approach used is quantitative with descriptive methods. Sampling was used by random sampling with a total sample of 106 students from one class X Mechatronics department at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. The aim of this research is to determine the profile of Instagram dependence among students. There are aspects that are the basis for knowing Instagram dependence, including 4 aspects, namely, Tolerance, Mood Modification, Replase, Conflict. Data collection techniques by conducting an instrument distribution in the form of a questionnaire to students who are the research sample. The research results show that students with Instagram dependence in class X mechatronics are in the High category 15%, Low category 16%, and in the Medium category 69%. After knowing the level of dependence on Instagram among students, the next step is to design programs and provide services based on the results of this research. In providing services, students are directed to carry out interviews to find out whether the services provided are acceptable to students and whether students experience a decrease in their use of Instagram. The next step is to give the posttest to students again so that a comparison can be carried out, so that it can be seen that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be concluded that the group guidance service is declared effective

Abstract

The background of this research is the high conformity of truant behavior in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Cipeundeuy. The purpose of this study was to find out the conformity of truant behavior before being given service, the implementation of the service and the effectiveness of group guidance services using the Cinematherapy technique to reduce the conformity of truant behavior in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Cipeundeuy. In this study using the Mix Methode with the explanatory sequential design. This design is the use of two quantitative and qualitative research methods sequentially (sequence). The population of this study was 100 students using a purposive sampling technique, namely 8 students who had a high conformity category based on the results of the pre-test. Quantitative data were collected using a conformity questionnaire for truant behavior, then for qualitative data using observation and interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that the majority are in the medium category, namely 72%, and the implementation of group guidance services using cinematherapy techniques is effective in reducing truant behavior conformity, which originally was in the high category to become low after being given group guidance services using cinematherapy techniques for two meetings.

Abstract

Self-acceptance is the basis for choosing and pursuing goals important for short-term and long-term happiness. The purpose of this research is to determine group guidance services to increase self-acceptance for class VIII students at SMPN 3 Cimahi. This research uses mixed methods or combination research. This research was conducted on 11 class VIII students who had a low self-acceptance category. Quantitative data was collected using a self-acceptance questionnaire with a total of 20 questions that had been validated with t-test results based on the output of Pair 1, which obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, while qualitative data was collected using observation and interviews. The research results showed that the self-acceptance profile was in the medium category (76%) and using group guidance services to increase self-acceptance for class VIII students at SMPN 3 Cimahi. The results show that the group guidance service to increase self-acceptance for students at SMPN 3 Cimahi is effective for students in the low category to become the high category after receiving group guidance.

Abstract

Sekolah menengah kejuruan dibentuk untuk menyiapkan lulusan agar dapat langsung bekerja sesuai keahlian yang ditempa selama siswa sekolah.  Namun ternyata tidak semua siswa SMK ingin langsung bekerja, beberapa di antaranya ingin melanjutkan pendidikan namun masih memiliki kebingungan antara mengambil jurusan yang sama atau berbeda dengan jurusan di SMK.  Hal ini terjadi di SMK TI Pembangunan Cimahi.  Sebanyak 18 siswa menyatakan diri untuk mengikuti pendidikan lanjutan. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan agar siswa dapat memantapkan pilihan jurusannya di perguruan tinggi melalui wawancara Genogram.  Genogram merupakan alat yang dapat digunakan untuk mengungkap karier siswa selama tiga generasi, yaitu generasi kakek-nenek, ayah-ibu, siswa.  Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of counseling in helping to solve various problems of students with specific learning difficulties in inclusive elementary schools. Specific learning difficulties are neurobiological disorders that cause children to have difficulties covering academic aspects such as reading, writing and counting skills. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Based on the results of the research obtained data that children with specific learning difficulties consist of three types, namely (1) dyslexia, (2) dysgraphia, and (3) dyscalculia. The impact of specific learning difficulties is low academic scores, low self-esteem, decreased motivation to learn, and unstable emotions. So that counseling for children with specific learning difficulties is to help problems with some of the effects of these difficulties, with the aim that children are able to learn optimally at school. The counseling techniques used are cognitive group counseling, reality counseling, Individualized Education Program (IEP) counseling, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) counseling.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide information and understanding to high school/equivalent Guidance and Counseling teachers in West Bandung Regency regarding the importance of Family Quality of Life (FQoL)-based counseling competencies for Guidance and Counseling teachers to improve counseling services in the process of mentoring parents who have children with special needs. Submission of material is done in the form of lectures and discussions. The results of this activity received a positive appreciation from Guidance and Counseling teachers that providing counseling services for parents of children with special needs based on FQoL can provide advocacy and strengthen parents' readiness in increasing interaction with children and optimizing parenting.

Abstract

The aim of this workshop is to improve the competency of State Elementary School teachers in implementing inclusive education. This activity uses the Service Learning (SL) method. Workshop activities were carried out at State Elementary School 106 Ajitunggal Cijambe Bandung with a sample of 40 elementary school teachers consisting of homeroom teachers and subject teachers. The workshop carried out in this service is carried out in three stages, namely (1) the stage of providing inclusive education material; (2). identification of students with special needs; (3). practice making profile reports of students with special needs; (4) post-training evaluation. The results of the workshop were that there was an increase in teacher competence at SDN 106 Ajitunggal, especially in the aspects of pedagogical competence and social competence. The pedagogical aspect of improvement includes teachers' understanding of the design of individual learning programs (PPI) for students with special needs and evaluation of their learning outcomes; Meanwhile, the aspect of increasing social competence includes teachers' understanding of how to communicate and interact effectively and efficiently with students with special needs and being able to communicate wisely to parents regarding the development of their children with special needs.

Abstract

Technological advances require collaboration in classroom learning practices by providing accessibility to optimize student learning. Classroom learning should be able to accommodate all student learning needs, including students with dyslexia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for assistive technology for learning innovation in one of the students who experienced dyslexia in elementary school. This research is qualitative research, using case study method. Data was collected by using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The instruments used in collecting data include: interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation guidelines. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that one of the dyslexic students who is currently in fifth grade elementary school has a phonological deficit and needs learning media to help him practice increasing phonological awareness. Therefore, assistive technology-based learning media is needed to improve the quality of education for dyslexic students, especially in the training process to increase their phonological awareness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the psychological well-being description of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in Bandung. The sample used was 168 PAUD teachers in Bandung. The research approach used is quantitative research with survey research methods. The data collection technique used is by distributing questionnaires via google form. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the psychological well-being level of early childhood teachers in Bandung during the Covid-19 pandemic was 17.3% in the high category, 72.6% in the medium category, and 10.1% in the low category. In addition, there are different levels of psychological well-being in every aspect, both in the aspects of self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy (independence), environmental control, goals, and self-growth.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran psychological well-being guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) se Kota Bandung. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 168 guru PAUD kota Bandung. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kauntitatif dengan metode penelitian survey. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menyebarkan kuesioner melalui google form. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tingkat psychological well-being guru PAUD se Kota Bandung pada saat pandemi covid-19 yaitu 17,3% pada kategori tinggi, 72,6% pada kategori sedang, dan 10,1% pada kategori rendah. Selain itu terdapat perbedaan tingkat psychological well-being pada setiap aspeknya, baik dalam aspek penerimaan diri, hubungan positif dengan orang lain, otonomi (kemandirian), penguasaan lingkungan, tujuan, dan pertumbuhan diri.

Abstract

The purpose of the inspirational talk show is to understand the meaning of gratitude in improving the mental health of students. The talk show activity was held at the Ash-Shalihin Qur'an House, South Jakarta and the participants who attended were students with an age range of 7-12 years. The method used in community service is using the Service Learning (SL) method. The talk show activities in this service go through three stages, namely (1) identifying the mental health conditions of students in memorizing the Qur'an; (2) the stage of providing material about the meaning of gratitude; (3) discussion and question and answer sessions with students. Based on the results of the talk show, the first session of identification obtained data that some students are still less consistent in murojaah or repeating the memorization of the Qur'an that they have learned, so they easily forget; when studying, they are often distracted by playing; sometimes some still feel forced to memorize so that the learning mood is not good, so they end up chatting more with their friends. As for after being given material and discussion sessions, the result is that on average, the santri have an increased understanding of the meaning of gratitude which can make them have a mentally healthy person.
