Abstract

The curriculum as an educational programme (ideal curriculum) emphasises the operational learning process and becomes an important component in the national education system which is interrelated in an integrated manner to achieve national education goals. The purpose of this article is to analyse the management function in the management of independent learning curriculum learning in public schools. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The results show that management functions can be distilled into three main functions, namely planning, implementation, and supervision. The stages of curriculum implementation: (1) Programme development, including annual, semester or quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily programs. In addition, there is also a guidance and counseling program or remedial program; (2) Implementation of learning. That is the process of interaction between learners and their environment so that there is a change in behavior for the better; (3) Evaluation, a process carried out throughout the process of implementing the curriculum quarterly or semester as well as formative or summative final assessment includes an overall assessment as a whole for the purposes of evaluating curriculum implementation.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 4 Limboto through the application of learning with the group investigation method on the material of light and its properties. This study uses the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a group investigation method approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation, and tests (evaluation). Then the collected data will be analyzed based on the achievement of classical learning completeness with an average completeness achievement of 85%. The results of the study indicate that the application of learning with the Group Investigation method can improve the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 4 Limboto on the material of light and its properties. The average value of student learning outcomes experienced a significant increase, namely from the pre-cycle of 54.52 with a completeness of 23.81%, increasing in the first cycle to 79.28 with a completeness of 71.43%, and in the second cycle reaching 88.57 with a completeness of 90.48%. In addition to improving cognitive aspects, this method also has a positive impact on students' affective and social aspects, such as active participation in discussions, courage to express opinions, ability to work together, and a sense of responsibility. Therefore, learning using the Group Investigation method can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy to improve the quality of learning outcomes while developing students' social skills.Keywords: Group Investigation, Learning Outcomes, Science AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Limboto melalui penerapan pembelajaran dengan metode group investigation pada materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan metode group investigation. Adapun teknink pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes (evaluasi). Kemudian data yang telah dikumpulkan akan dianalisis berdasarkan capaian ketuntasan belajar klasikal dengan capaian ketuntasan rata-rata 85%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran dengan metode Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Limboto pada materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan signifikan, yaitu dari pra siklus sebesar 54,52 dengan ketuntasan 23,81%, naik pada siklus I menjadi 79,28 dengan ketuntasan 71,43%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 88,57 dengan ketuntasan 90,48%. Selain peningkatan aspek kognitif, metode ini juga berdampak positif terhadap aspek afektif dan sosial siswa, seperti keaktifan dalam diskusi, keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, kemampuan bekerja sama, serta rasa tanggung jawab. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran dengan metode Group Investigation dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar sekaligus membangun keterampilan sosial siswa.Kata Kunci: Group Investigation, Hasil Belajar, IPA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Puzzle Media in Improving the Reading Ability of Q.S Al-Ikhlas in the Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject of Grade 1 at MI Al-Maghfirah. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were Grade 1 teachers and all grade 1 students of MI Al-Magfirah Bina Jaya, Tolangohula District, Gorontalo Regency. The object of this study was to determine the Use of Puzzle Media in Improving the Reading Ability of Q.S Al-Ikhlas in the Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject of Grade 1 MI Al-Magfirah Bina Jaya, Tolangohula District, Gorontalo Regency. Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in science learning using the discovery learning model in grade IV of SDN 9 Limboto. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 19 students of grade IV of SDN 9 Limboto. The objects in this study are the discovery learning model and students' critical thinking skills. This study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle had two meetings. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and test techniques. The data analysis technique used in the study was descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the discovery learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning in grade IV. This is shown by the results obtained by students in the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. In the pre-cycle, there were 7 students who were categorized as achieving KKTP with a percentage of 36% then increased in cycle I which was categorized as achieving KKTP as many as 10 students with a percentage of 52% and in cycle II increased to 16 students who achieved KKTP with a percentage of 84%. Thus, students' critical thinking skills and analysis of observation sheets improve in a better direction by applying the discovery learning model.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moral peserta didik. Namun, proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru menyebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dan kurang percaya diri dalam menyampaikan pendapat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan humanis pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MTs Al Huda Kota Gorontalo, meliputi perencanaan guru, kendala yang dihadapi, dan solusi yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan guru Akidah Akhlak, peserta didik, dan kepala madrasah sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan humanis diterapkan melalui penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, penggunaan metode diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta pemberian kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengemukakan pendapat. Penerapan tersebut mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, keberanian, dan rasa percaya diri peserta didik. Kendala yang dihadapi berupa perbedaan karakteristik siswa dan rendahnya partisipasi sebagian peserta didik. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan personal, komunikasi yang baik, dan penciptaan suasana belajar yang nyaman. Dengan demikian, pendekatan humanis mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan berorientasi pada pengembangan karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine teacher creativity in implementing digital-based learning models in the science subject at SDIT Lukmanul Hakim. This study uses a qualitative research type. The primary data sources in this study are school residents including: the principal and several teaching staff members. Based on the results, the conclusion shows that teacher creativity is a key element in the successful implementation of digital-based learning in the science subject at SDIT Lukmanul Hakim Limboto. This creativity is not only seen from the use of various digital media, but more so in the teacher's ability to understand student learning characteristics, map learning needs, and adapt media to the level of student development. Teachers' use of digital technology is not a mechanical act, but rather a reflective process involving careful pedagogical consideration. Digital media has been shown to facilitate student understanding through conceptual visualization, interactive materials, and stimulating activities that enhance student concentration and motivation. The use of videos, digital presentations, and educational games makes science material more accessible and understandable. However, the success of technology use is still influenced by factors such as the readiness of infrastructure, students' literacy and numeracy skills, and teachers' accuracy in simplifying scientific language and terminology.Keywords: Teacher Creativity, Digital-Based Learning, Science and ScienceAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk kreativitas guru dalam implemenasi model pembelajaran berbasis digital pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SDIT Lukmanul Hakim. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah warga sekolah yang meliputi: Kepala sekolah dan beberapa dewan staf guru. Berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas guru menjadi elemen kunci dalam keberhasilan implementasi pembelajaran berbasis digital pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SDIT Lukmanul Hakim Limboto. Kreativitas tersebut tidak sekadar terlihat dari penggunaan media digital yang beragam, tetapi lebih pada kemampuan guru dalam memahami karakteristik belajar siswa, memetakan kebutuhan pembelajaran, dan menyesuaikan media dengan tingkat perkembangan peserta didik. Penggunaan teknologi digital oleh guru bukanlah tindakan yang bersifat mekanis, tetapi merupakan proses reflektif yang melibatkan pertimbangan pedagogis yang matang. Media digital terbukti dapat memfasilitasi pemahaman siswa melalui visualisasi konsep, materi interaktif, serta aktivitas stimulatif yang meningkatkan konsentrasi dan motivasi siswa. Penggunaan video, bahan tayang digital, serta games edukatif membuat materi IPAS lebih mudah diakses dan dipahami. Namun demikian, keberhasilan penggunaan teknologi tetap dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti kesiapan sarana-prasarana, kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa, serta ketepatan guru dalam menyederhanakan bahasa dan istilah ilmiah. Kata Kunci: Kreativitas Guru, Pembelajaran Berbasis Digital, IPAS

Abstract

The rapid expansion of virtual learning environments has transformed contemporary education, yet disparities in academic achievement persist among online learners. Motivation has been widely recognized as a key determinant of academic success in traditional settings; however, its longitudinal impact within fully digital contexts remains insufficiently examined. This study investigates the dynamic relationship between student motivation and academic achievement in virtual learning environments over four consecutive semesters. A longitudinal panel design was employed involving 420 undergraduate students enrolled in fully online programs. Data were collected using validated scales measuring intrinsic motivation, academic self-efficacy, and perceived autonomy, alongside institutional records of cumulative grade point average. Cross-lagged structural equation modeling was applied to analyze temporal and reciprocal effects. Results indicate that academic self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation significantly predict subsequent academic achievement, while prior achievement also reinforces future motivational levels, demonstrating a reciprocal developmental pattern. Combined motivational constructs explained a substantial proportion of variance in cumulative GPA across semesters. The findings underscore the central role of sustained motivational resources in supporting long-term academic success within digital education contexts. Strengthening motivational support mechanisms is essential for enhancing performance and persistence in virtual learning environments.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education has the potential to revolutionize formative assessment practices by offering real-time, personalized feedback. Formative assessment, traditionally seen as an ongoing process to monitor student progress, faces challenges such as scalability and timely feedback. AI-powered systems can provide instant insights into student performance, facilitating continuous learning evaluation. This research aims to explore how AI can enhance formative assessment by providing continuous and individualized evaluation of students’ progress. A mixed-methods approach was employed, using surveys, interviews, and classroom observations across five schools that have implemented AI-based learning platforms. The results revealed that AI-driven formative assessments significantly improved student engagement and performance, with 80% of teachers reporting more efficient monitoring and intervention strategies. However, concerns about the depersonalization of feedback and the risk of over-reliance on AI were noted, suggesting the need for a balance between technological tools and human interaction. The study concludes that AI has the potential to transform formative assessment practices but requires careful integration into teaching methods to ensure it complements rather than replaces teacher-student interactions.

Abstract

The integration of machine learning algorithms into educational practices has the potential to transform personalized learning and improve student outcomes. Traditional one-size-fits-all teaching methods often fail to address the diverse needs of students, resulting in disengagement and unequal academic progress. Machine learning offers an adaptive approach, tailoring educational content to individual students’ needs and providing real-time feedback. This research explores the role of machine learning algorithms in personalized learning environments and their impact on improving student performance. The study employs a mixed-methods design, combining quantitative analysis of academic performance with qualitative interviews of students and teachers to assess the effectiveness of AI-driven learning tools. Results indicate significant improvements in student engagement, achievement, and self-regulated learning, with 80% of students showing increased academic performance. However, concerns regarding the depersonalization of feedback and the limitations of AI in addressing emotional and social aspects of learning were noted. The study concludes that while machine learning algorithms can significantly enhance personalized learning and improve student outcomes, they must be integrated alongside human-centered teaching practices to ensure a balanced and holistic educational experience. AI should serve as a complement to, not a replacement for, human interaction in the learning process.

Abstract

The integration of predictive analytics in education is transforming the learning environment by enabling personalized learning pathways. Machine learning algorithms, through real-time data analysis, have the potential to forecast student performance, identify at-risk learners, and suggest timely interventions. Traditional educational methods often fail to address the diverse needs of students, and predictive analytics offers a more adaptive approach to teaching and learning. This study explores how machine learning is shaping future classrooms by assessing its impact on student outcomes, engagement, and overall learning experiences. The research aims to determine how AI-driven predictive tools can optimize learning by providing tailored content and real-time feedback. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative assessments and qualitative interviews with students and teachers. The results indicate that students who interacted with AI-powered learning tools showed a significant improvement in academic performance and engagement. However, concerns were raised regarding the depersonalization of learning due to the AI’s lack of emotional intelligence. The study concludes that while predictive analytics offers significant benefits in personalizing education, it should complement rather than replace human interaction in the classroom. To fully harness the potential of machine learning, future research should explore the long-term impacts of AI on student development and address ethical concerns related to data privacy.
