Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kemagnetan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inquiry di kelas IV SDN Bekasi Jaya 1. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dan memiliki dua siklus penting yang dilakukan, terbagi atas siklus I dan siklus II. Jumlah siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu 32 orang dengan 18 orang siswa perempuan dan 14 orang siswa laki-laki. Desain penelitian tindakan menerapkan setiap siklus melibatkan tahapan berupa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat secara signifikan pada siklus II. Sebanyak 9 siswa dari 2 kelompok mencapai kategori baik atau tuntas KKM dengan persentase 30%, sementara 21 siswa lainnya dari 5 kelompok berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase 70%. Peningkatan nilai dari siklus I ke siklus II tercatat sebesar 26,81%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep kemagnetan, yang berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan akan berfokus pada memaparkan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) pada kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan dalam memahami bacaan yang didukung oleh penggunaan media cetak salah satunya dengan media cerita bergambar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur. dalam penelitian ini, berbagai sumber literatur dainalisis untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas model CIRC dan dampak media visual terhadap dorongan motivasi dan hasil dalam belajar para siswa. Hasil penelitian yang didapat dari beberapa literatur menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dalam membaca, meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik, memperbaiki kemampuan literasi, serta serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan media cerita bergambar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajatan Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperlukan dalam mempelajari sains di sekolah dasar sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran sains. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Desain ini melibatkan dua kelompok subjek, satu diberi perlakuan eksperimental (kelompok eksperimen) dan yang lain tidak diberikan perlakuan (kelas kontrol). Data penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti dari hasil pretest-posttest, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis inferensial dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan statistik uji-t, taraf signifikan 5% = 0,05. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran STEM berpengaruh terhadap pembelajaran sains di sekolah dasar.. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar meningkat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STEM. Pembelajaran sains dengan model pembelajaran STEM mampu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam melakukan project yang diberikan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model and its influence on improving student learning outcomes through a literature review. Snowball Throwing is a learning model that involves students' active participation in the learning process in a fun and creative way through discussion. This model has proven successful in increasing student participation and learning outcomes because it encourages them to actively interact and work together in solving problems. This research uses a literature review method, by collecting data from various journal sources, articles and related research. The results of the analysis show that consistently applying the Snowball Throwing model can improve student learning outcomes, especially in terms of understanding concepts, critical thinking skills, and collaboration between students. This research suggests that the Snowball Throwing model be applied as an effective learning method, especially in learning contexts that prioritize active interaction. It is hoped that these findings can help educators in choosing appropriate learning methods to support improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh dari penerapan emedia pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic literature review (SLR). Artikel yang didapatkan pada databse Sinta, Google Scholar dan Directory Open Acces Journal (DOAJ) dari tahun 2019 hingga 2024. Berdasarkan kriteria inklusi, terdapat 30 artikel dipilih untuk studi awal. Setelah data dikumpulkan, setiap artikel dikategorikan berdasarkan judul, tahun studi, jenjang pendidikan, dan jenis media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menambahkan media pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan matematika siswa. Media Pembelajaran yang sering digunakan adalah permainan tradisional salah satunya adalah damprak atau engklek. Etnomatematika lebih sering digunakan dalam satuan pendidikan tingkat SD. Dengan hal itu, media pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika sangat cocok untuk mencapai tujuan, meningkatkan kemampuan siswa, dan meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang budaya yang ada di sekitar mereka dan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are fundamental skills that are crucial for elementary school students in addressing the challenges of the digital era. However, current teaching practices tend to be less effective in fostering deep comprehension. Therefore, the deep learning approach emerges as an alternative that can enhance conceptual understanding in a more profound and sustainable manner. This article aims to examine the implementation of the deep learning approach in literacy and numeracy education at the elementary level through a literature review method. The literature review is conducted by searching, selecting, and critically analyzing academic journals, books, and relevant research reports. The selection criteria for sources include the credibility of the authors, relevance to the topic, and publication within the last ten years. The data analysis technique employed is thematic analysis to identify patterns and conceptual relationships between deep learning and literacy as well as numeracy education at the elementary level. The findings indicate that deep learning can improve students' critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and conceptual understanding. The implications of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for educators in designing more effective teaching strategies.

Abstract

An ineffective or inefficient teaching model can be a contributing factor to the suboptimal development of students logical and deep thinking skills. To enhance students critical thinking abilities, innovation is required to successfully improve the quality of learning. The Problem Based Learning approach can be utilized as an option or alternative solution to improve the quality of education. This literature review aims to identify and analyze 30 articles related to the application of the PBL model at the elementary school level, specifically focusing on its use as a strategy to enhance students critical reasoning skills. The study employs a literature review approach, which involves stages of identifying relevant references on the topic of interest, analyzing them, selecting the most pertinent sources, and thoroughly examining each reference used. Based on the reviewed literature, findings indicate that the PBL approach has a positive impact on learning activities and successfully enhances the critical reasoning skills of elementary school students, a crucial competency to master in order to face the challenges of the 21st century. The findings of this literature review are expected to provide valuable insights and serve as a reference for future researchers and educators in managing classroom learning.

Abstract

The literacy level of primary school students in Indonesia remains relatively low, as reflected in international reports such as PISA. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method in enhancing literacy skills among primary school students. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA guidelines, the study analyzed 09 selected articles out of 89 identified publications. These articles were selected through strict inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzed using thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that PjBL is effective in improving basic literacy skills in lower grades through simple, child-relevant projects such as creating miniatures or storytelling with pictures. In upper grades, PjBL has been shown to foster higher-order thinking skills, digital literacy, and student creativity through more complex and collaborative projects. The main challenges in implementing this method include limited facilities, lack of accessible reading materials, and teacher preparedness in designing and facilitating project-based learning. Thus, PjBL is an innovative, relevant, and adaptive approach for enhancing the literacy quality of primary school students. To ensure optimal effectiveness, educational infrastructure support, teacher training, and the development of flexible and contextual curricula are required.Keywords: Literacy, project-based learning, primary school students, critical thinking, creativity.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of group discussion methods in enhancing students' learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, and communication abilities across various educational levels. Through group discussions, students engage directly with classmates, not only improving material comprehension but also developing collaboration skills and an appreciation for diverse perspectives. The findings show that this method positively impacts students' understanding, both in social and exact sciences. The success of group discussion largely depends on active student involvement and teachers’ facilitation skills. Although effective, implementing this method requires careful planning and an active teacher role to address challenges such as unequal student participation and the need for relevant material preparation. By overcoming these challenges, group discussions can become a learning approach that deeply engages students while building critical and collaborative skills essential for their future.
