Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi terus memberikan kemudahan dan dukungan bagi manusia di berbagai sektor kehidupan, termasuk sektor pariwisata. Sektor pariwisata menjadi salah satu bidang yang sangat terbantu oleh kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan Augmented Reality. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun media informasi dan promosi berbasis Augmented Reality pada Kebun Binatang Kasang Kulim. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) dengan enam tahapan, yaitu Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, dan Distribution. Metode MDLC adalah metode yang sesuai untuk digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa aplikasi Augmented Reality sebagai media informasi dan promosi pada Kebun Binatang Kasang Kulim. Aplikasi ini menampikan visualisasi objek 3D yang dilengkapi dengan informasi dan storytelling dari berbagai jenis satwa yang dipindai melalui marker, serta dilengkapi dengan fitur game interaktif sebagai daya tarik promosi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lingkungan sekolah terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Program Keahlian (DDPK) di SMK N 1 Rao Selatan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya capaian hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), di mana sebagian besar siswa belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Penelitian kuantitatif adalah penelitian yang berdasarkan pada filsafat positivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif/statistic dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang ditetapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X TKJ tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan jumlah sampel 58 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis dan persepsi terhadap lingkungan sekolah, serta dokumentasi hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif, uji prasyarat, dan uji hipotesis melalui SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis memberikan kontribusi sebesar 3,7% terhadap hasil belajar, lingkungan sekolah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 6,7%, sedangkan keduanya secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi sebesar 6,9%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipunkemampuan berpikir kritis dan lingkungan sekolah memberikan kontribusinamun masih relatif kecil, dibanding faktor lain yang lebih dominan dalam memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Informatics learning for grade XI requires a strong understanding of algorithm strategies to develop students' logical thinking abilities. The Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method applied by teachers often pays insufficient attention to the learning process, making it less attractive to Generation Z students who are accustomed to fast visual content like TikTok. This condition causes students to regard algorithm strategies as difficult and irrelevant material. This research aims to examine the effect of TikTok educational content projects in improving grade XI students' understanding at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang regarding algorithm strategy material. The research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The research population consists of all grade XI students at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang with a sample of 60 students selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through tests using Google Forms. Data analysis includes normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 21. The Lilliefors normality test results show Lo(calculated) 0.095 (experimental) and 0.093 (control) < Lt(table) 0.159, indicating normally distributed data. The homogeneity test yielded a significance of 0.962 > 0.05 (homogeneous). The t-test shows sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, proving there is a significant difference between PjBL with TikTok content and PjBL in improving understanding of algorithm strategies.

Abstract

Pentingnya penguasaan ICT oleh serang guru baik dalam hal mempersiapkan media dan sumber pembelajaran digital maupun melaksanakan dan mengelola pembelajaran secara daring merupakan tantangan bagi para guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensinya di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Peran guru sangat menentukan dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas dan berbasis dunia industri. Usaha untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam menyampaikan materi pelajaran kepada siswa adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan serta sosialisasi pembelajaran berbasis komputer. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam bidang ICT melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan secara berkala bagi guru-guru SMK TITL di Sumatera Barat. Metode pelatihan yang dilakukan yaitu memberikan pertanyaan/wawancara tentang pengetahuan guru di bidang pembelajaran berbasis ICT, termasuk pembelajaran daring serta menceritakan pengalaman mereka selama ini, kemudian memberikan pelatihan sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi, serta memberikan postest berupa angket di akhir kegiatan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelatihan ini adalah meningkatnya kompetensi guru SMK Teknik Ketenagalistrikan dalam merancang proses pembelajaran daring yang dibuktikan dengan hasil rancangan e-learning masing-masing peserta sesuai dengan mata pelajarannya masing-masing dan juga meningkatnya keyakinan dan kepercayaan diri guru SMK dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam layanan digital pembelajaran

Abstract

The limited number of studies on the transformation of digital-based informatics learning through social media platforms serves as the background for this research, despite the phenomenon’s substantial potential to enhance student learning outcomes in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing a TikTok project on the learning outcomes of Grade XI students in informatics and to assess the effectiveness of digital-based learning transformation. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 30 Grade XI F8 students from SMAN 1 Gunung Talang, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument comprised a 34-item multiple-choice informatics achievement test that had been previously validated. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain calculation. The results revealed a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 47.37 (pretest) to 90.30 (posttest), representing a 90.5% increase. The mean N-Gain score of 0.82 falls into the high category, with 90% of students demonstrating high improvement and 10% moderate improvement. The paired sample t-test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), and Cohen’s d effect size was calculated at 2.904, indicating a very large effect. The study concludes that the implementation of the TikTok project is highly effective in enhancing student learning outcomes and shows strong potential as an innovative model for digital-based informatics learning transformation. The implications include a theoretical contribution to the literature on digital learning and the opening of avenues for further research on the use of other digital platforms and the development of hybrid learning models that integrate technology and pedagogy.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a solution to the simplification of attendance activities at PT. Perkebuan Nusantara VI of the Wood Law, to produce attendance applications on the Android platform and equipped with a website (web service) and Client-Server, this attendance application uses PHP programming, to produce attendance applications based on Android and generate attendance applications using a MySQL database. This research method is the Unified Modeling Language or UML, which is a visual modeling method that functions as a means of designing object-oriented systems using certain notations and some architects. This model uses an application that is on the target side (client) after getting a request from the tracker (server) then the client will ask for the coordinates of its position on the GPS (Global Positioning System), which will then be sent to the tracker (server). The results of this study, namely 1. This attendance system was developed using current technology such as Android, which allows the company to get a lot of benefits, because it will make it easier and faster for employees in terms of attendance. This also affects the reports that will be made by HRD, because the data in the system is neatly organized so that making reports will be very easy. In terms of designing an Android-based online attendance system, good methods and ongoing research are needed so that in the future this system can be useful for the company. 2. With this online attendance system, employees can optimize their work very well. Because the attendance system is very easy to access and time can be used efficiently. 3. With the GPS lock method used, employees who want to be absent must actually be in the work unit area.

Abstract

Career selection is a strategic process for university students in determining a future path aligned with their potential, interests, and personality traits. Students of the Informatics Engineering Education Program at Universitas Negeri Padang face diverse career opportunities, necessitating accurate mapping of personality types and career interests to support more targeted career decision-making. This study aims to examine the construct validity and reliability of students' personality types and career interests based on Holland’s RIASEC theory, which classifies individuals into six personality types correlated with specific career tendencies. A quantitative approach was employed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The sample consisted of 51 active students from the 2021 cohort, selected using Slovin’s formula from a total population of 104. The research instrument was a closed-ended questionnaire adapted from the Self-Directed Search (SDS), utilizing a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed with SmartPLS 4 software. The analysis showed that all indicators had outer loading values > 0.70 and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) > 0.50. Additionally, Cronbach’s Alpha and Composite Reliability values exceeded 0.90, indicating excellent instrument reliability. The Standardized Root Mean Square Residual (SRMR) values were 0.074 for the personality model and 0.071 for the career interest model, demonstrating acceptable model fit. These findings confirm that the personality and career interest models based on Holland’s theory are valid and reliable, and may serve as a foundation for the development of structured, data-driven assessment instruments and career guidance services.

Abstract

Saat ini banyak orang yang memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi diantaranya dalam bidang usaha jasa wedding organizer. Wedding organizer saat ini bisa ditemukan melalui iklan di Google maupun iklan di sosial media. Di Kota Padang masih sedikit wedding organizer yang memiliki iklan di Google maupun sosial media, dan ada juga yang tidak memanfaat teknologi sehingga hanya dikenal oleh beberapa orang terdekat saja. Karena permasalahan tersebut dibuatlah aplikasi yang bisa mengumpulkan wedding organizer di Kota Padang. Aplikasi ini menggabungkan beberapa wedding organizer di dalam satu sistem yang akan memudahkan customer untuk dapat melihatnya. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan framework yii2 disertai penggunaan metode waterfall dalam penelitiannya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Quizizz as an evaluation medium on the learning progress of tenth-grade Informatics students at SMAN 1 Gunuang Omeh. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using two classes: one experimental class utilizing Quizizz for formative assessment and one control class using conventional paper-based tests. Data were collected through pretests and posttests to measure students’ progress before and after treatment. Statistical analyses included normality, homogeneity, and independent samples t-tests. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (86.81) was higher than that of the control class (79.74). The t-test value of -2.841 with a significance level of 0.006 (<0.05) indicated a significant difference between the two groups. These findings demonstrate that the use of Quizizz as an evaluation medium significantly improves students’ learning progress by fostering engagement, motivation, and immediate feedback. The integration of technology-based evaluation enhances interactivity and helps students better understand learning materials. Thus, Quizizz proves to be an effective alternative evaluation tool for supporting meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences in Informatics education.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mengubah pandangan bisnis secara dramatis, termasuk dalam strategi pemasaran produk .Perkembangan teknologi membuka peluang besar bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk memanfaatkan digital marketing dalam mempromosikan produk mereka. Namun, banyak pelaku UMKM di Kota Payakumbuh yang masih terbatas dalam pemanfaatan teknologi ini, terutama dalam membuat materi promosi digital yang efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi digital UMKM melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi, khususnya dalam pembuatan materi digital marketing menggunakan Aplikasi Capcut. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode pelatihan langsung yang mana pesertanya adalah pemilik UMKM di kota Payakumbuh. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Payakumbuh Barat ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi peserta dalam membuat materi promosi digital yang dapat diterapkan dalam usaha mereka. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga membuka wawasan peserta tentang pentingnya digital marketing dalam meningkatkan daya saing produk mereka di pasar yang semakin kompetitif, serta memberikan keterampilan praktis yang dapat langsung diterapkan dalam usaha mereka.
