Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive e-worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Liveworksheets for differentiated learning on the topic of pyramids (limas) in Phase D that is valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The research employed a development method using the ADDIE model, involving eighth-grade students as subjects. Instruments used include validity, practicality, and effectiveness instruments, with data collected through questionnaires and learning outcome tests. The developed product consists of three E-LKPDs tailored to students’ readiness levels: developing, proficient, and highly proficient. Validation results show an average score of 3.81 out of 4, categorized as very valid. Practicality was measured through teacher and student responses, yielding an average of 76.26%, which falls into the practical category. Effectiveness was assessed based on the learning test results, showing a mastery level of 89%, indicating that the E-LKPD is effective for classroom use. This study is essential due to the growing need for interactive learning materials that accommodate differences in student learning abilities, particularly within the current differentiated learning framework. Moreover, the use of digital tools like Liveworksheets remains underutilized, especially in mathematics topics such as pyramids. This E-LKPD is expected to make learning more engaging and tailored to individual needs, and serve as a foundation for future development of more innovative digital learning materials.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses berpikir siswa tunagrahita ringan dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual persegi dan persegi panjang berdasarkan pemecahan masalah IDEAL. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 siswa tunagrahita ringan di SLB-C TPA Negeri 1 Branjangan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu peneliti, soal tes, dan pedoman wawancara. Proses berpikir kedua subjek cenderung mengalami proses disequilibrium, asimilasi, akomodasi dan equilibrium pada lima tahap IDEAL. Subjek mengalami disequilibrium ketika subjek tidak dapat memahami maksud dari soal karena belum pernah menjumpai masalah kontekstual sebelumnya, mengalami asimilasi ketika subjek menjawab pertanyaan dari peneliti secara spontan, mengalami akomodasi ketika subjek dapat menjawab pertanyaan dengan benar yang awalnya salah, dan mengalami equilibrium ketika subjek mampu memahami serta menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan dengan benar. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi bagi dunia Pendidikan khususnya sekolah yang memiliki siswa tunagrahita ringan dalam mendesain pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi pemecahan masalah. Abstract The purpose of this research was to analyze the thought process of mildly retarded students in solving square and rectangular contextual problems based on IDEAL problem solving. This type of research was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects were 2 mildly retarded students at SLB-C TPA Negeri 1 Branjangan. The data collection methods used were tests and interviews. The instruments of this research were researchers, test questions, and interview guidelines. The thinking process of the two subjects tends to experience the process of disequilibrium, assimilation, accommodation and equilibrium at the five stages of IDEAL. The subject experienced disequilibrium when the subject could not understand the meaning of the problem because he had never encountered contextual problems before, experienced assimilation when the subject answered questions from the researcher spontaneously, experienced accommodation when the subject could answer questions correctly which were initially wrong, and experienced equilibrium when the subject was able to understand and answer the questions. The results of this study have implications for the world of education, especially schools with mildly retarded students in designing learning that can facilitate problem solving.

Abstract

Representasi matematis menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam belajar matematika karena dengan kemampuan representasi matematis yang baik, dapat membantu memecahan permasalahan kompleks menjadi lebih sederhana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa Field Dependent (FD) dan Field Independent (FI) dalam menyelesaikan dua soal uraian persamaan garis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-I SMP Negeri 1 Jember tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri dari 10 siswa FD dan 19 siswa FI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyelesaiakan masalah, FD cenderung menggunakan dua indikator representasi matematis yaitu ekspresi matematis dan verbal. FD belum mampu memahami informasi yang diberikan pada soal dengan tepat sehingga, rencana penyelesaian yang dibuat tidak mengarah pada solusi. FI sudah mencakup tiga indikator representasi matematis yaitu visual berupa sketsa grafik titik potong sumbu-X dan sumbu-Y dengan tepat dan tabel untuk memperjelas masalah, ekspresi matematis berupa model matematika yang digunakan juga ditulis dengan runtut dan tepat serta representasi verbal yang digunakan berupa kesimpulan dan penjelasan langkah-langkah penyelesaian dari tes tulis juga dapat dijawab dengan baik menggunakan bahasanya sendiri. Selain itu, FI juga dapat menyelesaikan soal menggunakan alternatif penyelesaian lain.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) using the Wizer.Me platform for teaching polyhedron material that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model. The E-LKPD was designed based on a guided discovery learning model to help students better understand polyhedron concepts, their interconnections, and applications. Learning activities include matching polyhedron shapes with their names and discovering formulas through the “fill on image” feature in exploration tasks. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Ledokombo, Jember, involving eighth-grade students as participants. Validation results show that the E-LKPD achieved a validity score (Va) of 3.84, indicating a valid category. The practicality level reached 82%, as evidenced by student response questionnaires, reflecting positive usability and engagement. Furthermore, the E-LKPD demonstrated effectiveness, with 34 out of 43 students achieving classical mastery, meaning more than 75% met the minimum learning standard. These findings indicate that the developed E-LKPD using Wizer.Me effectively supports students’ conceptual understanding and learning outcomes in polyhedron material, providing a valid, practical, and efficient digital learning tool for mathematics education.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts in the material of quadrilaterals and triangles. Therefore, researchers developed a teaching module to make it easier for students to understand mathematical concepts that suit student characteristics based on the ethnomathematics of typical batik found in the school environment. The aim of this research is to develop ethnomathematics-based teaching modules that are valid, practical, and effective. This research uses the Plomp development model. The subjects used in the trial class were class VIII B SMPN 1 Arjasa, using the random sampling method. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) The ethnomathematics-based teaching module developed is valid, practical, and effective; 2) The teaching module that has been developed can help students understand the concept of flat shapes with a student completion percentage of 83.33% as well as student responses who are interested and happy to use the teaching module. The teaching module that has been developed can be used in mathematics learning for class VII middle school. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika pada materi segiempat dan segitiga. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan modul ajar untuk memudahkan siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa berdasarkan etnomatematika khas batik yang terdapat di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis etnomatematika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp. Subyek yang digunakan pada kelas uji coba adalah kelas VIII B SMPN 1 Arjasa, dengan menggunakan metode random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Modul ajar berbasis etnomatematika yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif; 2) Modul ajar yang dikembangkan dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep bangun datar dengan persentase ketuntasan siswa sebesar 83,33% serta respon siswa yang tertarik dan senang menggunakan modul ajar. Modul ajar yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas VII SMP.

Abstract

Teori perilaku dalam pendidikan diterapkan melalui program dengan prinsip-prinsip behaviorisme, seperti penguatan positif dan negatif. Misalnya, penghargaan atau pujian diberikan untuk perilaku yang diinginkan, sementara tugas yang tidak disukai siswa dihilangkan ketika mereka menunjukkan perilaku baik. Namun, teori perilaku sering dikritik karena terlalu fokus pada perilaku yang dapat diamati dan kurang memperhatikan proses mental internal seperti motivasi, pemahaman, dan kreativitas. Pergeseran terlihat dengan munculnya teori pembelajaran kognitif dan konstruktivis yang menekankan peran aktif siswa dalam membangun pengetahuan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis teori perilaku dalam pembelajaran dengan metode systematic literature reviewe. Kesimpulan bahwa teori perilaku dalam pendidikan dan kesehatan mental semakin relevan di era komputer dan internet saat ini. Perubahan perilaku yang disebabkan oleh kemajuan teknologi informasi tidak didukung oleh fondasi kepribadian yang kuat, terutama dalam hal agama dan karakter. Degradasi moral dan masalah adaptasi sosial muncul sebagai hasilnya. Teori perilaku seperti kesadaran metakognitif sangat penting untuk membantu siswa belajar, terutama matematika. Siswa yang mampu berpikir secara metakognitif mungkin lebih percaya diri dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Selain itu, literasi digital memainkan peran penting dalam mengajarkan perilaku berpikir kritis dan kreatif sambil mempertahankan nilai-nilai sosial, emosional, dan spiritual. Abstract

Most classes in Indonesia are heterogeneous classes, which must be a challenge for educators in implementing this independent curriculum. Therefore, this study aims to describe the probematics of educators in implementing the independent curriculum. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the subject of 16 educators at the secondary school level in Jember Regency. The instrument used is a questionnaire collected using the questionnaire method with google form media which contains 17 questions. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that there were problems in implementing the independent curriculum, namely 1) Lack of training on the independent curriculum. 2) Difficulty formulating the flow of learning objectives. 3) Knowing the needs of individual students. 4) Carrying out assessments.

Abstract

Buta aksara masih menjadi pekerjaan yang belum tuntas diselesaikan oleh pemerintah Indonesia sebagai upaya peningkatan pembangunan berkelanjutan Suistainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. Kabupaten Jember merupakan kabupaten dengan presentase buta aksara tertinggi mencapai 167.118 juta dengan usia produktif 15 hingga 59 tahun tersebar di 31 Kecamatan di Kabupaten Jember. Setelah dilakukan research mengenai beberapa daerah di Kabupaten Jember didapatkan salah satu informasi mengenai buta aksara yakni daerah Gunung Pasang desa Suci Kecamatan Panti Kabupaten Jember. Pada 30 Januari 2023 lalu, berkunjung ke daerah tersebut untuk memastikan informasi yang didapatkan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara bersama pihak mitra didapatkan hasil yakni penyelenggaraan rumah belajar untuk meningkatkan angka melek aksara masyarakat di Gunung Pasang. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tahap tahap awal, tahap perancangan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Proses pembelajaran pada rumah belajar dilakukan secara indoor dan outing, kegiatan belajar yang dilakukan secara outing meliputi: pembelajaran seperti biasa menggunakan media pembelajaran di dalam ruangan, mini jelajah, mencocokkan gambar, melengkapi kata dari objek-objek, menghitung jumlah, dan menulis dan membacakan warna dengan alam.

Abstract

Students with a rigor level of geometric thinking can analytically solve problems, yet the ability may not be readily observable. Thus, an example of how students solve problems merits explorations. Inspired by students problem solving, this study aimed to examine the students anticipatory profile in determining Papaya tree roots' dimensions. This qualitative research utilized tests and interview. Two tests were carried out: van Hiele geometric level grouping test for selecting the research participants and the report-based test for the actual project. Seventeen students took the van Hiele test, and one of them, who achieved the rigor level, was selected for the interview. Data obtained from the interview were then analyzed qualitatively. The study showed that students with a rigor level of geometric thinking anticipated analytically. The subject was able to explain a geometric problem systematically, starting from analyzing problems, clarifying detailss, to presenting arguments clearly and precisely. The findings in this study generate useful information for teachers who train their students to analyze a geometric problem correctly and adequately.
