Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic caused a decrease in the number of tourist visits and state revenue in the Indonesian tourism sector was 20.7 billion. The tourism sector's contribution to Indonesia's GDP in 2021 was only 4.2% and before the pandemic was 4.7%. Virtual Reality (VR) is an option for traveling during a pandemic. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of tourists, willingness to pay, and the factors that influence the willingness to pay of tourists on the use of VR. The sample of this study was 115 respondents who had visited Malang Night Paradise and were interested in using VR in Adventure Land. Data were analysed by using descriptive analysis, Contingent Valuation Method (CVM): bidding games & open-ended method, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the characteristics of tourists were dominated by young people. The maximum price that respondents are willing to pay is IDR 26,772/ticket and the optimal price is IDR 19,295/ticket. This price is lower than the current ticket price, which is IDR 20,000. The factors that have a positive/negative and significant effect on the value of WTP are education, monthly income/pocket money, gender, and marital status. Therefore, companies can focus on increasing product and marketing innovation. Keywords: contingent valuation method, preference, regression, virtual reality, willingness to pay

Abstract

Unemployment is one of the economic disorders that affect the economic growth rate. In addition, the recent pandemic outbreak has turned the medical crisis into a global financial downturn, threatening the health and employment of people around the world. Unemployment insurance is intended to assist workers with partial and momentary income replacement, access to skill training, and job placement assistance during their unemployment period. The scheme was launched in Indonesia on March 2021. This study analyzed the intention effect toward participation and the effect of attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control towards the intention to participate using the Theory of Planned Behaviour. The total number of registered companies in DKI Jakarta Regional is 111.855, while the registered workers are 5.853.717. The quantity of samples based on the minimum sample calculation findings with the minimum number of samples obtained is 170 respondents. There were 200 participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in the DKI Jakarta regional office who participated as respondents during the research period. SEM analysis methods are used in this study. The result showed that attitude toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control positively and significantly influence the intention to participate. Subjective norm is significant as an intervening variable between attitude and perceived behavioral control toward the intention to participate. Thus, strategies focusing on these factors can increase participation in the unemployment insurance scheme. Keywords: attitude toward behavior, participation intention, perceived behavioral control, subjective norm, unemployment insurance

Abstract

Micro business is the sector that has been hit the hardest by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Business capital assistance is the assistance most needed by micro businesses. However, micro enterprises have barriers to access and use of finance. This study aims to analyze the effect of BMT resilience, financial inclusion and financial literacy on the resilience of micro-enterprises during the Covid-19 pandemic with a total of 150 micro-enterprises and 18 BMT respondents in Brebes Regency. Data processing method in the form of quantitative descriptive analysis using SEM-PLS. The results of this study show that the resilience of micro-enterprises during the Covid-19 pandemic was influenced by BMT financial inclusion and financial literacy. BMT makes it easier for micro-enterprises who are unbankable to gain access to financial institutions to obtain business capital and provide basic knowledge about basic financial management so they can survive during a crisis due to a pandemic. On the other hand, BMT as a financial institution requires efforts to remain resilient in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, among internal and external factors that have a significant effect on BMT resilience are strengthening human resources, capital, management, regulatory compliance, supervision and infrastructure. Keywords: BMT resilience, business resilience, Covid-19 Pandemic, financial inclusion, financial literacy

Abstract

Digital transformation is inevitable for all global organizations as the technology grows rapidly. It has been significantly changing business landscape as well as business model. Digital transformation initiatives have been widely implemented by organizations in various global industries, however most of this efforts failed. Recent studies found that management is one of key factors attributed to the failure. This study aimed at analyzing the relationship between variables that influence digital transformation succes, in particularly in the property industry. It based on full range leadership model and supported by extension variables, such as organizational culture and readiness for change. 125 samples from mid managers of a property company were analyzed using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The result indicates that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on digital transformation through organizational culture and readiness for change. This study suggests organization’s top management to encourage middle managers in implementing transformational leadership behaviors in order to achieve successful digital transformation.

Abstract

Research Originality: This study provides micro-level evidence on the dual effects of fertilizer subsidies on rice farmers’ production and profitability, a dimension rarely examined simultaneously at the household level in Indonesia. Using data from two contrasting rice-producing regions, the study isolates subsidy effects on both physical output and farm profit while controlling for input costs and price conditions. Research Objectives: To analyze the effects of fertilizer subsidies on rice production and farm profit in Karawang (West Java) and Lombok (West Nusa Tenggara). Research Methods: OLS regression was applied to cross-sectional data from 51 rice-farming households. Two models were estimated: a production function and a profit function. Empirical Results: Fertilizer quantity, land size, and labor positively influence rice production. Farm profit is significantly affected by production quantity, rice price, total cost, and pesticide cost. Fertilizer cost is not a significant determinant of profit. Implications: Fertilizer quantity, not cost, drives production. Subsidies should be maintained but reoriented toward targeted, quantity-based schemes and improved distribution efficiency to maximize welfare impact. JEL Classification: Q12, Q18, D24, I32

Abstract

New Normal is a change in behavior to continue carrying out normal activities but coupled with the implementation of health protocols to prevent Covid-19 transmission. In Indonesia itself, the new normal is applied as a realistic response from the Indonesian government to the existence of COVID-19 as well as the results of the analysis in various sectors of national life, especially the future of the national economy in the medium and long term. After the implementation of the new normal, it automatically affects the routine activities carried out by the community, especially those activities that were restricted by the government at the time of the New Normal. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence behavior change after the application of the New Normal in the Covid-19 Pandemic. A modified Theory of Planned Behavior is used in this study using testing through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). A total of 427 respondents who have worked have answered the online questionnaire containing 61 questions. The results of this study indicate that knowledge and understanding of covid-19 make people understand the severity they feel and the vulnerabilities they may experience. The severity and vulnerability they feel also have an influence on their attitudes, behavior control, past behavior, and subjective norms so that they have a strong factor in building their intention to behave during the pandemic when the new normal is enacted. The intention that has been built with the support of attitudinal factors, past behavior, subjective norms, and behavior control also changes people's behavior. Employees are able to more moderate the relationship between attitudes towards intention and the relationship between past behavior and intention than entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the effect of circular economy practices on sustainable supply chain management and to identify which dimensions of the circular economy most significantly contribute to improving supply chain performance. The research was conducted between February and April 2025 in the Cigondewah area of Bandung City, West Java, known as a center for small and medium-sized textile industries. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing surveys and documentation analysis. Data were collected from 120 textile business actors through structured questionnaires and interviews, supported by secondary data from industry reports and government sustainability policies. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of circular economy practices has a positive and significant influence on the performance of sustainable supply chains. Through dimensional analysis, the study reveals that Rethink, Refurbish, and Reuse strongly enhance cost efficiency; Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle improve agility; and Rethink, Repurpose, Reuse, and Recycle effectively support environmental sustainability. Social sustainability is primarily driven by Recycle, while Remanufacture and Recover require strategic improvement. Reliability is strengthened by Recycle, Repurpose, Reuse, and Rethink, but Recover remains a key challenge. In the dimension of responsiveness, Recycle performs well, while Remanufacture and Recover need targeted attention. These insights provide practical implications for prioritizing specific circular economy dimensions to advance supply chain sustainability in the textile sector.
