Abstract

West Sumatra is recorded to have an electrification ratio of 92.96%. Every year this figure will continue to increase, with the increase in the electrification ratio in West Sumatra, the quality of the required electric power will increase. Meanwhile, an increase in the electrification ratio will cause a decrease in the quality of electric power. The power quality of the electric power system is affected by disturbances. In other words, some disturbances occur in the electric power system which causes a decrease in power quality. The disturbance is in the form of external factors and internal factors. External factors include lightning, fallen trees, and others, while internal factors include short interruptions, voltage swells, voltage and current transients, and voltage flicker. Of these disturbances, the discussion will be focused on voltage flicker disturbances. Voltage flickers have several pathways, including causing malfunctions in the protective relay, and voltage surges that can cause bright and dim flickering of lighting lamps. The purpose of this final project is to create a tool to detect the presence of Voltage Flicker using the fast Fourier transform method so that it can observe the flicker that occurs with fast Fourier transform waves in Matlab applications.

Abstract

Not much different from the working principle of ordinary aircraft, Unmanned Aircraft also uses an airfoil design on the wings to be able to manipulate aerodynamics so that the aircraft can fly. it's just that airplanes are usually controlled by pilots while Unmanned aircraft are controlled remotely connected by radio signals. To carry out its rift mission, the aircraft is equipped with an autonomous system by determining way-points assisted by GPS so that later the aircraft can fly more precisely than manually controlled directly by humans. When flying automatically, the aircraft is often constrained by failed take-offs and when flying on missions the position of the aircraft making turns (Loop Maneuver) is often imprecise. Therefore, the time taken by the aircraft to perform the loop maneuver is calculated using the circle circumference formula and divided by the average speed of the aircraft.

Abstract

Image processing technology (image processing) at this time can be done using a computer. An image that can be recognized by a computer is called a digital image. One application of image processing (image processing) is the field of face detection (face detection). Today's face detection system is one of the most important technologies. Because, facial recognition systems are closely related to security systems, where facial recognition systems can be applied in various places and situations, namely: security system applications, facial disguise recognition applications, and database information system applications for an institution. In this study, we will discuss facial recognition using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method and the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) used is Adaptive Resonance Theory (ART). The application used to conduct this research is Matlab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem keamanan pintu menggunakan pengenalan wajah secara otomatis menggunakan Raspberry Pi sebagai pusat pengendali. Prinsip kerja alat ini adalah menggunakan webcam yang didukung oleh Raspberry Pi untuk dapat mendeteksi dan mengidentifikasi wajah menggunakan pemrograman Python. Dalam pengenalan wajah digunakan metode Viola-Jones, dimana akan dicari titik penting dari citra dengan citra yang ada di database, kemudian dilakukan pencocokan citra. Raspberry Pi berfungsi sebagai kontrol utama untuk mengolah data yang diterima dari webcam dan pushbutton untuk kemudian diteruskan ke relay untuk menggerakkan solenoid door lock untuk mengunci pintu, mengaktifkan buzzer, mengaktifkan motor untuk membuka dan menutup pintu serta mengirimkan notifikasi berupa pesan ke perangkat HP atau laptop melalui aplikasi Pushbullet.

Abstract

In this study, the authors compared the achievement of the quality of graduates of the Electrical Engineering Education study program and non-educational Electrical Engineering, and this research was conducted on graduates of the Electrical Engineering Education study program at UNP and Electrical Engineering non-educational at Andalas University. The type of research used was a literature study, study research procedures The literature has four stages, namely data collection, data analysis, and results. From the results of the research that has been done, the curriculum for Electrical Engineering Education at Padang State University and the non-Electrical Engineering Education curriculum at Andalas University have differences. Where the Electrical Engineering Education curriculum at Padang State University is more directed at the quality of graduates to work in the world of education while the non-Electrical Engineering Education curriculum at Andalas University is more directed at the quality of graduates to work in the industrial world.

Abstract

Loss is the amount of energy lost in the process of distributing electrical energy from the substation to the consumer. PT PLN (Persero) ULP Indarung's losses in semester 1 of 2020 were still quite high with a total of 10,314,804 kWh, while non-technical losses contributed 30.76% kWh of the total or equal to 3,173,508 kWh. Subscription Data Needs Attention (DLPD) to obtain Operational Targets (SO) and Operational Targets (TO), establish good communication with internal (Outsourcing) and External (community) parties to obtain accurate Operational Targets (TO), and implement P2TL SOPs in the field. After P2TL optimization efforts were made, the total losses in semester 1 of 2021 were 8,108,489 kWh, while non-technical losses in semester 1 of 2021 contributed 4.03% of the total or equal to 326,762 kWh. Therefore the P2TL optimization effort is said to be successful because it can reduce non-technical losses from 3,173,804 kWh to 326,762 kWh, with P2TL itself contributing 2,020,376 kWh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau kembali, untuk mengetahui dan mengungkapkan masalah serta ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran pada perkuliahan di Laboratorium Dasar dan Pengukuran UNP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif dengan data yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada metode kuantitatif diambil dari pengisian kuisioner dan metode kualitatif menggunakan wawancara observasi. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan untuk data kuantitatif adalah melakukan tabulasi data terhadap kuesioner dan menghitung skor berdasarkan data yang sudah didapatkan, sedangkan analisis data kualitatif digunakan analisis data menurut Miles dan Hubberman. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Rencana pembelajaran semester dan modul pembelajaran yang digunakan pada Perkuliahan di Laboratorium Pengukuran Listrik Universitas Negeri Padang dengan menggunakan model evaluasi Countenance Stake secara keseluruhan dalam kategori sesuai, dengan tingkat capaian responden pada tahap Antecedent sebesar 36.67 % untuk kategori sangat sesuai, 53.33 % untuk kategori sesuai, dan 10% untuk kategori kurang sesuai. Pada tahap Transaction sebesar 36.67 % untuk kategori sangat sesuai, 56.67 % untuk kategori sesuai, dan 6.66% untuk kategori kurang sesuai dan pada tahap Outcomes sebesar 16.67 % untuk kategori sangat sesuai, 80% untuk kategori sesuai, dan 3.33% untuk kategori kurang sesuai. Dari penggunaan model Evaluasi Countenance Stake, Rencana Pembelajaran Semester dan modul pembelajaran layak diterapkan pada pembelajaran praktikum dengan memperhatikan beberapa permasalahan-permasalahan yang ditemukan.

Abstract

Pada saat sekarang ini, bisnis budidaya ikan lele sangat banyak digeluti oleh para pengusaha mikro maupun makro sebagai sumber pendapatan utama. Biasanya para peternak ikan lele selalu membeli bibit ikan dan mengembangkannya menjadi ikan siap panen. Pada saat pembibitan skala besar biasanya para peternak tesebut selalu menghitung jumlah bibit secara manual sehingga membutuhkan karyawan dan waktu yang sangat lama. Hal ini membuat para pertenak selalu menghabiskan waktunya terlalu lama dalam menghitung bibit tersebut, Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat suatu karya ilmiah yang dapat memudahkan para peternak ikan lele dalam menentukan jumlah bibit ikan yang lebih efisien dan baik serta dapat menghemat waktu perhitungan secara otomatis, penelitian ini berupa pembuatan perangkat baik dalam bentuk hardware maupun software. Hardware berupa wadah yang dapat menampung bibit ikan yang meliputi arduino nano sebagai pusat kontrol dari perangkat ini dan rangkaian sensor photodiode sebagai pendeteksi adanya bibit ikan yang masuk atau melewati tempat yang sudah dipasangi rangkaian sensor tersebut. Sedangkan Software yang digunakan pada sistem pengontrolan alat ini adalah arduino IDE yang dapat mengontrol kerja perangkat. Setelah dilakukannya uji coba pada perangkat ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa perangkat ini dapat bekerja dengan baik dan juga sesuai subjek penelitian. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah para peternak budidaya ikan lele dan bisa digunakan oleh para peternak baik secara skala kecil maupun skala besar sesuai dengan kebutuhan para peternak tersebut pada zaman ini

Abstract

Along with the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, information and communication in all fields, the level of consumer demand for services is becoming greater. By predicting the current background and reality, as long as the wheels of trade keep turning, the shipping service industry, especially those concerning packages or goods, is still sought after and needed. Before the goods or packages are delivered to the destination address by the courier, the incoming goods will first be sorted based on the courier's work area. The sorting process is still done manually using human power. Therefore, this research designed a sorting tool for goods based on the barcode printed on the goods. As many as 10 times testing this tool there is no error at all. Sorted items have been placed in place.

Abstract

The recent increase in crime is wrong a result of the economic crisis. Especially during the Covid-19 outbreak, people's economic activities were limited. Apart from the health sector, the Covid-19 outbreak has affected the economic sector, especially the sustainability of activities and income. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has led to a potential increase in crime due to economic demand pressures, in 2020 the number of theft and theft with violence in households is 1,628,634. This final project aims to design a Home Security Monitoring system with Pir Sensors and Microcontroller-Based Cameras and the Internet of Things using the ESP32-CAM type as a microcontroller for the control center. The PIR sensor functions to send notifications to users when it detects movement, then the OV2640 camera will take photos and videos and then send the results to the operator via smartphone using the Telegram bot application to monitor activities at home. This test results that the maximum distance that can be detected by objects is 6 meters. Testing the entire system that has been carried out proves that the system is able to work in detecting, recording and sending the results to the user. The time required for sending object detection photos and videos is 4.7 seconds and 40.7 seconds.
