Abstract

Objective: This study aims to describe the management of e-Report Cards in Vocational High Schools (SMK) throughout Kuranji District, Padang City, reviewed from the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The study population is all 226 SMK teachers in Kuranji District, Padang City. The research sample is 58 people who were determined using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire that has met the validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through the calculation of the average value and Respondent Achievement Level (TCR). Results: The results of the study indicate that the management of e-Report Cards in Vocational High Schools (SMK) throughout Kuranji District, Padang City is in the good category with an average value of 4.40 and a TCR of 88.00%. The implementation indicator received the highest score with an average of 4.45 and a TCR of 89.02%. The monitoring indicator received the lowest score with an average of 4.28 and a TCR of 85.60%. Novelty: This study provides an empirical overview of e-Report Card management in vocational high schools based on the POAC management function, which includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of educational facility management in public senior high schools in Basa Ampek Balai Tapan District, covering aspects of procurement, utilization, maintenance, inventory, and supervision. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The study population consisted of 92 teachers from public senior high schools in Basa Ampek Balai Tapan District, with a sample of 78 teachers selected using proportional random sampling techniques. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the average technique (mean). The results showed that teachers' perceptions of educational facility management were generally in the good category with an average score of 4.13. The procurement aspect obtained an average score of 3.80 (good), utilization 3.44 (sufficient), maintenance 4.56 (good), inventory 4.47 (good), and supervision 4.40 (good). The maintenance aspect was the indicator with the highest score, while utilization received the lowest score. These findings indicate that the management of educational facilities in schools has been running well, but the utilization of facilities still needs to be improved so that the available facilities can be used optimally to support the learning process.

Abstract

Objective: To measure the level of student readiness for participating in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program at higher education institutions, particularly at Ma’soem University. Method: The study employed a quantitative survey method. Data were collected from 112 students selected from a population of 935 students using the Slovin formula. A Likert-scale questionnaire was used to assess three dimensions of readiness: physical readiness, psychological readiness, and material readiness. Instrument validity and reliability were tested, yielding a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.960. Results: The findings revealed that students’ readiness to participate in the MBKM program was in the “Good” category, with an achievement percentage of 80.81%. Although overall readiness was satisfactory, the material readiness dimension, particularly the learning-recording sub-indicator, required further improvement. Novelty: This study proposes a comprehensive readiness assessment framework for Independent Learning Programs (MBKM) by simultaneously evaluating students’ physical, psychological, and material readiness. The framework contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing evidence-based information to support inclusive, student-centered, and effective implementation of independent learning programs in higher education while identifying specific readiness dimensions that require improvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi profesional guru di SMAN 8 Padang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 65 guru yang seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan dianalisis dengan regresi linear sederhana menggunakan SPSS 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan kompetensi profesional guru berada pada kategori baik. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru serta memberikan kontribusi sebesar 25,3%. Dengan demikian, peningkatan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dapat mendukung peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru.
