Abstract

Technological developments have changed computers so that they can process various kinds of data such as sound, images, and so on. Image is a combination of points, lines, fields, and colors to create an imitation of an object, usually a physical object or a human. Even though an image is rich in information, often the image that is owned has decreased in quality, for example, contains defects or denoises. Decreasing image quality due to noise can reduce the information contained in an image. Noise is an acoustic, electrical, or electronic interference signal that is present in a system in the form of interference which is not the desired signal. Image processing that can be done by a computer consists of several types. Image quality improvement (image enhancement) is one of the fields of image processing that is quite popular. The application of image enhancement can improve the quality of the image which was initially blurred or not in accordance with the wishes of the owner for the better. One of the image enhancement methods that can be used is Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE). The use of the CLAHE method can improve poor image quality by reducing noise in the image. The system is designed with the MATLAB R2014a programming application, after carrying out the testing process on several Google Maps images, it is found that the inputted "Certificate 1.jpg" image shows that changes in the image are good with reduced noise, so the resulting image has good quality. using the 2nd kernel weight (0, -1, 0; -1, 5, -1; 0, -1, 0).

Abstract

Primbana Medan Middle School is one of the schools selected in the driving school program. Primbana Middle School received training from facilitators from the driving school program. Every month this school attends a meeting with the facilitator via zoom meeting/google meet to evaluate the results of the independent learning curriculum at the school. At the end of the 2022/2023 academic year, a year-end reflection was held to assess how the results of the Free Learning Curriculum program were at the school. The teaching method that we use is group discussion so that it makes it easier for fellow teachers to explain the results of reflection on learning according to the subject group taught and explained using cardboard that has been completed by the school, then fellow teachers explain in turn to see the effect in teaching in a better direction. Fellow teachers are better prepared for the demands of the independent learning curriculum and are more prepared to carry out activities related to the independent learning curriculum. Students are better prepared and trained to explore the basic knowledge they have and can develop it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji potensi pelatihan desain grafis sebagai sumber pendapatan pasif dalam dunia periklanan bagi generasi Gen Z, dengan fokus pada program yang diselenggarakan oleh Lembaga Kursus dan Seiring dengan pertumbuhan industri periklanan digital, keterampilan desain grafis yang baik menjadi kunci untuk memanfaatkan peluang pendapatan tambahan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan efektivitas kurikulum pelatihan yang mencakup penggunaan aplikasi desain populer seperti Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, dan Canva. Melalui pendekatan metodologi kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis pelatihan bagaimana ini mempersiapkan peserta untuk menciptakan konten visual yang menarik dan strategi untuk pasar periklanan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang mengintegrasikan aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam menghasilkan desain berkualitas serta strategi pemasaran yang efektif, yang pada pasangannya mengoptimalkan potensi pendapatan pasif melalui platform digital. Studi ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan program pelatihan yang lebih menyeluruh dan relevan dengan kebutuhan industri, serta dampaknya terhadap pemberdayaan Gen Z sebagai desainer grafis dan pengusaha kreatif di sektor periklanan.

Abstract

Wood is the main element that determines the quality of a furniture product or other wooden crafts. Furniture was originally a wood carving craft industry, so that the furniture products produced emphasize the artistic aspect (carvings). The lack of knowledge of furniture companies and laypeople in this industry results in difficulties in determining the decision to choose wood to be used as a material for good and quality furniture crafts. Determining the quality of wood for furniture crafts needs to be strengthened by the increasing needs of the furniture industry. This industry has a high demand for quality wood raw materials to produce durable and aesthetic furniture products. Abstract

Hotel sambas mengalami kesulitan untuk mendapatkan makna atau kesimpulan dari keseluruhan komentar yang diberikan pelanggan terhadap produk dan layanan hotel dikarenakan banyaknya komentar yang ada, pertahun mencapai 675 komentar. Sistem analisis sentiment analysis system bertujuan untuk membantu pihak hotel dalam mendapatkan makna dari komentar yang banyak dengan menggunakan metode Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC). Metode ini mengelompokan komentar berdasarkan kategori-kategori yang ditinjau oleh hotel. Komentar dibagi berdasarkan sentimen positif dan negatif, sehingga dapat dievaluasi kepuasan pelanggan terhadap produk dan jasa yang disediakan secara terkomputerisasi dan spesifik. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan mendapatkan enam kategori yang ditinjau dengan 55 keyword kata benda, terdapat 120 keyword sentimen dengan 66 kata sentimen positif dan 54 kata sentimen negatif. Hasil pengolahan terhadap175 data latih disimpulkan bahwa hasil klasifikasi sentimen yang didapat adalah sentimen positif sebanyak 155 komentar dan sentimen negatif sebanyak 20 komentar. Kategori sentimen positif terbesar adalah kategori kamar sebesar 73 komentar dan kategori dengan sentimen negatif terbesar adalah kategori kamar sebesar 17 komentar. Tingkat akurasi dalam penentuan kategori adalah sebesar 77.14% dan 75.42% dalam penentuan sentimen memiliki tingkat precision 99.12% dan recall 72.9%.

Abstract

The application of information technology has been widely used in medicine. This application provides convenience and smoothness in the medical world to detect symptoms of various diseases, especially malaria. Malaria is still included in the endemic diseases suffered by the community in Binjai City, the more malaria patients, of course the more doctors are needed/work to diagnose patients. Artificial intelligence is one solution and helps doctors in supporting decision making for certain diseases. Building a system to diagnose malaria using the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method offers various significant advantages. CBR utilizes experience and knowledge from previous cases, allowing the system to provide a more accurate diagnosis based on patterns and symptoms that have occurred in the past.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the infectious diseases caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria infection in the human lungs. Tuberculosis is a disease that can be transmitted from people with TB through coughing, sneezing, talking, laughing or singing. Lack of public knowledge about TB and lack of funds for health checks make many people late to be treated. Expert systems are technologies developed based on programs, in accordance with human methods and mindsets. This aims to help people who want to check their health, but are hampered by costs, besides saving time if the examination place is far from the residential environment of the community concerned. Expert systems require a method that can help solve existing problems. In this study, the method used is the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method, because the main function of this method is to diagnose the disease. The calculation process of the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method which looks for the similarity value or proximity of old cases to new cases of a patient.

Abstract

Nasal hypertrophy is a swelling that occurs in the nasal concha. This condition is caused because the inferior concha has a larger anatomical size when compared to the other concha structures. The process of diagnosing nasal hypertrophy often requires high clinical skills and experience. RSU Putri Bidadari is one of the hospitals that treats Nasal Hypertrophy disease in patients. Nose hypertrophy disease has several symptoms that are felt which are usually caused by several factors such as exposure to certain allergens, chronic sinus infections, or a family history of similar nasal problems, so several diagnostic tests are needed that can confirm the diagnosis, such as nasal endoscopy to see directly the condition inside the nose, medical imaging such as CT scan or MRI to evaluate the structure of the nose in more detail, or allergy tests to identify the causative allergen. From the above problems, patients really need a system that becomes a recommendation in helping provide information about nasal hypertrophy disease that can diagnose early and take further action to prevent nasal hypertrophy disease. By using the certainty factor method, information from the steps above can be systematically analyzed to determine the level of confidence in the diagnosis of nasal hypertrophy. These factors can be assessed based on severity, presence of typical symptoms, correlation with risk factors, and results of physical examination and diagnostic tests. Based on the results of the CF calculation, the highest value is in the type of nasal hypertrophy disease with the type of Septal Deviation disease having a value of 1 or 100%, in the type of Rhinitis disease having a value of 94.24% and in the type of sinusitis disease having a value of 85.60%. From the results obtained, the system identifies that the patient has nasal hypertrophy with Septal Deviation type by 100%.

Abstract

Varicella Zoster or known as chickenpox is an infectious disease caused by the Varicella Zoster virus (VSV). Chickenpox is a worldwide airbone disease. Transmission of Varicella zoster is through the air which spreads through coughing and sneezing and also through direct contact with skin lesions. This varicella disease is less of a concern for the public because of the assumption of the public that Varicella Zoster will heal on its own. Where there should be a consultation media and knowledge that can be used by the community in the prevention of varicella disease early on children. So that not every patient brought to the hospital was found to be a patient who had been infected for several days until it was severe to be treated and treated for Varicella Zoster disease. Varicella zoster disease consists of firepox (shingles) which is a follow-up infection of the virus that causes chickenpox. Chickenpox is a viral infection that causes itching on the skin and is characterized by a rash or red spots filled with fluid called elastic. The Dempster Shafer Method is the Dempster Shafer Method, which is a mathematical theory to prove based on belief function and plausibility. Belief indicates a measure of the strength of evidence in supporting a hypothesis, while plausibility indicates a state of trustworthiness. Based on the weight value given by experts on each Varivcella Zoster disease symptom data, from the results of the analysis carried out in the previous chapter, the results of the diagnosis of Varicella Zoster with the type of firepox disease (Herpes Zoster) with a density value of 98.08% were obtained. Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is an important aspect that must be maintained, especially in this modern era. The use of appropriate technology can help increase awareness of cleanliness, one of which is by developing automatic trash cans. This research designs and builds a mobile robot in the form of an automatic trash can that can be controlled via an Arduino Uno microcontroller using Bluetooth and controlled via a smartphone application. This research designs a mobile robot in the form of an automatic trash can that can be controlled via an Arduino Uno microcontroller with Bluetooth and a smartphone application. The system receives navigation commands from the app and uses ultrasonic sensors to detect objects in front of the trash can. The microcontroller processes the command and sensor data to drive the DC motor and servo motor. The servo motor opens and closes the trash can lid automatically when an object is detected at a certain distance. The test results show that this robot can move according to instructions from a smartphone and successfully open and close the trash can lid automatically when detecting objects.
